Can't cut the clips in Windows Movie Maker

When I try to cut a clip in Movie Maker, the option greyed out and unavailable

Is the symptom simillar to all the clips that you edit on movie maker or only special on the clip you are now editing? You can also try the box-click + sign to the left of the tie bar, then right-click on the Audio bar for the 'secret' and other options. If the options are also grayed out, it could be an incompatible codec used to produce the video, especially if the symptom is specific to the clip that you are editing now and not to all the other clips. I hope I could help

  • Sometimes the clips in Windows Movie Maker will not play during preview and not at all after publication...

Hello!  I just create a movie using Windows Movie Maker (HP Pavilion dv6000/Windows Vista Home Premium).  During the PREVIEW, the first part of the video of my film sometimes will not play (view) while the audio continues. Sometimes he will play (view).  All clips are saved in the right place, the file formats are correct, and everything else that I think is done correctly.  In addition, after the publication of the video, he did the same thing; some parts of the beginning is not playing (see) only the audio.  I believe that this can have started happening after a few times when an error message pops up saying something like "Video player has stopped responding, but has revived with success...» "or something like that.

Now, I tried a few things to try to fix the problem.  I noticed that if I take the transitions and effects on the clips then they play but every time. I don't know why this happens only at the beginning of the movie and not all of the film since I also have clips with transitions and effects in the end.  Help!  This is my first time using this program/do a movie (and it's really good if I must say for me... he can win an Oscar! * smile *), but I wonder if I did something by mistake at the origin of this problem...

      3. Click on create a new account.
      4. Type the name you want to assign to the user account, choose the type of administrator account on the computer, and then click on create an account.
      5. Log out and log in to the new account.

  • How can I save my project in Windows Movie Maker 2.6?
