  I understand that you just bought a MacBook Air in an Apple store, and when you plug your iPhone 6 in it, you are to hear a sound indicating that the connection does not work.  If your MacBook Air has a port USB - C, you must use the USB - C for Lightning cable to connect your iPhone.

  My HP Officejet Pro 8600 cannot print from my MacBook Air. It keeps on showing "the printer is not connected", but the display on the printer connected. I often reset the printer "EVERY TIME" I want to use. I also tried to turn off my laptop and printer several times before printing. If I'm lucky, it will work maybe for one or two prints. If no luck then I have to reset everything again. Sometimes I reset the printer, the printer is not displayed on my selection.

  It seems that your screen displays some graphical anomalies when you connect to your user name. I would use these troubleshooting steps in the following article on the resolution of screens:

  Restart your Mac in safe mode to reset the default display resolution.

  If booting safe mode doesn't resolve the problem, reset your Mac NVRAM and SMC to reset the video ports on your Mac to their default values.

  Try to restart your printer by it turn off and unplug for 30 seconds before feeding it back up again. If this does not help, restart your MAC too.

  I have no preference, but try to get a compatible keyboard class requires no drivers to install, or there's plenty wrong with each update of the system on your Mac.

  Please excuse me because I am not so computer clued like many of you here.

  I have a macbook air.  I'll try and give you as much information to help:

  1.3 GHz Intel Core i5, 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, Intel HD 5000 1536 MB graphics card

  OS X El Captain 10.11.1

  Storage said 121 GB Flash storage-46, 64 GB free.

  I don't really use it for much.  The only things still running are safari, flow, Dr. cleaning and simple antnotes. I emptied the Recycle Bin. I have only a few pages of documents registered there.  But the thing I use it for movies at home with my baby on iMovie 10.1.  I have 30 minutes worth of film for my class there, and that's all.  But I can't even export that - he says that there is not enough storage.

  Is there anything I should do?  I am really stuck and can not believe that this computer is "full".
