  I am a user of Photoshop Touch, with the latest version of the app and iOS 8 on an iPad heavy Air and recently, I often can't save files I worked on: the application suddenly closes when I try to save the image often several layers, but also more light photographs.   Question: Assuming there is a problem of memory, is it possible to extract a large number of files PS Touch the iPad to make room and clean the app, so that I can work with him again?

  OK, I seem to have found a solution: I have copy to iTunes files that are in the PS button on my iPad, and then I extract them from iTunes on my Mac. I select the PSD format until I have copy in iTunes, and I'm doing this operation with lots of about 50 cases at a time. If I select more than one file to copy, tactile PS crashes.

  A "quick" fix that worked for me was to uninstall Adobe... and download Adobe Reader 11.0 installation base.

  Then download each individual updates and run them sequentially.

  I installed back to the last update of security which is version 08 and were able to register under normal operations.

  You will need to disable the automatic updates to keep up with the 08 version, until Adobe fixes this problem in a future release.

  Print > save as PDF - use an excerpt (part of Mac OS X), so Adobe Reader should have no effect on that at all.

  As for the error "file corrupted", simply uninstall the Reader app will not affect it. Follow these steps:

  Mac/HD/Library/Internet Plug-ins

  

  Trash the files AdobePDFViewer.plugin and AdobePDFViewerNPAPI.plugin

  Mac HD/Applications

  

  Trash the application Adobe Reader

  [user] / Library/Preferences

  

  Trash the com.adobe.Reader.plist file

  To access the [user] / Library, hold down the 'Option' and click on 'Go' in the FInder menu.

  Mac HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe

  

  Trash the drive (full record)

  Empty the trash.

  Quit your browser, and then reinstall the drive.

  Run it from the Applications folder and agree to the license agreement.

  You should have no problem with Safari PDF files download.

  Unfortunately, ANY PDF file that says it is damaged.... You will need their trash.

  If Photoshop says that the file is opened - then some external process left the file open. It has nothing to do with it being open in Photoshop, or even in the bridge. This sometimes happens when Spotlight had bugs (who came more than once and been corrected in versions of dot operating system).

  The external process could be another application or service to OS like Spotlight.

  The message is false, because the file name IS valid.

  This error is persistent.

  This error will not occur when you perform the same operation on my second internal hard drive.

  This error occurs on the files above about 1 MB in weight.

  What is happening is that the original file which I try to do the "Save" command gets corrupted and lost.

  If I do not use the command "Save as" to save my work under a different name, my work is lost.

  The same problem occurs with the CS6 PS 64-bit and 32-bit versions.

  I am very disappointed and annoyed with what is happening.

  If we are working on w9.pdf and run the script, you guessed it... W10.PDF

  Can I use the increment with saveAs operand? All of my efforts just keep adding things on behalf of file, not incrementtally by changing the file name.

  Hello Kent, of course it is possible.  But of course must do from a script from folder level, because unable to use the Save function as in a script of a document.

  The basic technique is to acquire the name of file, determine if it matches the expected format and to analyze the current number.  Increment the number, and then generate a new file name.

  For example, copy the following code uses a regular expression to perform the task:

  Here, the code displays an alert if name of file format does not match 'w', followed by one or two digits.  But you could have the default filename or ask the user what they want to do.

  I recently installed a M1212NF MFP for a customer.  They must be able to save scanned in PDF with the same file name without overwriting the original file. Instead, they would like to have a 4 digit number appended to the file (for example filename.0001.pdf, filename.0002.pdf etc.).  They would also like to be able to define their own file names instead of using a base (for example, customefilename.0001.pdf, customfilename.0002.pdf etc.) file.

  The printer has been installed on a network and does not act as a local USB printer.  The PC using the scan functions is under Windows 7 64-bit.

  I installed the software that came with your printer, but cannot find anywhere where it can be configured.  I know that after HP products have been able to do this via the HP Solution Center.  The solution center not delivered with the product.  Since I tried to install the HP Solution Center software, but I can't go beyond being invited to connect to the printer via a USB cable.

  I know it's easy enough to manually change the file name of the scanned pdf file when you are prompted to replace to save.  The function append is convenient for my client, given the constraints of time & workload.

  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanking you in advance.
