Can't watch youtube videos

When I try to watch a video on youtube it says "an error has occurred. "Please try again later". This only happens in youtube. I can watch youtube videos on Chrome. I have adobe flash player and firefox updated. In fact I just changed my OS to windows 7 32 bit to 64 bit. On 32-bit, I had no such problem.

Thanks for the responses guys, but I just installed the windows updates and everything is ok.

It is a problem caused by an add-on/extension installed. Recently, I helped another person to solve the same problem.

  • I'm the only person who can't watch youtube videos after the Flash update?

I use Firefox 8 version Mac OS x Lion. A few hours, I updated Adobe Flash and from that moment, youtube videos will not be displayed in FF. I get a black screen instead of the video.
Does not happen in Safari, where videos are shown perfectly. That's why I assume that this has something to do with the FF.

    Hello

Here is the archived Adobe Flash page (with a link to get the uninstall instructions):

Also, here is a link to the old version on OldApps:

Don't forget to uninstall completely, everything first and run CCleaner, before installing the old version.

  • Why I can't watch youtube videos using http, but I am able to do so via https? There is no fix? I just upgraded to version 5.

No matter if it's a video on YouTube or it's a video of youtube placed on another site, the result is the same: If the site does not use the secure protocol (https) video player do not appear yet. I searched for this issue and found that some people have the same problem.

  • Since I updated firefox to version 13 I can't watch youtube videos. whenever I try to play the video it says "an error has occurred. Please try again later. »

YouTube has worked fine before this update.

    I found solution 2...

Go to Firefox-> Add-ons-> Plugins-> Locate Shockwave Flash 11.3.300.257 (not 11.0.1.152) and disable it.

    OR

    (1) go in Control Panel-> uninstall a program-> uninstall Mozzila Firefox
    (2) go in run (Windows key + R)-> Type %APPDATA%\microsoft\windows\sendto - > go to Roaming-> locate Mozilla Firefox and remove it.
    3) go to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox (or anywhere where you have it installed) and remove this folder.
    (4) download the browser, install
    (5) does not update Shockwave
    (6) ENJOY!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones all of a sudden I can't watch any video on YouTube on my BB 9790

    Hi all!

All of a sudden I can't watch any video on YouTube on my BB 9790 OS7.1 (factory) app worked without any problems along three years, until a few days ago. YouTube or my BB informs:
"There was an error during the execution of this operation". However, I can see the titles and covers (or the first picture on the left), the options search and configuration work ok, etc.

What is the problem and its solution?

    Thank you in advance.

    Kind regards

    PS,

I am really concerned about this problem.
BTW is it the same problem with OS10?

I think that you make assumptions rather than having read and understood.

The hard reset of the word has many meanings floating around. That's why I explained and even posted a link, so that you know what I call a hard reset.

A hard reset I describe does not remove anything. A hard reset is abbreviation of hardware reset. It is similar to the power of a computer one cold rather than just restart restart the operating system without a full power off.

In order to Watch youtube, you will need Adobe Flash Player installed and works.

I suggest to uninstall Adobe from your PC and then restart your PC and visit the Adobe website and install it again.

  • screen goes black when you try to Watch youtube videos

Hi, can anyone help. I can't watch the videos on youtube, the screen goes black and the computer freezers. I have a HP DV6, Windows 7

    Hello

Still does not, now, the video and sound will play for about 2 seconds then the screen turns white with vertical stripes. He also freezers the computer completely

Hi, thanks for your help, but this is how I fixed it. Hope this helps others

However, to do this: go to http://www.adobe.com/software/flash and do a RIGHT CLICK on the logo that is being charged. THEN: Navigate down until "settings", click it, and you should have the choice: "disable hardware acceleration". NOTE: If you do NOT have this choice, study the icons down quickly: on MY screen, the left-most is an icon that looks like a video monitor: click on it and give you the opportunity to "disable hardware acceleration".

It works, if you can get it done before you get a BSOD! AND do not take the life of your computer in your hands by updating your video drivers. I do not really recommend doing that!

  • Re: Can't watch YouTube - Flash Player problem

    Hello

I made one off-reboot the box. After more than 200 updates all seems to work fine only takes 35 seconds to load instead of the 10 minutes before.
But have one problem: try to watch Youtube videos, I get the message I have flash player, no probs.
I download flash player, it said installation successful, fine, not when I go on Youtube and select the song that I'm informed that I need flash player to watch.

I expel flashplayer and install again, but still same message you need flash player to view.

    All ideas welcome thanks,

    Hello

Have you tested it with different browsers?
    IE9, Firefox or Google Chrome?

Check if all the cities of the browser have the same problem with the Flash Player.
