Can upgrade to ColdFusion 9 to 11 Enterprise edition, I use the same license key?

We will be upgrading to ColdFusion 9 Enterprise edition 11.  Can I use the same license keys or do we need new ones?

A license key is specific to a particular version. CF9 keys do not work with CF11. You will need new license keys.

Kind regards

  • Can I install 2 copies of Windows 7 on the same PC in a dual-boot configuration (using the same license key)?

I just bought Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade Family Pack, with 3 upgrade licenses.

I update my 3 PCs at the House Windows XP to Windows 7.

I double on 2 of these PCs, boot Windows XP (for me, one for my wife) on different partitions. the two Windows installs fine activated using the same license (probably because they are on the same physical computer with the same hardware, and only 1 instance of Windows XP can be used at a time).

I like to create 2 different partitions, and install Windows on each and choose the one that start when I boot. It worked well in Windows XP. Can I do this with my new Windows 7 Family Pack?

My final configuration would have 1 PC with 1 partition and a new update to Win 7; and 2 PCs each dual-boot using the other 2 licenses.

Please calm down, the question is not so complicated (if you read the operating instructions / first license agreements).

    (1) If you want to cancel an upgrade and return to your old system under license (XP), you can do it. You can not use XP anymore, If you upgrade. But if you come back that the State of origin, you will have the same license as before.

    (2) with your Family Pack, you can spend 3 PC to Windows 7. 3 upgrade licenses = 3 licenses to upgrade. It's an interesting idea to use it to "5 installed on different partitions 5" because two of them are "on the same physical PC." However, you should know the rule "1 license is 1 pc." You use not here too artificial.

I want to reformat my mac with bootcamp and I want to reinstall windows. can I use the same cd key and product? or do I have to do something with the current activation? Windows will recognize that it is the same computer after I repartition it?

If it worked the first time, there is no reason that it will not work the second time on the same computer, as long as the Windows 7 is a full version.

If this is an upgrade version, you must have the qualifying OS installed and enabled before you upgrade and it will work.

  • Can I dual boot Win7 32 and Win7 64-bit by using the same product key?

    Hello

My desktop PC is dual boot with XP and Win 7 Pro 32-bit. Both are retail box versions.

I would replace the partition with Win 7 Pro 64-bit XP. (That I still keep installing Win 7 32 bit legacy hardware that does not work under a compatibility mode).

Can I install and activate the new 64-bit partition by using the same product key, or is that 32-bit installation fail/break?

    Thanks for any advice.

-Includes the rights of transfer to another computer.

-Does not require a qualifying earlier version of Windows.

    -Expensive

    Upgrade version (detail):

-Includes the rights of transfer to another computer.

-require a qualifying earlier version of Windows.

  • How many PC can I install Windows 7 (full retail Version) on the use of the SAME LICENSE key.

I know that is 3 PCs for Windows XP, and Vista is 2 or 3. Basically, I just want to know if it's always 3 since I have 2 desktops and a laptop I want to install it on. And no, I'm not to ask questions about the upgrade, I mean the FULL VERSION on the RETAIL OWN INSTALLER.

Well, I installed Vista on 2 desktops at home and have installed XP on 3 desktops at home of the parents of my friends, all with the same CD key. So, apparently, you can use 1 cdkey more than once, but I expect to be able to use the 1 key on 3 machines I currently own. I wil definitely not buy 7 if I can't use it on more than one facility in my home...

Looks like you were using Windows XP volume license distribution and a cracked disc of Windows Vista.

    Hello

A full Windows license or upgrade, is for ONE Installation only.

When you have 32/64-bit, you must choose 32-bit or 64-bit, not use both.

And there is no way to upgrade from 32 bit to 64 bit; It must be done with a clean install.

    See you soon.
