  Make sure you have a page open in Design view. You will not have access to the "page properties" in Live View mode. You have also access without an open page!

  I am not able to access my newly purchased RN202, SN 45Y2535W003FC. I just plugged the power cable and turned on, but the power light keeps blinking even after hours. The NAS will connect to my local network with the ip 192.168.178.32 and ends by RAIDar under this address. However, the local admin under https://192.168.178.32/admin and https://192.168.178.32 page (even with http://) is not accessible. The connection is not accepted (cannot be connect-page in the browser). Also access more ReadyCLOUD is not possible, because the NAS cannot be discovered. Currently, there are no hard drives in the NAS. I also tried to insert a HARD disk already formatted in combination with a factory reset, but it does not work with the same result.   OK I found the solution by myself. Without a HARD disc inserted the NAS will not start correctly. As mentioned, I already tried to insert a HARD drive and then do a factory reset. Now, I saw that I have is to not properly place the HARD disk. If you open the lock on the grid (the thing in which you put the HARD drive), then you can not insert in the case completely and do not connect the connector of power und data. Maybe a little more detailed manual on it (for Dummies like me) would be useful. Argh...

  Hi, I just upgraded to 6.4.2 to 6.5.0

  Before I reboot:

  Cannot access admin page, became a loading bar with the NetGear logo, to receive a connection error message.

  I have a unit of the RN102 running v6.2.5 firmware. The problem I have is that after a day or so of the unit in place, I'm more able to access the admin page - it just expires. Everything else still works well, I can still access the Web user interface for other applications on the device (for example. BitTorrent Sync, Plex) then the device has completely locked up to drop off the network.

  Sounds like Plex used too much memory and the system has met a low-memory condition.

  You might try rebooting the NAS. Then you should find access to the administration web page.

  The 100 series is storage economic and designed to work both in a limited quantity.

  If you do not use an application for example Transmission then I would turn off.

  There is a newer build ARM of Plex 6.x to plex.tv/downloads that I guess you can try if you want.

  After turn on my NAS gets 192.168.2.25 IP address, I can ping from my PC. Power led blinks constantly after power to the top, I can't disable it only by unpluging power cord. I can't access Admin Panel by browser (connection refused) in Chrome and IE. I tried the procedure of resetting factory and OS reinstall that brings no improvement. RAIDar software is the realization that one SIN, but the firmware version is empty, so I guess there's the problem. Is there a way I can download the firmware - for example from USB when I have no access to admin panel?   The operating system and data are saved on the disc that is inserted in the ReadyNAS chassis. Without the records, there is no, you will not be able to access the admin page.   Hi, I have a HP Pavilion dv2500 with a screen broken or burned. (My step grandson accidentally shot of the stool on which I got). I hung it on a monitor so that it can still be used and have since bought another.  I put the password on the admin account and created a user account for my husband and one for comments.

  The problem is that I forgot the password I created. I tried everything I could think of, and I can't access the admin account. I know that you can access and change of safe mode, but because my screen is not working I can not see the loading screen, press F8 and select Safe mode.  It is attached to the monitor, but the display lights when it is loaded to the user accounts page. I created recovery discs when I got to the laptop, but I was hoping I wouldn't have to do it because I have a ton of family photos on the admin account I want to transfer to my new PC. I tried to access a safe mode then than the guest account, but he asks me admin password.

  Is there a way I can access the account admin or safe mode without using the F8 when loading? For any help or suggestion would be appreciated!

  I need to do a port forwarding on my router. My internet connection works (even if she falls occasionally) and I can also connect to other computers on my network.   I don't know anything about "reset admin account" but here are two things that may help the case to start in safe mode.  First, enter the mode safe mode with f8 key is a matter of time.  On my computer (Dell) during the boot process, I'm going to get a screen send me options of start of f2 and f12, which is to enter the BIOS.  I can start hitting key f8 then but you will in safe mode unless I'm hit immediately after that the screen with f2 & f12 choices goes.  I just hit several times for a few moments at this time.

  Had a laptop with Vista, and last year set up a NAS (Western Digital My Book Live Duo 4 to,) and copied a lot of content about it.

  Recently (because of the inevitable death of my old VIsta laptop) have bought beautiful shiny new Windows 8 portable...

  In Explorer, the NAS appears as a media server and I can browse to the shares on the NAS files and view but I can't do anything more with the files...

  Network, the NAS will appear, but if I try to click Top I get an error dialog that Windows cannot access \\Nasdrivename, the details of which give error 0 x 80070035 the network path was not found.
