Cannot access the Web Configuration of RE1000 page once I have connected to my wireless network

I can't access the Setup page of my wireless range Extenders RE1000 via IP 192.168.1.1 address once I have connected the Extender to my wireless network.  I was connected to the router via my mac and even took my mac out of wireless networks (just to be sure he wasn't trying to get to the IP 192.168.1.1 wireless.

It happened a few times.  After it happened the first time I reset the access point and was able to get back to the web administration page.  I updated the firmware and exactly the same problem repeated once I plugged in my network home.

This is a security feature? (Perhaps once it's on the wifi network you don't want just anybody access admin functions...?) A bug?  Or something else?

Thank you

If you don't set a static on the RE when IP address configure it on the connection of the SSID, it will grab an IP address from the router. You need to look in the router DHCP client table to find the RE of the new IP address. You can also use a reservation DHCP from the router to assign an IP address to the STIMULUS, but static IP is the best.

  • Cannot access the web configuration utility - server wrote: level_15_access

I've been using a Dlink router and wasn't getting any beach on my network, so I tried to configure my router linksys wrt150-n v1.1. I pressed the button reset for 20 seconds, then unplugged my modem (cable) and the router, then plugged in. When I open a browser window and type http://198.162.1.1, instead of open the configuration page, I get a message saying "the http://198.162.1.1:80 server requires a user name and password. "The server said: level_15_access.

I left the empty user name and used the password default admin, and who does nothing.

Tried to reset the router on 4 or 5 times without success. Any ideas on what I forget? I did not initially provided with the router Router installation CD, and it is not a downloadable file - I should be able to and have in the past been able to use the default IP address and the admin PW.

    Thank you!

    Try a Hard Reset:

    Hard Reset (aka 30/30/30 reset):

The following procedure will clear the memory NVRAM and set dd - wrt return to default values:

    • With the power on, press and hold the reset button the back of the unit for 30 seconds
    • Without releasing the reset button, unplug the unit and hold reset for another 30 seconds
    • Plug in the appliance ALWAYS keeping the reset button a final 30 seconds

    Hello

I'm a newbie on Cisco products.  I configured a Cisco ASA 5505 with VPN firewall.  However, I can't access the web after I connected to the remote IPSec VPN.  I also cannot connect to the bands using the intellectual property.  But I can connect to the internal servers in the office with no problems.

    Try adding the following commands

    permit same-security-traffic intra-interface

    NAT (outside) 1 192.168.1.96 255.255.255.240

Is there are always problems with VPN then I would maybe change VPN pool to anything other than something that comes into conflict with the LAN.

In this case, these configurations should do the trick

In order from top to bottom, they would do the following things

    • First remove the pool VPN and VPN configurations
    • Then remove the VPN pool
    • Remake of the VPN Pool with different network
    • Reattach the VPN pool for VPN configurations
    • Configure NAT0 to the new cluster of VPN
    • Remove the old line of the ACL of the configuration of NAT0

This problem occurs mainly due to user 'null '.
    You can try the following:
    1. service and return the available to the user.
2 delete and re-create the user.
    3. ensure that the user is able to connect to the workspace.

  • From high-speed wireless broadband with a cable modem, and shows the connection, but cannot access the web w / IE8

I have Windows Vista, IE 8 and labtop HP Pavilion. I had just recently Cricket Wireless Broadband, with a USB wireless modem. I now have the Charter/Comcast broadband through my cable. The modem is connected to my PC via the Ethernet port. On the connection icon on the toolbar on the right down, it shows that I am connected. The "Local Area Connection Status" in the network and sharing Center seems to be connected, since bytes are sent and received.

However, when I'm on IE8, it acts as if there is no connection. Not being able to view the web page. Also, now when I go to a local WiFi hotspot, I can't connect to a network, just as I always, and it shows that there is a link, however, it won't let me access the internet. It used to work, before everything first, I connected the cable modem.

    Any ideas? Thank you!!

    JFerguson15,

If the Cricket connection works correctly but your cable connection is not, which suggests the computer is set up correctly and the problem is with the cable connection. All other systems are able to connect through the connection of the Charter? If this isn't the case, please contact Charter and see if they are able to determine the issue on their end or help you reconfigure the modem.

  • Cannot access the Web server in the DMZ from the inside using IP global

    Hi all

    I hope it's a very simple question.

I'm running a PIX 515 firewall v6.3. I set up a Web server in my DMZ and use static NAT for re-branded it overall static IP address. Access from the outside of the demilitarized zone works remarkably well. I can access inside the interface Web site using the internal IP, but I can't access it from inside interface using the global IP are entrusted to him.

Is there a particular reason why this would not be allowed? My feeling was that the request would be forwarded via the external interface (as it is a global IP address) and then be bounced back by my sense of the ISP the request would come to the new external interface (as the static NAT is applied to the external interface).

However if I try and access the global IP from my inside interface, then the browser can not find the server.

can someone explain why this is so? Any information would be appreciated.

    see you soon,

    Wayne

Code v6 pix or less don't let you have traffic "back" or return flow via the same interface on which it was sent. Having also your bounce back off of an external server traffic is never a good idea, because you won't be able to distinguish which and rogue attacks by spoofing someone outside your network.

Since you are using pix 6.3 code, you may be able to outside the NAT. Add this static to your config:

    static (dmz, upside down) 203.169.113.110 10.1.1.27 netmask 255.255.255.255 0 0

You may need to run a clear xlate after adding the new static statement. Note that the interfaces: it's demilitarized zone, inside inside, dmz.

I would like to know if it works.

I configured my wrt54gx as point of access by disabling the DHCP and assigning static IP address 192.168.0.6. My main router is a wrt310n. My access point works very well when it is connected with a wire to the wrt310n.

I want to reonfigure the wrt54gx to use it as a main router again. To do this, I am unable to connect to the webpage wrt54gx.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you

You should be able to connect to the WRT54GX and configure it from there.  If it does not, simply unplug the WRT54GX of your other router and reset to the default values by using this procedure:

To reset your router by default, follow these steps:

    (1) turn off all computers, the router and the modem and disconnect from the wall.
    (2) disconnect all the wires of the router.
    (3) turn on the router and let it start up completely (1-2 minutes).
    (4) press in and hold the reset for 30 seconds button, then release it, then let the router reset and restart (2-3 minutes).
    (5) turn the router.
    (6) connect a computer cable to port 1 of the router (NOT to the internet port).
    (7) turn on the router and let it start up completely (1-2 minutes).
    (8) the power of the computer (if the computer has a wireless card, make sure it's off).
    (9) try ping on the router. To do this, click the 'Start' button > all programs > Accessories > command prompt. A black DOS window will appear. Enter the following text: "ping 192.168.1.1" (without the quotes) and press the Enter key. You will see 3 or 4 lines that begin with ' response to... ". "or"Request timed out". If you see "reply from...". ", your computer has found your router.
    (10) open your browser and point it to 192.168.1.1. This will take you to the login page of your router. Leave the user name blank and in the password field, enter "admin" (without the quotes). This will take you to your router configuration page. Note the version number of your firmware (usually found near upper right corner of the screen). Exit your browser.

If you get this day without problem, try the Setup disk (or configure the router manually, if you prefer) and see if you can get your work and router configuration.

If you can not ' response to... ". "in step 9 above, your router is probably dead. A report with this problem

If you get a response in step 9, but cannot complete step 10, is that your router is dead or the firmware is damaged. Related to this issue.

If you need additional assistance, please indicate your ISP, the make and model of your modem, the firmware version of your router and the results of steps 9 and 10. In addition, if you receive error messages, copy them exactly, and report.

Please let me know how things turn out for you.

  • Cannot access the Web http sites

Since yesterday, I have not been able to access any site that begins with http://, only Web sites that begin with https://. I do not download anything anything beforehand, it was working fine in the morning, but I came home in the afternoon and it did not work. No one else has used the computer. I can't go to these Web sites on firefox, safari or google chrome. I tried to unplug my router, clear the cache, history and cookies from my browser, resetting the computer, update the computer and the browser, use OpenDNS, but nothing works. I installed HTTPS Everywhere, that allows me to go on a site that wouldn't work before, but most of the websites that I use usually will not work.

I'm lost for what to do, so any help would be appreciated.

 / System Preferences / network / advanced / proxies / then deselect "proxy web http.

  • HP ENVY 750-170se: cannot access the RAID configuration via Ctrl + i on startup

I activated the RAID in BIOS > Storage Options > SATA emulations.

There are 2 drives HARD correspondents attached to the SATA 2 ports & 3.

At startup the Intel Rapid Storage screen shows the two discs. It shows the prompt to hit "Ctrl + I" to enter setup.

However: when I hit, stand or mash Ctrl + I, before, during and after the screen from the IRS, it never penetrates RAID installation.

What keeps me to enter RAID configuration menu?

Is there some SATA ports I need the HARD drive to be attached to the?

Motherboard is the model 2B4B, verson A0.11 BIOS

Based on this post I tried to use Intel Rapid Storage to make the RAID. TSRI was not installed/available in Windows so I donwloaded it... during the installation I was told there was a newer version already installed (which is weird because I couldn't access it).

TSRI in Windows made the RAID volume. No need to enter during POST/boot.

  • Cannot access the Web site 'one' only. I built it, no sense

For some reason I can't access one of my client's Web sites. I can communicate with everything and all other Web sites that I own or manage. I have a new install of Windows 7 Pro SP1 OEM. It makes no sense at all. I can update the site using my software and download it via their server, but may not display the changes. Their server 1 and 1 says it's my PC. I NEVER encountered this in 12 years on any of my PCS 8 different. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
