  In general, it is due to a firewall, in which case advice Jack will help.  In addition, there are a condition [rare] where the Type of a computer node becomes defined 'Counterparts' or 'P Pei' that will stop the communications between computers.  Bring up a command prompt (start-> Run-> "cmd") and enter the command:
  ipconfig/all
  If the 'Type of node' line presents itself as "Peer-Peer" or "Pp" or type "P", ("Broadcasting", "Mixed" and "Hybrids" are OK) then check out the following article:

• V9.0.1 FF and Zonealarm free 10.1.079.000 - cannot add Firefox.exe in the list of Application control settings (it keeps disappearing)

  I just rebuilt my XP SP3 desktop from scratch, so it's a pretty lean, clean machine right now (have all relocated apps yet). Updates are ongoing as of early this am.

  I installed FF v9.0.1 and free Zonealarm 10.1.079.000, who I thought were supposed to be compatible. However, when I try to add FF to the list of Application control settings, weirdness follows. I can add it, I can configure it... and then when I get back a few moments later, Firefox is no longer in the list of applications. Repeatedly, he disappears. I try to be pretty serious about security, and gives me a Benin urticaria cases.

  This is not expected behavior based on experience several years of using these two programs. But I must admit, these two versions are new to me, if anyone has any clues what / why / that's why?

Its recommended that you move your pictures in the pictures folder or to a different folder.

• Add a folder to the taskbar

  Very simple?

  In Windows 2000, you can add a folder to the taskbar.

  Windows 7 will make documents, programs.  I most often use folders and go from there.  I'm not interested in cluttering up my desktop or Explorer (it takes several steps to access the folder and defeats the purpose of the taskbar - one click).  If it is not possible to be, but it would be efficient to have once again the files in my task bar.

  If you have Explorer pinned to the taskbar, you can PIN a folder to the taskbar icon.

  After upgrading to windows 7 Home premium 64 bit vista family premium 64-bit, I expected to be able to connect my EPSON Stylus D68 printer on my laptop and leave immediately. However, when I tried to do this installation constantly failed.  Therefore, I went to the manual add the printer option in the menu devices and printers. However I met this error message: "Windows cannot add a printer. The local print spooler service is not running. Please restart the spoiler or restart the machine,"after reviewing the existing forums on the issue, I tried to restart the services option. However, the restart option has been obscured and when I just tried to start then I met an other error message: "windows could not start the spooler on the local computer service, error 1053: service has failed to demand launch or control in a timely. more when I click Properties to the spooler in the description it says failure to read the description. error code: 1813. This is all very frustrating for someone who just wants to add a printer to his laptop computer. can someone please? because I am all of these ideas.

  I was hoping F5 or so would just, but retains the Thunderbird download (how can this be prevented?-stop button does not work) messages received, but the update of the lists of file seems to need a reboot.

  The fastest way is to close and reopen the ThunderBird, which is a bit awkward. A simple F5 on the folder main mbx should update the files in a folder should update this file, always appealed to a low level (can be configured to do more/less with SHIFT f5 etc.).

  Finally I "Reset permissions" on the tab "File access" to all shared folders. It worked for me!

• Cannot add child account to the parental control

  No matter how many times I add my child account to watch safely from the family, it does not work. The account appears in the list of monitored accounts and has the correct options I selected via the Family Safety however website when my child connects his account said "this account is not monitored by parental control.

  I deleted the computer AND the child of the Family Safety options site. I uninstalled and reinstalled parental control over the child's laptop computer but the account is STILL without oversight and shows via the control panel in Windows 7.

  When I log on the site of Family Safety on that account child watch the monitored account as 'white' "computername" when "in white" should be the account on the laptop.

  I am a computer professional and cannot understand it. What other options do I have?

  ANSWER FOUND!

  I found the answer on a long search of these forums...

  I had this problem because the computer name was the same as the name of my child's account. I changed the name of the computer to another one of his account on the computer and I was able to successfully activate Parental controls through parental controls on the computer.

• Cannot add a folder of music to media player or media center.

  When I try to add a folder of music for windows 8 media center, it isn't search pieces and does not add the file. When I return, I see no folder added to all and no music in the library. He guides me through the dialog box, find the folder, begins searching, and then ends quickly.
