  He's gone, the place has been changed. I had this problem myself. I do not have access to SRM right now, but I think I could just enter the key in vCenter / Home / license. Hope I remember this right.

  Here are a few steps you can try:

  -with your copy of eclipse running, move to the use of the Flash view

  -If does not automatically trigger the SN dialog box, exit and restart eclipse.

  Sometimes, you need to quit/restart eclipse one or twice before the activation dialog box appears for plugin FB4.

  I just replaced a failed disk.  This PC was originally a Geniune copy Win 7 Home Premium that I have upgraded to Win 7 Professional.  I have the key to upgrade for professionals, but do not have the original liceey Home Premium.

  I was able to make bootable DVD of Home Premium and install it, but I can't upgrade to professional without the original key as well.

  Can someone advice to proceed in a profitable and legal way?

  Microsoft Store should really have a record.  When you connect to the Web site of the store, it is a story of purchase link at the top of the page.

  But just to let you know, the home premium product key is not required for 2 of the 3 methods that Paul describes this site.  I did it several times.  Absolutely, you can install from a CD upgrade, on a hard drive blank or empty, without install the first version or know the key.

  I put also t know why this happens, but you can try to reinstall Toshiba Value added Package if you have Vista or Windows 7 is installed. FN keys will be controlled by this tool and the Flash Cards Support utility. Everything you can download here:

  But remove the old tools first. Restart the computer, and then install VAP, then Flash Cards Support utility.

• Analysis fails after ESXi 4.1 set at level

  I did the upgrade to vCenter 4.1, then Update Manager 4.1 and successfully upgrade to one of the ESXi hosts in my cluster to 4.1. Now, I can't analyze this host improved due to an "unknown error". Nothing has changed in my environment 4.0 such as accounts, IP addresses, DNS, etc.

  Some other posts recommended re-Setup Update Manager 4.1 I did, even if I chose to not to delete my existing information DB. The error still exists.

  VMware has addressed this error with a Ko, or it is indeed because there is no metadata out yet for the 4.1?

• Problem with license keys after applying RP01 to 9.1

  We have a test 9.1 system, yesterday, I tried that apply RP01.  The installation seems to run OK and no errors were reported.

  However, when I try to launch VSM, I get an error saying there's not any valid license key attached to the system.  I went into the Server Console, and indeed they were all deleted.  When I try and add them back in and click OK/apply I get this error message:

  "Cannot save the license keys as the database schema was not created.  Run the upgrade of database to create the schema".

  Troubleshooting done so far:

  In the Console of the server if I click 'Test connection' in the tab database it says 'successful connection '.

  If I look in the SU_SYS_PARAMETERS table - in a few lines ('Version' and 'iEAppVersion') it still shows the version as 9.0101, but the DBVersion column shows 9.1.1.0.

  If I look in newspapers systems folder and edit the file "PatchDB.log" which I assume was created during the patch process. When it gets to the part "upgrade-data - dictionary.scp", it is full of errors, an example of which is attached.

  Someone has an idea what is wrong and how I can fix this problem?

  Have you changed your default schema of dbo to vsm_user inaccuracy? Did you remove dbo as the schema owner?

  I guess that these or other changes in the tables of database/schema/owner could be the reason for the question. Please see the newsletter if you have done everything.

  I installed XP Pro on a laptop of Levovo using Lenovo recovery media, no tricks all 100% according to the rules. Now, I want to change the license key of the OEM key to our valid XP Pro volume license key.and get the incorrect product key. We have a handful of laptops that need XP and they get to slow down and want to reload with Lenovo XP.

  You * may * be able to use the product key update tool - it usually works the other way around (from Volume to the retail/OEM), but it can also act the way you want.

  Normally, however, you must install a Volume with Volume media license - especially in WIn XP.

  Also note that a Volume license can only upgrade a valid original OS - Win XP Pro in this case.

  Hello. I try to add vmknic with frames in my distributed virtual switch.

  Ok! I've found a workaround.

  Since adding a vmkernel remote interface doesn't seem to work with DVS, I simply created one on a standard vSwitch and it then migrated to the DVS. And voila: the value 9000 MTU migrated intact with her! Here are the steps I followed:

  1. put the ESX host into maintenance mode - evacuate VMs manually if necessary

  2 remove the VMKernel iSCSI/NFS to the DVS interface

  3. create a standard virtual switch with no physical cards. He has no need to be a VMKernel VM Networking switch is fine. Make a note of the name you gave to the PortGroup created on the new vSwitch.

  4 using the remote control line, add the new interface vkernel specifying an appropriate jumbo MTU (9000) and the PortGroup on the standard new vSwitch. For example:

  Our company recently bought a license for VMware vCenter Server 6 Essentials for vSphere (VCS6-ESSL-C) with license keys for VMware vSphere Essentials 6 for 1 processor (ha6-ESSL-C).

  I accumulated vCenter Server 6 on a physical device and assigned the new relevant license key, as well as installed Update Manager Server on this machine. This instance seems to be functional and functional.

  I havn't done it myself yet, but I think you should be able to achieve your goal, follow these steps:

  -downgrade license keys CPU Essentials to v5 im Portal MyVMware

  -the value of the new vCenter Server Evaluation Mode (actually maybe not necessary)

  -Add the licenses of Essentials v5 license vCenter inventory 6

  -Add hosts to the new vCenter Server ESXi 5.5 and assign licenses Essentials guests

  -re - assign the license previously removed to vCenter Server
