Cannot change the document size-object locked msg

Hello

I'm changing the size of the document in my Indesign doc. I went in my master pages, is gone in the preparation of the Document and then tried to change the size and received an error message "the object is locked. Why I don't get that? How can I solve this problem? Thank you!

Have you tried with the tool (SHIFT + P) Page?

  • Starting with HP Officejet 6600 and cannot change the page size

    Hello

You have just purchased HP Officejet 6600 all-in-in-one and found that there not a duplexer, which is very very annoying! However, if I can just change the paper size, I can live with the disadvantage to the paper.  I have a Word document that is the flyer for our company, a document A4 which must be printed on A5 paper.  Old Canon printer I could make the A4 as an A5, but now I can't.

Hope I explained the correct problem and the TIA for help.

In my copy of Word 2007, I am able to evolve in A5 paper.

Be sure to select A5 in 6600 preferences.

  • Cannot change the font size in the window pop up and stickies

I use Acrobat Pro XI on a Macbook Pro, OS 10.9.5. As a proofreader/Editor, I use mainly the highlight and sticky tools. A few days ago the type in my comments have become extremely low, even if I didn't have any (intentional) changes. I have just put preferences at 18 to 20 points, but the police does not change and is still much too small. (I also noted, in a document of support, Mac users are not supposed to be able to size of setpoint, to small, medium, or large - but I do not have these options.) I upgraded x to XI to try to solve this problem, but nothing has changed. When I go to the editing of content box, "Edit text & Images" is grayed out. I can make changes in the field 'Add', but I do not use this tool. I'm getting a little bit frantic (Yes, the smoke is because my hair is on fire), because most of my jobs are PDF files, and now I can't work on it.

I am sure that it is simply a case of DO (silent operator), but I'd appreciate it if anyone can put back me on track. Thank you.

You use the properties toolbar? It is contextual. Read the first article below for more information on this subject.

Also try to go to one of your old PDF with the font size as you like it. Right-click on the reminder and select 'Make properties Default '. Here are a few articles that I hope will help.

  • Cannot change the font size of the title of the presentation

    Hello

After I published a PPT with presenter, I found that the titile presentation was too long to display the full name, the last words has been lost. I tried to change the "Theme editor" smaller font size, but it can only change the font size in Notes. Is there a way we can change the size of police/police Panel contour (index) and title of the presentation (I mean the title on the top of the index, not the title of slide)?

    Thank you!

  • Please help: cannot change the order of objects on the stage by dragging in the timeline

Hi all, I am using Captivate 5.5 and try to change the order of objects on my stage.

I searched on the internet and read the FAQ here. I cleaned my cache of projects. My slide number amounts to 61, so not very big.

I wonder if it is because I have several interactive objects, on the other?

For all the blocks on this stage, with the exception of the one on the left of the first line, I have a picture of grayout, a slidelet, a click box and a real picture, all stacked together. I need to order them correctly so that they play in the right way. I have the right order for the second block on the first line, but can not change the order for the rest of the objects by dragging in the timeline - it just won't let me hang out.

Here is the screenshot of my scene and a part of the timeline. Thanks for the tips!

It turns out that I made a stupid mistake by dragging the names of objects instead of the real thing... Sorry guys.

  • Cannot change the fonts, size or whatever it is for the typewriter tool

    Hi all

I'm having a problem with the typewriter tool.  I can't change my font on about 95% of my PDF files?  Every once in awhile I am able to change the font and size.  But I can't find a consistency and cannot understand the question?  When I want to write on PDF files to change the size, or font, it won't allow me.  Any ideas?

    Thank you

    Lorne

    Good dia lorne17,
You may need to run a "repair" on Acrobat?

While change for Acrobat 8.x Pro/3D options are not as fully featured
like those of Acrobat Pro Extended, both have options.

With each request, I can access the available choices in a fairly systematically
    Frank manner.

    Using Acrobat 3D (8.1.4)
Open the toolbar of the typewriter. With the hand tool selected, single click on a text string
previously entered by the typewriter tool. The shape of the cursor becomes up-down and left to right
    arrows. Double-click.
The mouse pointer is now a 'i' and a line of the blinking cursor is present about to insert. Click-drag to select text.

The typewriter toolbar change options become available.
(size of text and line spacing)
With the string of text still selected, right-click to display the context menu. Come on down
entry (Text Style), hence a secondary menu is present for certain choices for
    text style.

    Using Acrobat Pro Extended (9.1)
A similar approach. Hand tool > double click > "I-beam" allows click - drag to select text.
Options for change are now available on the toolbar of the typewriter.
Unlike Acrobat 8, you have the font color, font type and size of font choice with
    Acrobat 9.

    Be well...

  • Cannot change the size of the Page using Document format

I created a working document which is a long page, 800 px by 4000 px. It's a document that has grown as it has been assembled, and I would regularly change the page size by using document format to lengthen the page so I could make room for additional content.

Now I'm trying to reduce the length of the page, because we have removed some of the content. I need to change the page size of 4000 px long 3380 long PX. I'm going to the preparation of the Document, type the new page size, click OK and nothing happens. I tried to resize the page to 6000 px, and nothing happens. I tried to resize the page of 2000 px, and nothing happens.

Did somehow lock the page size? I can't understand this one out, and the representative of Adobe tech (in India) including support less on the problem I did.

You can not, certainly not with the reader. Even the full version of Acrobat cannot do this directly. PDF files should never be edited in a way.

  • How can I change the font size on a document that has already been signed?

How can I change the font size for my entry on a document that has already been signed? It seems that Adobe will not allow this. Thank you.

    Hi jonathanh19241035 ,

I would like to inform when, once the document is signed and then after that it does not to exchange with the font size if it's signatures is the digital signature.

If its use fill & sign and then using the add-on Acrobat the size of the font of the entry can be change.

Also, this can be done in Acrobat Pro not in the drive.

    Kind regards

    Hi Michael,

In order to remove the pages in a PDF using Acrobat Pro DC, you must choose "Arrange Pages" in the right pane, select the pages and choose the trash icon in the top bar (or use the delete key).
