"Cannot connect" and I'm stumped.
I could not connect to the Internet (through AT & T) all day (early 2011 MacBook Pro, OS 10.11.3 and a wired Ethernet modem).
As soon as I start it, I get the following error message:
"Network connection: the connection failed because the communication device is not available." Make sure that it is connected to your computer, and try to reconnect. "(I did, but it does not help).
In system preferences: network: "AT & T DSL: not connected" and "Ethernet: not connected." The Ethernet cable is not plugged in or the device at the other end does not respond. »
I have no Internet connection problem with a utility boot disk, which has network settings and account Internet identical to those on the drive hard internal and is essentially a put to update the clone of the drive of the MacBook.

Can be restoring from time machine is a good idea. It's easy, you start your Mac in the recovery mode by pressing Cmd - R and the power button. Then begin to restore. The only problem is that it is a lot of time.

I m wondering if the same problem is displayed using another computer or another USB hub with an additional power supply.
From my point of view of the few this problem could be related to the low power provided by a single USB port.
The two hard drives seem to support the USB 3.0 standard.
The USB 2.0 port common provides 500mA and USB 3.0 requires 900mA
This means that two USB devices connected simultaneously use 1800mA which could be too much for the USB ports for s laptop -

Cannot connect and more as a user apps
I created a EUL APPS using the instructions provided by link: Armstrong-Smith Consulting and am able to connect administrator discoverer as SYSADMIN and administer the EULS that was created under a DB account.
I gave the administrative rights to a business district to an apps user.
I try to connect to Discoverer Plus and/or Viewer by using the user account apps with administrative rights for the company in the EUL above and get the following error;

Looks like your APPLSYSPUB account has a different password for the standard PUB. For this reason, you need to change this setting in your pref.txt file.
If you look in this folder: * $ORACLE_HOME\Discoverer\Util * you will see a file called pref.txt. Edit this file and look for the GWYUID setting and change the password to match what you have inside the admin.
After editing the file, save it, and then starting in the same folder, run the file called applypreferences. Under Windows, it's a BAT , under Linux and Unix file, it is a SH file.
After you apply the privileges you must stop and restart the server of discoverer using opmnctl stop followed of opmnctl startall when executed since the * $ORACLE_HOME\opmn\bin file *.
That should do it.

Assuming that you have a valid SIM card in the phone, it is more often symptomatic of a phone that has been hacked or jailbroken to unlock.

Through my research for an answer that solves this problem, I have found that not even Apple knows how to solve this problem of password to iCloud.
All 4 of my devices constantly ask my password because of some problems with xyz account.
Then I enter the password only to be told that iCloud cannot check my password.
Then after several repetitions of this I get locked and have to go to the site apple id to change my password.
I didn't spend $6 000 on these beautiful devices so I could spend countless hours dealing with support (with no positive result) and find themselves just beyond myself in frustration. I have a Mac Pro, 2 iPads, 2 iPhones and an iPod touch. All are behaving this way, no matter what it is I'm doing at the time.
Apple needs to fix this problem, if they have any idea how to.
