Cannot connect from remote location (place of Copier)

obtained on Mozilla.com. Tried to connect. Identified no username or password. I think that I don't use "tenorsherlock" username. I just used alan l. holmes.

Well, I might as well join in the party.

This thread reads like a comic script, with volunteers ask you questions and you answer with stuff not related to chance.

So lets get this back on topic. What you try to do the Mozilla.com?

If it is not apparent, Mozilla.com does not email in a form in any way. Thunderbird Mozilla marked customer of e-mail is software that resides on your computer and which collects your e-mail from the account so that it has been implemented. If you want to send mail from absences from home, your e-mail address, your e-mail provider is sure to have a webmail portal that you can access via a browser.

This that you will not be able to do, it's remote access to your Thunderbird installation, unless you have configured your computer to access the internet using a remote program like logmein.

  • Client VPN blocks inbound connections from remote desktop?

I am running Vista x 64. To connect to a VPN Windows via the built-in VPN client works except that it seems that all incoming connections from the local network (including remote desktop) are blocked.

Is this a known problem or design? It is a problem for us because the computer that is running the VPN client is a virtual machine running in hyper-v, so accessible by users via remote desktop - only connection to the console of the hyper-v Server is not an option.

    Are there alternatives?

It sounds like the question to split the tunnel . On the VPN client you can enable/disable split tunneling. See this article for help with that.

  • Cannot connect to remote Windows 7 Enterprise through WAN but ok via LAN desktop

    This is the problem,

I have two laptops both running Windows 7 Enterprise, and I can't connect to his office remotely through the internet (123.234.234.234:3389)

I already made sure the following.

1 remote Desktop has been enabled.
    2. permit connections from any version of remote desktop.
    3. to permit the remote desktop connection in Windows 7 firewall, both private and public.
    4. I am the only user and so was an authorized user of remote desktop.
    5. all remote desktop services are running.
    6. I forwarded port 3389 to the internal IP (eg 192.168.1.101).
    7. I can telnet my single external IP address but not with port 3389 along the period of INVESTIGATION.

    8. I tried port 3389 is open.

The strange thing is that I can connect to the remote desktop of each laptop from within the LAN using its internal IP (eg 192.168.1.101).

What seems to be the problem here, and so, I hope someone can help me solve the problem here.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Cannot print from remote desktop

    Original title "Printing problem" remote

I work over the desktop connection remote for another company. Recently, all of a sudden, I can't print when I am connected remotely (I've selected the "Printers" checkbox on the Options/Local tab resources before opening the Office remotely.)

When I bought a new Kodak printer it started while I got the Kodak printer. I have a HP officejet 4500 and it worked fine (I still have it at home and it prints fine from my laptop) so when I went to replace I bought the same machine only a slightly newer version. When I am connected remotely, it recognizes the new printer and acts like it sends but nothing happens and it has no build up in the Q.

  • Windows 8 Setup cannot connect from now error

Hey guy's I come to you with a question, I can't seem to find the answer to anywhere.
I downloaded the installer of Windows 8, I put my serial number, he recovered, but when I click Next it tells me he goes online, then he said * we can't connect now right *.
Anyone know the fix for this problem?

I am running legitimate Windows 7 and I just install it from the disc that came with the laptop.
I thought it would be that I needed Ethernet for her to work just to make sure no drops of internet, but when I installed 8 on my other computer I had no such problem on wifi.

If you purchased Windows 8 and you have a product key for Windows 8, you can download and install from the following link.

  • Printing from remote location

The print by sending e-mail to [email protected] feature has no printing options. Ex I want to print on both sides of the page, I am unable to choose this anywhere. Y at - it something I missing.pls tips

    Hello

I think this option will come. When, I don't know. The logic is how to load all THE instructions (IE PCL) agents of e-mail or attachments to say printers to print on both sides. Not just a printer, this should work for hundreds of models out there.

    You don't miss anything.

    Hope that answers your question.

  • Windows cannot connect to the printer. The name of the printer has been correctly entered, or the specified printer has lost its connection to the server.

A Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition SP2 32-bit computer is a field, the file and print server.

A computer on the domain is a machine of Windows 7 Ultimate 64 - bit with HP DesignJet 500 24 printer connected via USB.  The printer is running the latest firmware.  The PC is running the latest 64-bit drivers with no problems to the host machine printing.  The host also has the latest drivers 32-bit (x 86) installed by downloading by other computers on the network.  The printer is configured to share with the share name of HPDJ500.

Now, on a machine Windows XP Pro SP3 32 bit on the field, I'm trying to connect to the shared printer.  Add a printer > click Next in the wizard of > check "a network printer or a printer attached to another computer" and then click Next > click on "Find a printer in the directory", then click Next > click Find now > HPDJ500 in the list below (the XP machine can see the shared printer on the Windows 7 computer!) and click OK.  At this point, I get an error that says: "Windows cannot connect to the printer.  The name of the printer has been correctly entered, or the specified printer has lost its connection to the server.  For more information, click Help. »

Alternatively, if I right-click on the HPDJ500 printer listed, then click on connect, I get the same error message but I also see a separate window that says "Connecting to HPDJ500 on H2.ws.net" with the lively projector.  This window also disappears as soon as I clear the error message.

Please note that this printer worked perfectly as a printer shared, hosted on a machine XP 32 bit on the field.  It works perfectly for the new Windows 7 64-bit machine, but we cannot connect from anywhere else on the network (including the server which translates the same exact error message).  On the server, I also preinstalled drivers thinking there was a problem with a 32-bit computer, trying to grasp the correct drivers from the host 64-bit Windows 7, but that doesn't change anything.

    How connect to this printer?

Try using the path UNC path of the printer in the Add Printer Wizard.

Add a printer > network printer > connection to this printer ((deuxieme point)

Click next to browse (leave blank, the name field) or type the UNC path of the printer (i.e. \\Computername\Printername) path

  • "Cannot connect to 201.86.73.83 remote connection! (what could cause this popup? where to check?)

I tried to ask as to make following the question to someone else, but no response; try as a new query.

DSL, router Linksys (tomato), a Windows 7 computer, put in place last November for the new project of a member of the family.

The person who has implemented it access distance.  Here, it is used for Word and Excel, no music or video online.

I came yesterday morning and found a popup in the lower corner toolbar on the right that says:

"Cannot connect to 201.86.73.83 remote connection!

(the IP is in the Brazil, I've never heard of him, found nothing more on this subject).

The person who set up the machine has a long experience of Windows, changed some settings on the router and says "there is no evidence of the intrusion, so don't worry.

But I know in general that "the absence of evidence is not evidence of absence" - so I'm still a little worried and if I see that again once I know what it means or where to look.

Is there a log file where I could search by application (which one?) no matter what happened in the hours before, I noticed that popup?

I do not know what newspapers is relevant if I can get to the lists and create a custom, view if I knew what to check.

I don't know how long the popup is also present on the screen, the machine had been on it during the night and as soon as I took a screenshot of popup is gone.   It would be over an 8 hour period I want to check out.

If you can connect successfully on your local LAN but can't remember, from a remote location, you have TCP Port 3389 open on the firewall and/or router as the server/host DRC PC is behind. Call using the public IP address of the router or the server/host DRC if your connected directly to a modem. You must also assign the host/PC one DRC address static IP of the server so if you restart the server/host DRC PC it keep its local LAN IP. • Cannot print using Remote Desktop connection

I have a computer that we will called XP. XP was XP loaded on this subject. It is on a home network with ethernet etc. It has a USB Samsung CLP315 printer attached to it, which we will call SAMSUNG.  XP print SAMSUNG without any problem. SAMSUNG is shared and has the latest drivers.

    Configuration on XP
    Pilot # is 3.04.85:44
Port: USB001 virtual printer for USB Port
Sharing installed additional drivers Intel environment Windows 2000 or XP

Using Remote Desktop connection, I connect to my computer at work, that we will call the WORK that has Windows 7 above and is part of a local network. When you use Word for example on WORK, I should be able to print on SAMSUNG on XP. However SAMSUNG on XP does not present as a printer available. However, I can print from JOB printers shared on the local network or locally connected. Unfortunately, it is of limited use to me because I can not physically get the printed paper, or to know if the printed page correctly until the next day, I get to work.

I have the Settings Options on the remote desktop connection when I connect XP to WORK remotely. I think that this complies with the info I found on the knowledge base.

On the general tab, I have the correct name of the computer and user. I have "allow me to save credentials" deselected.

Local "resources" tab, "materials and resources local printers" and "Clipboard" are selected. Under 'More', 'smart cards' and 'Cards series' are selected. Similarly 'Readers' and 'Supported peripheral Plug - n Play' and their subitems are all selected.

    Tab programs not specified

If there is other information in the options that may be relevant, please advise and I will detail later.

Already XP used to via the desktop connection to remotely connect to another computer to WORK which took place of XP. When I'd do things on the WORK and wanted to print with SAMSUNG on XP, SAMSUNG has shown on the list of available printers and would print WORK jobs

On the local network at the office, WORK is connected and print to a shared printer on a computer showroom (XP) which is identical to the SAMSUNG for model # and driver. So by my way of thinking, the driver is already loaded and functioning.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • Cannot connect remotely ASA5505 on code 8.0.5

I have 2 ASA5505 firewall deployed, 1 in the data center (code v8.0.3) and 1 at a remote site (code v8.0.2).  Remoteness has 2 PCs that connect to the data center to access services directory, file servers, Exchange, etc.  ASA5505 firewalls are configured for a site to site VPN.

We had problems of stability with the ASA distance we decided to upgrade the code first.

We have updated the data center 8.0.5 and everything was fine.  I have given me flows and that I could enter the two ASAs since the data center via ASDM and ssh.

Then I updated the remote location 8.0.5.  Now, I can't ASDM or ssh to ASA unless I am at that location.  PC are always able to connect to their servers.

I can't do a ping, telnet, ssh or ASDM inside vlan ip address while I'm at the other site.  I see in the newspapers of being built on the distant firewall incoming connections, but it is not creating a new outbound connection to the movement of the answer.

8.0.5 did something to block connections to management from outside?

It is an odd, thanks for sharing the solution!
