Cannot connect the satellite to LAN

Basically, I can connect to my bb wireless but when I want to use the connection cable at the back it does not connect.

It says "trying to connect through WAN miniport PP..." It's just. I have a map of network PA3362U 1MPC. I downloaded the updated Intel drivers. Help

Hello

The number of PA3362U 1MPC belongs to the Intel PRO / Wireless 2200 b/G card. There is a wireless network card and not the LAN card!

But first you have post the Details of name laptop. No one can help you if the laptop is unknown!

But the way in which; go to the Device Manager and check if the network adapter driver has been installed correctly! If the driver has not been installed correctly the yellow exclamation point must be visible and the LAN card should not appear in the section of the network adapters.

    Hello

I have trouble displaying to an external source (LCD TV). There is no display when I connect to the TV. When I press Fn + F5 the only option available is the LCD cell phone IE. I checked on the driver settings and there is no option to select the parameters for a secondary/external monitor.

I use the connection of 15 pins with an adapter to convert video connection - is it ok or should I use the S-video connection on the back of my laptop?

    Any help would be appreciated

    Hello

This TV option does not appear because you have connected the TV to the wrong place.
The TV device must be connected to the laptop s-video port via compatible and s-video cable supported!

Then, you can use FN + F5 to switch the display to the TV set.
Please note: sometimes the s-video channel must be enabled on the TV!

  • Cannot connect the Satellite A660 to WLan - card not found Intel

I unboxed it today and connected to my home wireless network. Everything was fine.
I propose then my laptop in the living room where the router and the modem is, the connection dies less than a minute or two.
Then he says that there are no networks in range at all, cannot detect everything.

I troubleshoot it and the results are: he says: problem with the router / access point is fixed; and another notification that says a network cable is disconnected or may be broken. I have no cable so idk why he tries a wired connection. I reset my router and tried everything.

I take her back to połączyćto left home in my room and it works fine, no drop outs.
It's all new, satellite a66. I made sure that my data was on and the wifi is good.

Another notification appears when I troubleshoot that says "My technology Intel wifi adapter not found" idk what it is all...

    Thank you.

    > Another notification appears when I troubleshoot that says "My technology Intel wifi adapter not found" idk what it is all...
Because of this message, I would recommend checking the status of the WiFi (WLan card) adapter in Device Manager.
You could uninstall the WLan driver in Device Manager.
Then you need to download the latest driver from this page:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/

and should install the new drivers.
Reconfigure the Wlan connection and test functionality.

PS: Please make sure that the WiFi was enabled (FN + F8) before trying to set up the connection.

  • How to connect the Satellite Pro P100 to Hifi

I've got Satellite Pro P100. How to connect this laptop to stereo
It's probably easy, but what I can say... Call me stupid.

I have head that comes out of the headphone jack, it connects to my friendly hifi.
Ill be there is a unpleasant hissing in the background. Trying to hook up my boys in head mp3 player, and that works very well.

Any chance of some help... Thank you

    Hello

To my knowledge, you can connect the satellite Pro P100 to HiFi only via a cable 2 RCA Audio Y adapter. To my knowledge the laptop doesn't support the S/PDIF audio output so you only to use an analog audio port.

You can also buy a stereo adapter with 2 x cinch sockets to connect the laptop to the stereo. This card can be plugged into the headset jack

    Check this box:
    Stereo adapter

I think you should visit the nearest dealer of portable. It can show you the right and taken in charge of cables and adapters.

  • Cannot connect by Satellite A355 for a Canon IP Pixma 5000 on a LAN

Recently, we purchased the Toshiba Satellite A355-S6925, which has the operating system Windows Home VISTA 64 bytes.
The Canon Pixma 5000 printer is directly related to a Windows XP-based computer by using the 32-bit operating system.

When I go to add a printer (Option LAN) the Toshiba sees Canon printer but then returns an error message that there is a bad driver. When you go to the next step, it says that it cannot find the correct "INF". I suppose the INF file is actually on the remote computer on which the printer is connected to. So a question, where is an INF printer on a Windows XP computer?

A test, I plugged the printer directly on the Toshiba and the loaded Toshiba driver the printer. I hoped that could solve my problem, but it didn't. When I tried to add the printer, once again, like a remote printer I got the same error message that it could not find the INF file.

The "Add a printer" Wizard see Canon printer on our LINUX computer. In fact when I added the printer connected to the LINUX computer, I can print from the Toshiba. While this works, it's a bad solution, because I'm still not able to print directly to the remote printer.

Another experiment, I tried to use the printer installation disc, this was rejected by the Toshiba since he was a pilot of 32 bytes. I also downloaded from the site Web of Canon driver 64 bytes, but once again the Add Printer Wizard said that there was a missing INF file... So I always assume that I need to point to an INF file that is located on the Windows XP computer?

    Any advise?

Great news and thanks for your comments!
On the State of ink, you may have to contact the manufacture of the printer.

    Good day!

  • Cannot connect by Satellite L300-1BW to wireless technology

My Satellite L300-1BW has recently ceased to connect the my Wi - Fi.

It shows that wireless networks are available, I can see my secure network and there is no red cross through the icon but when I click on IE, it only says: unable to connect.

I tried with 2 of my friends houses on their connections without wire (previously connected) and it just does the same thing.
I can see all the networks concerned, but it won't take me actually to my homepage.

I do not understand why it has just stopped working - drives my lan are up-to-date. Help..!

    Hello

You can see the WLan, which means that the WiFi is enabled correctly.
But have you used the good encryption and encryption password in order to connect to the WLan router?

    Please check this!

Please also check the firewall settings!

Do this! There are enough discussions on these issues.

  • Cannot connect by Satellite Pro projector if more than 3-4 m cable

We have several laptops - and we have never had any problems that they might know an external projector.
The length of the cable is normally around 10 m.

Our Toshiba Satellite Pro laptops can only connect to an external projector if the cable length is less than 3 to 4 meters.

    What shall we do?

    Hello

    > Our Toshiba Satellite Pro laptops can only connect to an external projector if the cable length is less than 3 to 4 meters.
It seems that the video signal is too weak and he cannot reach the appliance connected to the end of the cable.

I found this info useful on this page that explains this behavior:

+ A normal PC, notebook or tablet PC VGA signal is not designed to operate on long cable runs. +
+ You can find only one kind of PC or laptop will work with a long cable to projector, and another type of PC or laptop may not work. +
+ However, this does not mean that the second computer is down. +

    http://www.RM.com/support/TechnicalArticle.asp?CREF=TEC333092

    _Solution: _
The VGA signal must be amplified before it can be sent to the bottom of a long cable. These symptoms are all indicative of weak signal problems (or bad wiring).
You should always use an amplifier VGA (active), Terminal VGA box (active) or a switching VGA (active) unit when you use along the VGA cables

  • Cannot connect my Satellite L20 to AP

    Hello
I have a satellite L20-214, just bought it and an edimax 7205 ap.
    Both supported the 80211b specifications.
Access to the AP is completely open!
But I can't get the laptop to connect.
He sees the network in the list, but it just cannot connect to it.
    I tried all settings,
The access point works perfect with smc cards and a few old books.
I set all the possible settings in the config of Toshiba, disabled the encryption, change the channel to 1 because it is the channel of pref. of the ap and choose 80211b as prim.

For now, I'll give some further tests before I have to return the laptop to the store because it's brand new.

But I hope someone has an answer for me.

  • Helps to connect the Satellite A100 HDD IDE

After a disastrous accident defrag I can't start Windows XP. I want to connect the hard drive to another computer via an IDE cable in a portable control box.

My hard drive has previous Toshiba to an IDE connection, but the Satellite Pro A100 seems to have a custom connector, which I've not seen before. Anyone can help a way to connect the IDE hard drive, so that I can recover my data before using Recovery CD which will, of course, wipe the hard drive?

    Kind regards

  • Cannot start the satellite M35X

    Hi all.

    Cannot start my Satellite.
When I push the power button, it turns on, the blue led is ok but the HDD led blinks 1 or 2 times or it happened when it is not clear at all and put the laptop off, but the power button remains lit.

However, from time to time, it starts up, shuts down load the XP but after 1 minute.

I have reinstaled recently the WinXP, and I did a bios update. Before that, the laptop didn't have this behavior, however, the XP raported me that the hard drive is faulty.
I figured it is something related to the HARD drive.
    What should I do?

How can I be sure that the HARD disk is wrong?

    Hi mate,

If your HARD drive has bad sectors, you must exchange it ;)

For example before doing this, you can check for bad sectors using specific diagnostic tools HDD as Drive Fitness Test:
    http://www.HitachiGST.com/HDD/support/download.htm#DFT
Here, you can download an image file to create a boot disk. Then boot from it and to start the test, it is quite easy! ;)

If your HARD drive is faulty, this tool should recognize this.

    Hello!

Do you have the yellow marks in the Device Manager and installed the right driver?

You should check if the laptop and the router use the same standard.
And you can try to disable all the security settings on the router. I mean disable encryption, SSID hidden settings, MAC address filtering, firewall and so far.

Sometimes it's good to load the factory settings on the router and a new configuration.
