How are you communicating on this forum?

I suppose that from another PC, correct?

Download you the driver on the PC that you are using, and you glitches the file on a CD, or copy on a USB key.

You transfer the driver file that you copied to a flash drive or a CD into the computer that needs the update of the driver, then run.

Welcome to the community of Sony.

Check in the manual of the player, if the LAN USB UWA-BR100 card is needed to connect the player to the wireless network.

You can download the manual here.

Test the speed of the Internet being used from the link below.

I need a claim code. To achieve this, I need to access ePrint of my Control Panel on my printer HP model 3512. Unfortunately, I like "Printer cannot connect to the Internet." Can someone help me understand this and correct the problem? Thanks in advance... M

You don't need a code of request to connect to the internet. Your printer has wifi support? Connect the printer to your router wireless first, then you can access ePrint.

  • Windows 7 cannot connect to internet Bootcamp

Hi all! Now, I know that there have been many discussions going around all sorts of places on this issue, but the sad part is that I could not well answer truly adapted to my situation. So first off, I got my windows 7 with bootcamp on my macbook 13' pro a week ago and the internet worked perfectly well. But I had problems putting games on the windows section, so I removed the partition and re-bootcamped windows 7 once again. This time, my game worked perfectly, but now internet cannot connect at all. The only difference between the different times that I partitioned the laptop, this is the second time that I actually put the OS disk in because the first time I forgot. If all the drivers and others have been installed at the second time around.

When I try to connect to the internet and troubleshooting it said only that "wireless isn't a valid IP configuration" I do not completely understand. And the funny thing is that I have about 3 other computers using the same router everything on windows 7 with absolutely no problem. I tried rebooting the machine and the router, enter the network name and password manually, refresh and reversing the network card and a few other unnecessary things. However, I don't have a Hello on my computer and I don't know if I really needed, because it seems like that was a problem.

Sorry for the words really not technical, but I am not that computer savvy, especially with regard to such things. I'd appreciate any help, thank you in advance!

You have installed the Windows drivers instead of Apple's Boot Camp drivers. Start with step 18:

  • Satellite C660-1CZ cannot connect to my wireless router

    Hello comrades,.

I have a problem to connect to my wireless router.
We have 3 notebooks here at home, and all are able to connect.
But my Toshiba laptop cannot connect. I don't know why...
The latest drivers are installed for RTL8188CE.
I'm sure it's the latest driver from 2011.

    My operating system is Windows7.
I bought yesterday and tried everthing to connect with my easybox 802.
I also changed some settings on the router.
    Can someone help me pls?

On other laptops, the SSID of the router's Easybox-D77327, but my Toshiba shows just Easybox-D57327.
Its not the same SSID but the router is good.
In my view, the problem is that my laptop shows me a bad SSID of the router, but how to solve the problem...?

  • Computer Vista laptop cannot connect to new wireless router

I had the laptop for about a year and a half, and he has a history of being pretty skittish about the wireless connection.  Often he simply refuses to do so.  During vacation last year, for example, the other three laptops connected family easily to wi - fi hotel, but mine has refused to.  There are a lot of other moments when the laptop could not connect, but I was able to connect to two most important places - home and work - without much trouble, and so I haven't looked too hard to solve the problems of connection up to now.

This week, I replaced the router in my original configuration.  The old Netgear router kept giving up the connection between her and my ISP.  The new Linksys router looks rock solid in this regard.  I have a desktop running XP computer that is wired to the new router Linksys, and he sees the internet very well.  My laptop Vista unable to connect (wireless), however.  He sees the network with a lot of intensity of the signal, and it tries to connect.  I get a message saying that the connection takes longer than usual, and then another message saying 'connected.'  However, I do not have internet access, and I see other devices (just the XP desktop, really) on the network.  The Network and Sharing Center shows my laptop connected to the 'unidentified network', and then there is a red X between this network and the Internet (represented by a grey globe).  Laptop computer signals its 'access' as "local only".

From the desktop, I can access the internet, so the router is connected to the points upstream.  From the desktop, I can also access the router configuration pages, and I see that it does not list the laptop as a dhcp client, even if the laptop thinks that it is connected.

ipconfig on laptop computer displays a wacky IPv4 address: 169.254.2.91 and I guess that the laptop does not get an address passed to the router.  I think that there should be a 192.168. *. * address if it worked properly.

Now, I was pretty sure my laptop's wireless adapter to work properly.  It always connects to the old router and it always connects to the work.  But to be sure and really test the new router, I went out and bought another USB adapter wireless.  When I plug it into the computer to Office XP, the Office connects to the router and can see the internet (even with the connection cable is disconnected).  So the new router and the new wireless USB adapater properly.  When I plug the USB wireless adapter into the laptop, the laptop still can't connect and still not get a good ip address assigned by the router.

I've been at this for a few days now, and I could really use some help.  I read a few items in the Microsoft forums that was supposed to fix the problem.  One of them told me to try to start a program called DHCP in the Administrative Tools folder.  I do not have this program on my computer.  Another told me manually change my registry (ouch!) and add a new DWORD value, and set its value to 1.  I did, but it did not fix the problem.

I would be very grateful for any help.

    Jim

Alright.  I am home to work and back again.  I have read several posts with people reporting problems similar to mine, so I guess I'm not alone in this.  In a thread, the experts proposed to start in Mode safe mode with networking.  So I gave that a shot.  I still couldn't really connect - just this 'local only' without an assigned IP address.

One thing I did notice, is that my laptop brand and its wireless adapter seem to get a special mention in most positions.  I have a HP Compaq Presario CQ50 Notebook PC running Vista Home Premium SP2, 32-bit version (even if the processor is 64-bit).  The wireless adapter is an Atheros AR5007.  Several other people with this card have reported problems.  Maybe it's the cause?

I look into updating the driver for the card, even if yesterday's test with the separate USB wireless adapter showed that the problem could not just be limited to the Atheros card.  To search for a driver update, I connect my laptop to the router with an ethernet cable.  It's nice to see the web on your laptop.  No update driver does.

For fun, I try to establish a wireless connection with the router, while the wired connection is still in place.  Looks like maybe it worked?  I say a little prayer and unplug the ethernet cable...

It's a miracle!  I have a wireless connection to the router and beyond, to the internet.  Huzzah!

The network has a real name, too, instead of just 'unidentified network '.  I want to change the network type from the public to the private, which I was unable to do while he was still 'unidentified '.

Can I terminate the connection so that I can see what happens when I try to reconnect.

Another miracle!  It connects to and still see the internet.  Callooh!  Colay!

Next test: see what happens after a reboot... (please, please, please)...

    Ch-ching!  It works again!

Final (?) test: reinstall the McAffee internet security suite and restart.

    And it still works.

    Here's a recap of what I found:
    1. laptop could not connect wireless router again, despite dozens of attempts in which I get every available straw
    2. laptop computer could see the internet when connected to the router
    3. laptop could connect wirelessly to the router while the wired connection is in place
    4. Once this first wireless, laptop computer was able to connect to the router even when the wired connection has been removed and the computer restarts

I would describe my discovery above as a work-around rather than as a solution, however.  It does not always help me stay connected the next time I'm on vacation, for example.  But perhaps the information I provided can help experts to diagnose the real problem a little.

I look forward to hear something back.

    Jim

  • WRT400n cannot connect to Internet after outage

We had a power failure, the other day, and now the wireless router unable to connect to the internet. Network Magic shows that there is no connection of the appliance to the internet. I tried to fix it with Network Magic, but wasn't able to fix it.

My PC is directly connected to the wireless device, by LAN cable. If I connect the PC directly to my DSL router, I can connect to the internet, but not if I connect to the wireless router and from there to my DSL router. I tried to reset the router by default wire and then go to http://wrt400n.com and reset the security settings on the router. But Network Magic still shows the bad internet connection.

I tried resetting the default router again and install it from scratch using the installation CD but which has not as well. I'm not at home right now so can't remember exactly how it was but I think it was either when the installation wizard tried to detect the device or install the device.

This is the second time I had to reset my router because of the blackout. Last time I could make it work by doing the first steps above.

    Thanks for any help.

You mentioned in your message that your ISP is DSL. So here's the link for the establishment of a Linksys router for DSL Internet connection: http://www6.nohold.net/Cisco2/ukp.aspx?vw=1&docid=20ee1457387f40178cd5f41d4b585db4_3687.xml&pid=80&r...

    Settings wireless #Adjust the following:

    ~ ~ Reduced from 100 to 75 beacon interval

~ ~ Lower the threshold of fragmentation of 2346 to 2306

  • PC companion cannot connect to internet

It's been three weeks now & I tried to re - install PC Companion & which did not help.

    (1) impossible to check updates as "the server is not accessible.  PC companion needs to connect to an online server.  The server is currently not accessible.  Please try again later. »

    (2) area sync not working either cannot connect - "synchronization failed.  An error has occurred and the synchronization has been cancelled.  Synchronize again to correct errors".   Or if not, maybe.

Is there a solution?  Why are there not any help on troubleshooting?

    Thank you

Looks like you have something blocking PC Companion to connect to internet. Most likely, it is a firewall that is configured to block our software. I suggest that you check your firewall settings to make sure that it is allowed it.

  • Unable to connect to Internet through router WRT400N.

I was able to connect to the Internet via the wireless, but not today it stopped working (without computers can connect if not just my wireless). I am able to connect to the Wireless router and update the parameters, I am able to connect to the wired router and change the settings. I am able to connect to the Internet by plugging directly into the modem and using this same cable I plug it into the router and then no internet. I don't know what to do anymore as I power cycled many times. Any help will be great. Also - all lights seem to be lighting up as usual.

Who is your Internet service provider?

You can access the Internet when you connect the computer directly to the modem. This means that the modem works fine.

Connect the modem to the Internet port and the computer on the Ethernet port on the router.

Open the router configuration page and check the settings of the router's Internet connection.

Follow this link to configure the router with cable Internet service.
