Cannot connect to Windows 8 - have already changed password in attempt to challenge - what happens if I reset?

I had the same problem with connecting to Windows 8 described by a number of people.  My password works on Outlook, but not on my new computer.  (It worked yesterday).  I tried to re - set the password twice before looking at this forum.  I have another installed keyboard and do not turn Webroot, so that these questions do not contribute.  If I reset my laptop (suggests the next step only if the other 2 questions were not factors), the password will be different from what I changed the to in my other two attempts to access my computer.  How will this work?  I feel that I can't change my password in a previous.  Who will be the correct password for my accounts, that you initially entered when I configured my laptop and Outlook yesterday, or the more recent that I changed my Outlook account for today?

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ken,

Check if you type the correct password. Use the magic eye to reveal the password in plain text before you press "connect".

I as you suggested to organize the main windows and press space to select the language of the keyboard and then try entering the password (try the old and the new password).  If the keyboard layout is changed, you can enter the wrong password.

If reset you Windows, you will need for the account user to Setup again. You will need to log in using the last password that you have changed.

Important: When you reboot your PC, you will lose any important data to the PC.

Hope this information helps. If the problem persists, we will be happy to help you.
