Cannot create a data file with a size of less than 1000 M

Thanks for the help and sorry for my English

Hello

The answer may lie in the INITIAL_EXTENT configuration in your space of tables, check DBA_tablespaces view.

Also, try to use autoextend on and maxsize in your file data creation but better try with the highest value during the action of the mentioned error.

Kind regards

  • ORA-01157: cannot identify/lock data file 6

    I work for a school district and recently ran into problems with writing data in a database by using ASP.

    Background:
    We are currently running Oracle Database 11 g Release 11.1.0.6.0 - 64 bit Production With the Real Application Clusters on Linux systems option.

    We have a workable tablespace/database using our system of management of the school called "Genesis." There is no problem reading, writing or deletion of records through this site web-based application.

    Problem:
    I wrote a few ASP pages that read from the 'background' database tablespace that works reliable. The problem is that I created a new tablespace/user/database with two tables that I write for.

    If I run a test trying to add new records via my ASP page Let's say 5 times, it cannot work more than 3 of those times.

    The error I get is as follows:

    Error Automation Oracle '800a01b8 '.

    Data retrieval error, ORA-01157: cannot identify/lock data file 6 - see the file trace DBWR ORA-01110: data file 6: ' / u01/app/oracle/product/11.1.0/db_1/dbs/ORCL_GENESIS'

    / Parent_Portal/Confirmation.asp, line 40

    Looking at the knowledge base (Article NOTE: 268061.1) mentions that there are maybe not ebough available file descriptors. We increase the amount, the same results.

    Also, if it's important, it's the code that I use to write to the database:

    Set OraSession = CreateObject ("OracleInProcServer.XOraSession")
    Set OraDatabase = OraSession.OpenDatabase ("ORCL" _
    (' Username/password name', cint (0))

    Set OraDynaset = OraDatabase.CreateDynaset ("SELECT * FROM PARENT_PORTAL.") (The STUDENTS", cint (0))

    OraDynaset.AddNew
    OraDynaset.Fields ("Email"). Value = strEmail
    OraDynaSet.Fields ("STUDENTID"). Value = strStudentID
    OraDynaset.Update

    Set OraDynaset = OraDatabase.CreateDynaset ("SELECT * FROM PARENT_PORTAL.") (Accounts", cint (0))

    OraDynaset.AddNew
    OraDynaset.Fields ("Email"). Value = strEmail
    OraDynaset.Fields ("LASTNAME"). Value = strPLName
    OraDynaset.Fields ("FIRSTNAME"). Value = strPFName
    OraDynaSet.Fields ("PHONE"). Value = strPhone
    OraDynaset.Update

    Set OraSession = Nothing

    Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    A database is the database files.
    An instance is all the processes running on a node.
    To the CARS, you have 2 (or more) of the instances that are running on 2 nodes (or more) to access the same database simultaneously.
    A node can go down or die or be shot in the head, but the database continues to be available through the second instance on the other node. This is the reason for all of the CARS.

    I'm trying to recover the database in waiting, but it gives the error below.

    ORA-00283: cool cancelled due to errors
    ORA-01124: cannot retrieve the data file 1 - file is in use or recovery, the recovery is already said

    When I checked in the alert log recovery is not started. and later I hae given ' alter database recover Cancel "and the command to meet with the threshold.

    "media recovery has not started.

    It seems that the recovery was stuck between the two.
    Please advise me how to kill the recovery session that is stuck. because I don't want to bounce the database pending.

    Thanks in advance.

    Dataguard and MRP, you run a script before.

    In a standby scripted, a session to RETRIEVE the DATABASE would an UNTIL clause (SEQUENCE up to THAT most likely). At the end of the recovery at this point (SEQUENCE #), he left and stop at the database.

    In addition, the script is such that when a RECOVERY session is active, another session is not authorized to start. It can loop in pending state or go out and do it again the next scheduled interval.

    Apparently your startup script is not strong enough to prevent another session of RECOVERY to start even though the first is active (or it doesn't have a good up to THAT clause and stop, exit, closing stocks)

    What you have is a custom implementation of a database of pending. Without all the details of the script, the 'blocking' between sessions (to avoid a second RECOVER start when one is already running) etc... We can't really do much to help you.
    Your scripts must be standing with status information. It should be possible for you to discover the 'other' sqlplus session which emanates a DATABASE to RECOVER, but not yet out (p. ex... How about a simple "ps - ef |") grep sql' and ' ps - ef | combination of grep ora"?)

    When I create a new file with 500px wide by long 500px it appears on my screen like a rectangle. When I go to Image > Image size it still shows the 500 x 500 image and yet is clearly not a square. This also occurs if I try to create a circle, select the ellipse a tool by checking the box so he could make a perfect circle it appears as an oval.

    I have Photoshop CS6 on a macbook.

    Any help would be appreciated, I consider myself decently well informed in Photoshop and I looked in the settings, but I can't seem to understand the issue, happened for awhile now, it is not something unique stroke of luck.

  • empty data file with special characters in the name

    Hi all

    I'm having a problem with an empty data file which is in recovery mode.

    Before the following has been a success:
    ALTER database create datafile 'fully_qualified_file_name' as 'fully_qualified_file_name ';
    recover data file "fully_qualified_file_name";
    ALTER database datafile 'fully_qualified_file_name' online;

    But this time it does not work as I get an error:
    ORA-01516: file nonexistent journal, data file, or temporary file
    Using the file id does not work either.

    When I created a record of control file I see the data file has special characters in the name:
    ' / oracle/PRD/112_64/dbs/PSPR3I ^? ^?'

    Since it is empty, it would be possible to create the data file void anothr
    using the:
    ALTER database create datafile ' / oracle/PRD/112_64/dbs/PSPR3I ^? ^?'
    as ' / oracle/PRD/spdata2/r3i_8/r3i.data8';

    and then recover datafile 'fully_qualified_file_name ';
    ALTER database datafile 'fully_qualified_file_name' online;

    How orders oracle faced with special characters?

    Thanks for your advice

    It should work using a file as the definition of source file number and a new name for the new file. Works for me:

    orcl> alter database create datafile 7 as 'c:\tmp\newname.dbf';

    Database altered.

  • action with the new file with the size of the selection

    Hello

    I try to record an action that takes a copy of the image and creates a new file with the same dimensions. The action record always have the size of the file of the new hardcoded image inside. I tried to put the Preset in the Clipboard, but this is not recorded in the action. It is with the CS3 version.

    How can I create a new file that takes into account the size of the image?

    Thanks for your help,

    Daniel

    You can save the menu 'Image-duplicate"to make a copy of the entire image without registration of the size. If the doc doesn't have only one layer, you can also save the context menu in the layer panel to duplicate the layer to a new document. The size is not saved.

  • I'm trying to create a PDF file with several signature lines in that anyone can "Sign" by using their digital signature CAC (Common Access Card) active. The goal is to have a single document that people can open, sign on a designated line and save the doc

    I'm trying to create a PDF file with several signature lines in that anyone can "Sign" by using their digital signature CAC (Common Access Card) active. The goal is to have a single document that people can open, sign on a designated line and save the document (replacing the existing document) and close. Then another person can open the same document digitally sign another area of the form, save it, and close it. So on, and so on. Is there a way to do this? At the end of the day, I would end up with a PDF file with literally hundreds of signatures to enable different ACC everywhere...

    I don't understand what the problem is. In the post of the davidr96549424 on May 8, 2015 07:58 you presented a structure of a correct document. Is the issue of the creation of this structure in a PDF file? For this, you will need an Acrobat, not reader.

    XI in Acrobat, select Tools-> forms-Edit. Click 'No' on the form fields 'detect '. In the tasks Panel that opens, click on "add new field". Select "Digital Signature" and move it to the location in the document where you want to than the appearance of the signature to be. Repeat that for signature fields as you want. Users will sign by clicking on the prepared unsigned signature field which shows the dialog box "sign. Do not forget that as TSN has noted that a digital signature applies to the entire document. The entry in the document where it is is irrelevant. Each next signature covers all previous signatures.

    Your users can also sign a document from anywhere that they want without signature fields already prepared. For this select fill & sign-> work with certificates and the type of signing you want to sign up with. A dialog box that will tell you a rectangle for the appearance of signature rises and after you draw the rectangle of the dialog 'Sign' rises.

    PDF/Acrobat doesn't have a limit on a number of signatures in a PDF document. But! Don't forget that when you open a PDF file with Acrobat/Reader signatures valid all of them and takes time (several seconds - until 10 - for every signature), so if you have several signatures of dozens of their validation open can take a long time.

    I don't know how build you your workflow so that each person signs the same PDF and saves it. Economy runs on the same computer where the PDF is stored. You'll have to decide how to allow different people to have access to the same PDF. They, of course, you may sign this only one-at-a-time PDF.

  • Cannot open the project file with write access.

    I saw that this problem has been reported before, but have yet to find a solution.

    I have my project file in an external hard drive.  When I plug the hard drive to another computer and want to save it, I get this message:

    "Cannot open the project file with write access.  The file may be locked, or you don't have permission to write to this location.  Select Save as... »

    I don't want to register as because other projects refer to this file and also my file is still going to be ruined.

    FYI two computers use Windows 7.

    All solutions?

    Right-click on the folder in Question and select Properties. Select tab security make sure you that you then add everyone to the list of users. Do you this by selecting edit and then add. Type in all members of the section of the object, and click ok. Then select all the user and check full control. Press Apply and we'll adjust the permissions for the folder and subfolders and files.

  • ID of file of the data file created using CREATE the DATA file

    Version: 10 gr 2

    I lost a test data file that was created in the morning. No available backup. I have all logs archived.

    Question1.
    Here are the steps to recreate. Right?
    1. alter tablespace <tablespace_name> offline immediate;  --- should this be offline drop?
    2. alter database create datafile '/u03/oradata/dbtst/CLM01.dbf';
    3. recover tablespace <tablespace_name>;
    4. alter tablespace <tablespace_name> online;
    Question2.
    The newly created file will retain the ID file from the original file that was lost?

    Since you're on 10g, you have not manually create the data file. Check recovery of a Datafile without backup lost: example for more details.

    The identifier must remain the same.
