  Not the answer you want, but you could set up your quick customer with an ftp upload which would replace the existing pdf. I use Transmit and it would allow your customer to simply drag and drop on a folder.

  Is there a way to restrict certain elements of the page being changed with editing in the browser?

  For example, my client has a coffee shop and need to update their daily lives of daily promotions. I do not want to make changes in other areas of the site for fear that they may "goof things upwards" (for lack of better term).

  The site is hosted on Business Catalyst? If yes then you can create roles and assign access permissions that will limit their access to the pages or modules added to the end of BC.

  Muse has created text or images can be changed by site admin users, only if the content are created through the end of BC as photo gallery or Articles etc. can be managed with a restricted access.

  Hello! I can't edit in the browser. The website is transferred to an FTP host and I'm editing of the site with inbrowserediting.adobe.com.

  The desktop version works great – when I fly over areas of text, I get the blue highlight and 'Edit' button, etc - but when you view the versions of the Tablet and phone I can't modify any text or replace images at all. It just seems to view the site with no editing features.

  We have also received your request for support on this issue and we are now looking at the issue.

  It is probably related to a custom HTML Widget, which performs the slide in animation for the pages of the Tablet and phone, somehow affecting the functionality of the editor.

  One thing that I was invited by my clients is the ability to create and edit hyperlinks by editing in the browser. The document that describes the features of the browser installation - http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-3201 - shows the possibility of edit links. Is this something that will be added in the future to Muse?

  If I use BC to host my site for a client what amateurs they can do with 'in the browser"edition.  They cannot change text and existing images or they can add content.  I have clients who want to be able to add new photos on their own.  Are there other options for them to do?

• Photo Gallery can reorganize in subcategories + added new images through editing in the browser

  I'm looking for a photo gallery that has the ability to rearrange the images displayed from the subcategories or tags. For example, I want to add a gallery which contains pictures, a projects of clients. The client wants to visitors of the site to be able to mix the Gallery to display only e.g. 'stone walls' or 'wood decking. A system of marking would be useful rather than having to load the pictures in each subcategory.

  The other consideration is that my client should be able to add new images with labels using the browser via Business Catalyst. So far, I've only managed by replacing the existing images rather than adding new images.

  Y at - it such widget for Muse or is there any other widgets wordp interested or another that could be incorporated into the work dot.

  If I'm not mistaken, basically you want to provide users an option to select the category of images as they appear on the page.

  Muse, we cannot tag or categorize, also the module of British Colombia Photo Gallery does not provide this option, but there is a solution with web applications.

  You can create a web application and web then elements app in the form of images and then rank them. When page inserting the web application with the categories drop down, so when users select the category these items in web application would show on the page. In addition, you can add custom Web app fields to search using the keyword.

  With the edition, customers can connect to BC admin, then using the photo gallery or web app (if used) module to edit images, add new ones. IBE cannot be used to add new ones, but to replace existing ones.

  I have completed the customer site of Muse and have downloaded on its external host without problem.

  In the site properties, enable editing in the browser is on.

  When I use the same external ftp site you want to connect, I get this:

  

  As my clients technician COMPUTER hosts many sites, I asked him to create a unique login for my client.

  If I try to upload the Web site by using this single connection, it is said that the 'folder does not appear to connect to site' & is not that recent changes are not displayed.

  Technician COMPUTER does not know what else to do...

  I'm a designer using Muse, as I have almost no idea re.code. Please can you help me?

  Could you describe a little more how you or your customer download site?

  With most FTP servers, in order to download your Web site correctly, you must set the name of the subfolder on your server, as the root of your FTP space is probably not the root of your site. On most of the servers, it is a folder named "www" or "htdocs" or another mysterious name.

• Edited PDF form will be not updated for editing from the browser.

  So I was sent a form that I had previously made editable has been changed and I had to add checkboxes and text boxes. After registration and in the browser window, new fields, I added are not allowing me to enter or check them in the browser, but when I open the PDF in Acrobat Pro, all fields are appearing. Is there a special way to save the pdf file to make editable in the browser? I did it once before, and it worked fine so it's a mystery to me at the moment. Any help is greatly appreciated!

  I agree with TSN thought that it's a browser problem, such as the MAC preview. I opened your link in my browser and it worked fine.

  I see on the features of Contribute page there is a Contribute toolbar that allows editing in the browser... I installed contribute, but I do not see the toolbars in Chrome or IE...

  How this set up?

  I think that it is compatible with IE and Firefox. In Internet Explorer, try tools > manage add-ons and see if it is disabled.

  I have a question, however, I am currently designing a website for a client who would like to have in the edition browser available in order to update the text and photo.  I work for a company with their own COMPUTER gurus who will be the host of the Web site. Is it possible to enable editing in the browser without using Business catalyst or having the site hosted by adobe?  If this is not the case, this is a feature that is eventually added to Muse in the very near future?

  I am changing a laptop Windows XP Pro using the converter software 4.0.1.
