Cannot create the emanagement recovery disks

Hello, I have an acer aspire one d255 I want to reset to factory default. I never did an installation of a recovery particion before this thought I'd better create discs of backup just in case.

I have found the directions to create the disks, but whenever I select 'create disc factory default "I get the following message.

"

Configuration of the hard drive is not set by default. Abandoned backup.

The only hardware change I did via the MMC disk management, I declined the c drive and made a particion of data storage.

What is causing me to not be able to make the discs?

more importantly, I'm likely to encounter a problem to make the recovery disk reset, if she can't create discs?

If you don't have all the data your new partition created yet, simply expand the disk partition hard back to the State of origin and create more complex recovery disks.

Hope that helps, good luck

I tried 3 or 4 times, brand new DVD each time. Any ideas?

    Hi zombi71,

What brand of DVD that you've already used? These burning questions can be linked to the mediums of poor quality so it s recommended using mediums high quality only. I have pretty good experience with Verbatim and TDK discs and especially with the DVD-R DVD + R. So I would recommend Verbatim DVD-R. With this brand, it was possible to create the mediums of recovery on my laptop. :)

Here's another suggestion that may help.

Start Notepad and let Windows load completely.  Hold down the Windows key and press R.  For the run box, type msconfig and press ENTER.  In the System Configuration window, click the Startup tab, uncheck the box next to each startup item and then click on apply to apply the change.  Restart the computer and see if you can now get 3 disc to burn and check - as I suggested earlier, if it creates all the other disks before starting the window System Configuration and re - allows objects of start - stop and try again.

I had deleted the recovery partition due to the boot mgr error.

    preinstalled operating system: Windows 8.1

I also ordered two sets of hp recovery disk but both shows same error (boot mgr) but yesterday I can't yet to open hp recovery disk recovery system by press F11, even I try to change the secure start setting to start legacy BIOS but failed to open the system recovery

    What do I do now?

    Hello

Thanks for posting in the HP Support forum.

If you have ordered a recovery media (disks Win 8.1), there is no need to press F11 as it comes to the built-in recovery partition and options.

Instead, you need to insert the disc 1 and started using F9

    Here are the details:

1 Please, insert the recovery media 1 into the DVD from PC drive

    2. shut down the computer using the power button

    3. turn the computer back ON

3.1 as soon as you press the power button, start immediately by pressing the Esc key (such as tap-tap-tap).

This should open a HP Boot Menu that can resemble the following

    4. press on / choose F9

and select start in the DVD disk drive.

    Follow the on-screen instructions. Details

  • Re: Is it possible to create the current configuration of the software recovery disk?

I recently bought A350. Next to the standard software provided by Toshiba, I bought and installed other products such as Norton Internet Security, update all drivers, etc..
Is it possible to create a recovery disc on my current setup of the software?

I know the recovery disk, but it will only restore the original configuration of the software. I don't want to go through all the pain of installing other products and update all the drivers.

I have been using other software like Acronis Disk recovery, but I don't know this recovery cd created by these third party software can be used.

    Everyone has known about this?

    Hello!

Boyfriend sorry but it is not possible to create a recovery disc with the current configuration of your software. The Toshiba Recovery disk contains the factory settings and t, you can integrate additional software to the image.

If you want a picture of your laptop with your special software, you need to use another program like Acronis image. So you can make an image of your HARD drive with all your settings and software.

  • I can create a system recovery disk that gets installed and updated Windows 7, not the preinstalled HP Vista recovery Partition?

I have a laptop HP HDX 18 that had 64-bit Windows Vista installed, with a Vista recovery on his C drive Partition.  Since then, I installed clean 64-bit Windows 7 Professional of his Microsoft licensed DVD, that I still have.  I kept with all (200 +) of Windows updates.

Now, I want to create a system (Flash drive) for this laptop recovery disk, but my concern is that he will lead the recovery in its Partition Vista original, installed at the factory.   If I use W7 administration tools installed to create a system recovery disc, it will recover the old Windows Vista or Windows 7?  In addition, it would be nice to have a system recovery disk that had the latest W7.

I'm not looking to install the drive link below; However, I prefer the system recovery disk to restore my laptop to its W7 system most recently updated, rather than start over.

What choices do I have?  Where can I find the appropriate instructions?

  • Cannot complete the reinstallation of Vista on Compaq laptop using the Compaq recovery disks. Tried to restore disk oem and new close to identical road. Errors: 0xc00000e9 and 0xc0000189 respectively

With no unusual occurrence that accompanies it, our laptop was able to start and would not initialize anything beyond a screen B & W style BACK and gave the first error (0xc0000e9) on this screen. After several unsuccessful reboots insert us the Compaq recovery disks and crossed the recovery (only full optional with such discs.) At the end of the transfer of recovery (from DVD on computer), the computer tried to restart and reported the same error message. We have seen anything past the transfer of files and B & W on the oem disk. I think the oem HD is bad. Web-surfing suggested the error was associated with a hardware failure and the DVD drive seems to work very well I bought a new HD almost identical to replace the oem version with. Both are Seagate Momentus 160 GB at 5400 RPM drives.

I re-inserted the recovery with the new installed hard drive disks and it loaded and seemed basically completely install Windows (computer is restored running several times and showed the Windows desktop with sequential programs etc. facilities.)

To restart the final success, I received an error message in the sense of "windows could not install: Please restart the installation process" and the 0xc000189 error code. I tried again and the result was identical, including the error message. In the process the emblazoned shortcut labeled sunflower administrator with "locked" below briefly appears before the above error appears above him. Navigation on the Web seems to suggest I've hit some kind of security problem that appears when an oem auto-installer is used. He was never a password of any kind on the laptop of our family, if there is one, it should be of Compaq.

It's an authentic (not stolen etc) oem new install of Windows (the laptop is only 18 months old) and I CD code on the computer but not the case in the installation me I asked for it. I don't know what you looking for installation.

I'm very confused and any help would be appreciated. Compaq is saying it's a matter of Windows of course.

  • DBCA cannot create the database in 12 c in Windows

    Hello

After the installation of Oracle 12 c on R2 Windows Server 2012 and successfully running the netca command to configure the listener, I run with the DBCA tool question

It throws an error message of "Recovery Manager could not restore the data files"

I looked at the log files, here is some information:

Corrupt block 1 found during the backup piece, reading file=C:\ORACLE\PRODUCT\12.1\DBHOME_1\ASSISTANTS\DBCA\TEMPLATES\SEED_DATABASE. DFB, corr_type = 4

Review of blocknum = 1, file=C:\ORACLE\PRODUCT\12.1\DBHOME_1\ASSISTANTS\DBCA\TEMPLATES\SEED_DATABASE. DFB, found the same corrupted data

Not sure if this helps, but I am attaching several log files to help debug the problem.

I read the post DBCA cannot create the database in 12 c, but it doesn't quite have an answer.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you

    Pranav

Looks like a bad installation or a bad block on your disk. Have you tried creative using the "Custom Database" model in the wizard dbca (one that does not come with the data files)? It will take more time to create, but shouldn't read the dbca reported as corrupted file

  • ORA-19504: cannot create the file '+ DATA '.

    Hello everyone.

    This is the scenario:

We have a test server that is used to restore daily backups of the Production database. Restore us the database with the same SID as the production one.

For specific reasons, we need create a second database (with a different SID) on this server with an older backup from the production one. To realize that I'm trying to use a part of the "DUPLICATE without connection to the target" tutorials on the web.

The first mistake of the stack was ORA-19504 while trying to restore the backup of the database.

First thing I took a glance was ASM occupation but it enough available space.

The second was a permission problem, but it doesn't seem to be the case because RMAN can correctly write the controlfile to ASM.

One have some advice on what I should look for?

Thanks in advance sorry for my English.

    Select this option.

    Hello.

Thanks, but is not the case. As I have said, that the DATA diskgroup has space enough he uses only a single disk in a RAID.

But I solved my problem... To the auxiliary database, I added the following to the spfile:

    DB_FILE_NAME_CONVERT = '+ DATA/ProdDB', '+ DATA/OlderDB ".

    LOG_FILE_NAME_CONVERT = '+ DATA/ProdDB', '+ DATA/OlderDB ".

I don't know why, but with these two clauses, it worked well. Perhaps RMAN was trying to restore it to the wrong place?

  • Cannot find the partition recovery on the Satellite A200-1BP

    Hello

First of all, I have a Vista Home Premium 1BP A200 and I lost the product recovery disc and I want to create one with "Recdisc.exe" product of Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator or Vista.

They both failed because I didn't get a message "No disk HARD recovery Area!", then I looked in the "Disk management" section and could not find any partition without a name.

There were two primary Partition which were 1.46 GB 'in good condition (EISA Configuration)"and my Vista (c).
So, what should I do? Can I create a recovery partition?
Or can I set the Recovery Disc Creator? (v. 5.0.0.5)

PS: I got my computer several times with my CD, which probably used my recovery partition.
Seriously, I'm out of ideas and I don't want to lose 50 dollars just to get another copy of disc PR.

PS2: I used press '0' and 'F8' thing too, they no longer work.
Is there a way I can restore without any disk?

It seems that the recovery of HARD drive partition is missing
The first 1.46 GB partition is automatically created by Vista and the C partition is the system partition, the partition of HARD drive recovery doesn't seem to be available

    > PS: I got my computer several times with my CD, which probably used my recovery partition.
Retrieve you the Vista using the recovery disc or what drive did you use?

If you have installed the system using Microsoft Vista disk then, it was a big mistake because it deleted the partition of HARD drive

    > Is there a way I can restore without any disk?
Either you use a Vista MS disk and missing drivers, which you can download from the Toshiba page or you order the Toshiba Recovery disk don't see another solution

You can create a clean Toshiba Recovery disk using the Toshiba recovery disc creator software.
Its preinstalled on your laptop and after the creation of the recovery disk you can use for installing the OS.

The Toshiba Recovery disk will NOT request a floppy disk!
