Temporary files because they are are temporary and can be deleted safely. Of course, when you remove cookies from Web sites that you visit often preventing login/password information and then you will have to re-enter.

The only time where it is not recommended to delete the temporary files is when you install a program, and if this program always needs to restart to complete the installation.

It is rare that any who save their important data in temporary since the temp files folders are always flushed when the user run CCleaner or all files temporary cleaner.

  • Cannot delete the plist file system.

My Time Machine is not automatically back up my drive. He worked for some time (don't know why) and then stops working automatically. I tried to implement the procedure laid down by Linc Davis, delete the file com.apple.TimeMachine.plist, but make the message: 'com.apple.TimeMachine.plist' cannot be changed or deleted because it is required by OS X.  I tried to change the permissions in the file information window to include Administrator Read and Write (only has this permission system. Using the terminal window and sudo rm command produces the same message.

Question: How can I delete the plist file?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

A bug in OS X 10.11.1 prevents automatic backups that happens when a desktop Mac (iMac, Mac mini or Mac Pro) is connected to a UPS (UPS) with the USB feature.

Please, back up all data before proceeding.

First, check the App Store for a later update to OS X. If it is available when you read this review, install it and see if the problem is resolved. I speak not beta versions.

Otherwise, you can work around the bug as follows.

These must be run as administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.

Please triple - click anywhere in the line below on this page to select:

sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/com.apple.TimeMachine RequiresACPower 0

Copy the selected text in the Clipboard by pressing Control-C key combination.

Launch the Terminal application integrated in one of the following ways:

☞ Enter the first letters of his name in a Spotlight search. Select from the results (it should be at the top).

☞ In the Finder, select go utilities ▹ of menu bar or press the combination of keys shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.

Paste in the Terminal window by pressing the command-V key combination. I tested these instructions only with the Safari browser. If you use another browser, you may need to press the return key after pasting. You will be asked for your login password. Nothing displayed when you type. Type carefully, and then press return. If you do not have a password, you will need to configure one before you can run the command. You can get a warning to be careful. Confirm. You don't need to display the warning.

If you see a message that your user name "is not in the sudoers file", then you have not logged as an administrator. Log in as one and start over.

Wait for a new line ending with a dollar sign ($) below what you entered. You can then quit Terminal.

    Restart the computer and test.

  • Cannot delete the downloaded file.

I made a simple upload form and try to use the cffile to download, rename, and delete the original file. Thus, the process goes like this.

Step 1: The user will browse their computer to capture the image they would like to download (ex: picture1.jpg). then click on the button transfer.

Step 2: Use a cffile which would be to download the file. (picture1.jpg)

Step 3: Other cffile to rename the original to the user ID picture that I have in the database. (renamed in 1 ".jpg")

Step 4: Then another cffile to delete the original picture file, so there is only 1 picture, which is that of the renowned cffile. (on server, deleted picture1.jpg 1.jpg)

  • Cannot delete the program files x 86

    Hello
I upgraded from Windows Vista to Windows 7 32 bit 64 bit.

This is still a Program Files x 86 folder that I am trying to get rid. I managed to remove most of the files, and I was able to change the permission of owner so I can delete some other files.

However, no matter how I change ownership and permission, I am unable to remove Adobe files and common files.

    Thanks for your suggestions, tips.

You still need the x 86 folder.  If it was the 32-bit "remains", he would have the x 86 in the name of the folder.  This file is required and is used by many points of 32 bits, which are present in the base 64-bit OS, as objects of assistance of the browser plugins like flash and all the 32-bit programs you run (as all programs in the world, almost, like email clients, email programs, media players, etc.).

    Do not delete this folder.
