  If the built-in administrator should be enabled or disabled is really your choice.
  If you decide to keep activated:
  1. give it a password (make a written copy and not to lose).
  2. it MUST not be used on a daily basis.
  3. should your emergency backup Administrator account ONLY.
  4. you must create an account admin with you as an administrator.
  5. the choice is yours. Others will say that you must open a regular user account and use it for every day. If you agree, do.

  I have been using Altium Designer for about 5 months. One day, I tried Eun and got the error "dxp.exe has stopped working.  So, after trying a re-boot.  I have reinstalled the software.  At the end of installation, I get the message "the system administrator has set policies that prevent this facility." The installation then said that the installation has been completed successfully. I tried: unlock all files in the installation directory, run the installation as an administrator, the installation running on the hidden administrator account. Turn off UAC.

  The installation leaves me with a program which runs in hidden administrator but not nromal administrator.  Even if the install ation was made as normal anministrator.

  I am running Windows 7 Home premium, so the control of local security is not available.

  It turns out that my problem was in two parts.  First what killed the software is primarily a print unrelated dirver.  (go figure)  Installation errors were caused because I downloaded the version recient most of the manufacturer's Web site.  When I reinstalled using the old version, the installation was without error.  The software starts to run correctly when the printer driver has been removed.  It seems that windows security was only a Kipper.

• Cannot delete some records even with the hidden administrator account.

  I am trying to delete some files from the registry on USB devices but I can't seem to do anything.
  So far, I've changed ownership of regedit.exe to the administrator and also the folder to administrator approval, but I still get the "error when deleting the keys".

  Just found a solution that has helped me remove these keys for unplugged HW.
  (Kudos to Sc_si here on MSA)

  Open a cmd window:

  Enter: set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices = 1

  then start devmgmt.msc (do not use compmgmt.msc)

  go to discover that select Show hiden devices

  You can see the list of all material never pluged into the computer (gray color), then just uninstall

  to hide the Ribbon of unplugged material set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices = 0

  Better cases are to contact your uncle and get the password. If the antivirus has expired, you should be able to renew it without having to install a new.

  I was not aware that the default Administrator account is so easily accessible if there is no password on it. In my view, a standard user has accessed this and it seems that the computer is having a lot of problems now. Is there a way to tell?   You can't find if someone has consulted and used the default Administrator account in Vista. You will need to set up a password so that no one will be able to access the admin account.
