  I am running Vista Home Premium 32 bit on SP2.

  I just had my McAfee security expires and since I was not able to install security updates.

  I uninstalled McAfee and searched my system to make sure that it is completely gone, then I installed Microsoft Security Essentials.

  I was able to update its definitions of once and since I was not able to do so once again - instead, I get the error message "Virus and Spyware definitions update failed" and the code of error 0x80072efe

  I have since run a full scan of the system and the following were found on my system:

  -Trojan Dropper

  -Trojan notifier

  -Trojan Downloader

  -Virus: Win32/Alureon.H

  It is said that they have been removed - I'm not sure if they have something to do with my problems of system...

  Also my windows update still does not go to download security updates, and it still gives me the same error code.

  Is there a way to fix this?

  You should have uninstalled the McAfee application and download / run the tool to remove McAfee Consumer product and then installed Microsoft Security Essentials before as your McAfee subscription has expired.

  Tried method 2 and that or the fact that I downloaded and installed KB867460 (.NET 1.1 SP1) solved my problem.  After a reboot, run only Windows Update again and the software loading finally.

Help pages for all forms of the default value from Adobe and Firefox are about as useful as waste collection and sat for years. For some reason, my Flash Player decided to stop working. In Firefox, the plug-in is forced to run not because it is obsolete. In the Firefox plug-in Manager, options ask to activate and to never activate are no longer available for me. Always activate continuously in gray, I do not know why. When I try to update Flash Player via the Adobe Web site, the configuration of installation for 18.0.0.209 starts to download the update, but stop about 40 to 50% of the download and claims a failed installation took place and let me to try to resolve the problem, or start over.   I thank very you much for providing the detailed log file.  I see an error and sent logs to the team that manages the online installation program.  If you used the Installer pwillener attached to their position, you should have the latest version of Flash Player installed on your system (18.0.0.209).  If you have not installed 18.0.0.209 (he was released earlier this morning and it is 18.0.0.203 possible has always displayed when you downloaded the Installer) download the installer again (using the pwillener link provided) and upgrade to 18.0.0.209.

  2. do you get an error message when you try to install the Blackberry connection?

  It is possible that another installed 3rd party program or application is causing the conflict with this installation. Also launch Skype on own startup and check.
  You need to perform a clean boot to find the program that is causing and then disable or remove.

  I unfortunately don't have an answer, but we have a very similar problem since 9.2 with our Exchange 2003 server. We also tested with Exchange 2010 and our problem does not exist there, that in 2003, which unfortunately we are bound for the next few months at least until what we have upgraded.

  Our specific problem seems to refer to attachments HTML over a certain size. Apple say they have intensified it to their engineering team.
