  1. navigate to/Library/Application Support / Adobe / OOBE and rename it to OOBE.old

  2. enable the root account: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1528 and connect to root

  3 disable any security software if installed on Mac

  4 delete the opm.db file located at: MAC: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe

  (opm.db file is present in your user library. This library is hidden MAC 10.7 go.

  So in order to locate

  • Click OK at the top
  • Select go to folder
  • type ~/library/
  • This will take you to the library folder, and then you can locate the file opm.db in the Application Support/Adobe)

  5. Download desktop www.creative.adobe.com CC and try to install it. Incase do you not then please check the activity monitor and see if the MAA process is running, if so, then try to kill the process. opm.db file must be deleted in order to process further. WIN 7 and 8 (64-bit):

  • OOBE and rename OOBE_old located in C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe
  • Restart the browser
  • Go to https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud
  • Connect using Adobe ID and password and download the desktop CC application.

  I have four Macs in my house and three of them upgrade 10.11.2 without problem. My Mac Mini, however, does not download the update in the App Store. I tried to restart the App Store that allows about 100 MB to download at once, but then it stops eventually.   If you download the full installer on one of your other Mac, you can copy one Mac to another. The full installer is usually available in the purchased component and download to the folder Apps like install OS X El Capitan.

  The following has worked for me. Went to programs and features in Control Panel. Chosen Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile and click Uninstall/change. Through the option "repair". The update could then be applied successfully.
