Cannot drag to scrub the screen after update tvOS9.2

Since the AppleTV OS updated March 22, 2016 I can drag is no longer on the left and right on the remote control to quickly scrub through the video playback. I can slide left and right through the menus, but as soon as I start to play a video on Netflix, Plex etc, slide sideways does nothing. I tried to reset my AppleTV and update the operating system and it still has the same problem. My remote is fully charged. The only way for me to pass on or recoil during video playback is to hold down the left or right of the remote control (slow process), or ask Siri to ignore the minutes before 15, 20, 30 (or otherwise) which is a huge nuisance. Does anyone else have this problem?

Try pressing and releasing the surface touch first and then scan.  It works for me.

I think it was to avoid sliding involuntary during playback.

  • zBook 14 - cannot change the resolution of the screen after update

After I installed software updates the portable suggested to me, my screen resolution went suddenly from 1900 x 1200 at 1200 x 720 after reboot and it won't let me change it, not even to a lower resolution. I'm very frustrated, because I need the computer week next for visualization work and I really need the screen works well.

It doesn't let me change the resolution. Graphics and display drivers are up-to-date and functioning according to Device Manager. I did a system restore, but that just do everything worse although the resolution worked once again thing, I had to run a repair of the start several times before that my laptop would be starting another property again. This does not resolve the issue, given that the display drivers are not working properly (videos have been viewed very badly) and even after updating the computer won't start again, so I had made another system of recovery and now I'm to the point where I can not change the resolution and starting to be really frustrating. Also, (if it even starts) Windows is constantly freezing, forcing me to hard reboot.

Thanks for any help, that all the world can offer.

This looks like a lot of problems, you have there.

First thing I would say is to do a check of the basic material. Your laptop will be built Diagnostics the F2 button on the HP logo. The hard drive on a test extended (approximately 45 minutes - 2 hours) and the memory test. If these two go, consider downloading of UEFI diagnoses from the above drivers download section. In all honestly, I think this unnecessary step for most, it tells not usually defects that are already not obvious. But he should have a graphics test, if it will throw a failure even if it is faulty is another matter but when even, of a value of a test.
If all else fails, download on the phone for the HP warranty.

If anything fails, run the memory on memtest86 + for about 12 to 24 hours. Download you, it's free, burn it to a cd and the start of it. And it works simply, in case of error, you have a fault memory.

If anything fails on any diags, then nothing is most likely false, cool reimageries windows probably will solve the problem and its probably just a form of spyware or corruption of driver or something. Backup your data, reinstall a new copy of windows.

But in my experience, from doubtful, repairs etc... freezing randomly and other problems are often a sign of a failing hard drive. And diagnostic tests are not always 100% to pick up a failing drive. For the most part, but not always. So, if its still high reading after a reimage, review the reader always a potential source of the problem.

To the extent where it won't let you change the resolution? What you mean? As for the option is grayed out? Can you maybe post a screenshot and a screenshot of your device with the extended graphics card Manager.

  • ThinkPad X 230 Windows 7-64: problems with the screen after updates

    Hi all

I have a problem with the Thinkpad X 230. After a recent update of Windows 7 (64-bit), the screen resolution is set to 800 x 600 and brightness to the minimum. FN + F8/F9 does not work. The brightness is uncontrolled. I had to restore the system before the update.

How to solve the problem, do anyone know?

    Thank you!

    Hi Isosik,

    Welcome to Lenovo Community!

According to the request, we understand that you are facing problem with the display resolution on your ThinkPad X 230.

If you have updated the drivers from Windows update, sometimes this kind of problem occurs with windows generic drivers for cause of driver incompatibility, suggest always update drivers only via the ThinkVantage System Update utility. Update only the application of Microsoft Windows Update.

You can also manually download the drivers from the Lenovo support site.

    Lenovo support site.

    I hope this helps.

  • HP Envy 13-j001ng 2 X: no rotation of the screen after updating Windows 10

    Hello

After the Windows 10 update, the screen will not rotate automatically. Sensor apps tests show that they are working correctly. I have the rotation toggle lock in the notification Panel (I read that some people affected by similar problems don't have it). Any solution for now or should I just wait for updates?

To solve the problem, I had to replace the pilot ODS sensor V2 with the Simple device orientation sensor driver. Now rotation works.

  • Question of blackBerry Smartphones on the new icon/bar at the top of the screen after update 6.0

Hello everyone, after doing the upgrade of software to the new 6.0, all of a sudden I now have a bar at the topof my screen, between the "speaker" icon and the search icon, it shows the messages in this blue bar when there are messages.

BUT... all of a sudden this morning (one week after my upgrade) there is a small green icon in the middle of the bar, and the Green has a number next to it. I can't tell what the icon is, I have never seen this in my life AND I have no idea what means the number next to this icon. The number has STARTED OUT at 88 this morning and now the lunch hour it has a 62 next to the green icon.

I have no idea how to do to post a photo or a screenshot of my phone here or I post a screenshot if you know EXACTLY what I mean.

EVERYONE knows that little green icon with the number beside it? If then... What's to be average or what the purpose of it.

Also, if someone could tell me how to post a screenshot of my phone, I'd be happy to put a picture of it so that you know exactly what I am referring. Thanks in advance for any help.

LOL, no problem enabling, it is easy to forget things like that, especially if you stay on computers or forums throughout the day, sometimes the paragraphs tend to mix together.

  • Cannot add or organize the bookmarks after update of Mozilla

Did an update of Mozilla yesterday. Subsequently all the bookmarks and the superior browser tool bar had disappeared. With the community help I Got those backward with the exception of at least one category/title of the bookmark. Research on this title he has not revealed, but the search for bookmarks which were under this title aired on search results. However it was not clear how to create the title again and put the bookmarks under this title. The function to organize the bookmarks is missing. Also the feature to create new bookmarks disappeared.

The menu planning is context sensitive. If you click on the bookmarks Menu in the left pane, or double-click it in the right pane, then Firefox should list current folders and bookmarks in the menu - and organize most of the items shaded in the menu should come back to life.

  • Cannot be saved on the network after update 11.0.10

If I open an interactive pdf that is currently on a network drive and save as I get a message that says "the document could not be saved. Unable to save this file name. Please save the document under a different name or in a different folder. "I'm a domain administrator and have full access to this place is not a permissions problem. I can save other documents it and make changes to them without problem. Only Adobe Reader. If I go to another computer with Adobe Reader 11.0.9 and do the same steps that it works without problem. Anyone out there know if there is a fix for this yet?

I use Windows 7 64-bit. This also works fine if I save on my local PC. Only happens when we go to a network location. I also test it on a PC that has 11.0.9 worked well, to give birth to 11.0.10 and have the same problem where it won't save to a network location.

Try to disable the Safe_mode as a "Test."  If it works then it probably means you need to add the share on the server as a "place of trust.

  • Palm Treo Pro trouble: Windows media player passes each time the screen saver updated

The treo Pro is an excellent application of low power consumption screensaver that displays date, time and info missed calls. However, the disappointment is that when you listen to music while in screen saver mode, windows media player ignores all the minutes when the clock on the screen saver updates / refreshes.

Since the clock updates every minute, the player skips a beat with unerring accuracy.

It's the solution to this problem. Please, do not respond to a 'solution' to disable the screen saver. I who have already tested and am aware of it. I don't want to disable the default screen saver.

Agree. I discovered that letting Windows media player running on the screen prevents the screen saver from kicking in (which she does if the phone is on the screen today). The screen always shows the player running but will drive according to the configuration.

With that, the problem is solved when I play music in a car, but it will be a pain when walking or jogging.

So I guess the only solution is to disable the screen saver with a single operation... desire, I had an app for that!

  • Cannot increase the resolution of the screen after Windows 7 updates

    Hey guys,.

I recently did a Windows Update on my Win7 laptop and the resolution has been reduced from 1280 to 1026. So now, I have a screen size of 1024 and a black band on the right side of my screen. Essentially, I can't adjust or wear a size of 1280. Everyone knows that lately after the updates. This happened to me around the last week of April. I tried to do a system restore on it which works very well and it brings back to the full screen resolution, but once I restart the laptop he then it narrows down to 1024 on restart. It's as if the part of the screen becomes invalid.

    Hi Jesse,.

I hear your frustration. It is a driver problem. So, lets get set for that (I hope, your BIOS is OK). What is happening is that your system resets with the incorrect driver. What you need to do is to 'disable' (not uninstall) the driver of 'bad' and use only the correct driver. That you should be able to do it via the Device Manager.

Try this approach and see how you rate. Once you can get the 'good' driver to work properly, then and only then we will get rid of the 'bad' driver (uninstall).

    Kind regards

Download the ISO on the provided link and do a repair of the disc.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
