Cannot exchange buttons explore Touch Mouse

I am left handed and I am trying to share my special edition buttons Explorer Touch Mouse recently installed the mouse keyboard Center without success. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the software, drivers, hardware and nothing happens. Before that I installed the mouse was also installed my new natural 4000 ergonomic keyboard V1.0 successfully, all the buttons and lights work. No conflict in the Manager device and the good image of mouse and keyboard is indicated inside the center mouse keyboard.

The software used for this installation was:
IPx64_1033_8.20.468.0.exe
ITPx64_1033_8.20.469.0.exe
MouseKeyboardCenter_64bit_ESP_1.1.500.exe
Some guidelines?
Thanks in advance.
Homero.

  • Explorer Touch Mouse mouse stops scrolling

I have a Touch Mouse Explorer I use with Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (all updates current).  My mouse drivers are the mouse and keyboard Center 2.1 64-bit.  FYI... Recently, I formatted and installed clean versions of all software.

My question has to do with the function of the touch tape.  Overall I am satisfied with the mouse, but often experience loss of the scrolling feature.  There is no specific programs that are affected.  When it works, it works in all programs.  It is the same for when it does not work.

The way I found to get the scrolling function return is either restart my PC or I disconnected the mouse and then turn it back on.  The two will restore the scrolling feature, but it stops eventually.  It's time for how long lasts the function value.

    Would appreciate any troubleshooting tips.

    Hi Modach,

Thanks for the detailed description of issue.

1 did you check the mouse settings in the control panel?

2 is this problem specific to this mouse? Have you tried using different mouse on the computer?

This can be for one of the following reasons:

    · Incorrect mouse is selected in the IntelliPoint software.

    · Conflict with other (non-Microsoft) mice or the pointer software,

    · Problem with the IntelliPoint software or drivers.

    · Application does not correctly recognize scrolling the mouse messages.

To resolve this problem, use the following methods in the order in which they are presented. If method 1 does not resolve your problem, go to the next method.

    Method 1:
I suggest that you try to change the scroll settings and check if it helps:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/change-mouse-settings

    Method 2:
If you have any other software mouse that is installed, such as the Logitech software or touchpad, this software can conflict with Microsoft multi touch mouse. If you uninstall these software and check.

  • Microsoft Mouse and keyboard Center 2.3.188.0 is not Exchange buttons of the mouse correctly with Windows Remote Desktop

I use Microsoft Mouse and keyboard Center for years with no problems. For example, version 2.2.173.0 worked well. I use Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.

I swapped the buttons on my Comfort Optical Mouse 3000 (so that the right button's "click" and the left button displays a context menu, for example). When I connect to a remote computer, traded buttons continue to operate as programmed.

Just set Windows Update to update my mouse and keyboard Center to the 2.3.188.0 version. Now when I use the Windows Remote Desktop to connect to another computer that is running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit, my button is not honored. In other words, on the local computer, the right button of the mouse is 'click '. On the remote computer, the left mouse button is 'click '. The keys are reversed on the local computer, as I have it configured, but not on the remote computer.

I called Microsoft and was transferred to various departments. I would like to report this bug, although I have to pay out of pocket, but there seems to be no way to report this bug.

Is there a way to report this bug to Microsoft? Is there a solution? How can I revert to a previous version of Microsoft Mouse and keyboard Center?

I suggest to perform a restore of the system to a restore point before the update.

You can also uninstall the keyboard and the mouse Center programs and features.

Then, go to this site and download the previous version.

(I couldn't find any previous version on Microsoft sites, but I checked the file hash values, I downloaded Microsoft previously).

  • The key macro for windows touch mouse explore

Hello. I'm a new user in OneNote and one of the features that I love is the copy - paste into OneNote.

To access this feature with the keyboard, the key combination is 'Windows key + s'.  I bought the Explorer touch mouse with the intention to reassign one of the buttons of the mouse to perform the 'Windows key + s' command.
There is the possibility to add a macro in the basic commands and there is the possibility to choose a special key (Windows key), but this does not work in the implementation of the macro. When I press the assigned button, the taskbar appears for a second or two and a letter 's' appears on which window is active, but I can't figure out how to get the "Windows key + s' feature.
    Ideas?

    Hi Roger,

You can change the shortcut to a macro, to so proceed as follows:

    a. open Microsoft Office word (changes will reflect on all Microsoft Office applications)

    b. click the Microsoft Office button, and then click Word Options.

    c. click Customize.

    d. side of keyboard shortcuts, click Customize.

    e. in the categories list, click Macros.

    f. in the list of Macros , click the macro that you want to change.

    g. in the field Press new shortcut key , type the key combination you want to choose.

    h. check the current keys box to make sure that you're not assign a key combination that you already use to perform a different task.

    i. in the list record in , click the option that matches where you want to run your macro.

Important: To allow your macro in all documents, do not forget to click Normal.dotm.

    j. click close.

  • How can I get my mouse to grab things without having to click on the buttons, if I have the touch mouse on my laptop?

How can I get my mouse to grab things without having to click on the buttons, if I have the touch mouse on my laptop?

You will need to go to the control panel > hardware and sound > mouse and see if the settings for the mouse pad have a function called "Tap-to-click" or something similar in the description.  The exact name of this feature differs depending on the manufacturer of the software for the mouse.

If you do not see this option to be available, you will have to probably go to the support site for the manufacturer of your PC and download the latest drivers for your model computer mouse pad and install.  Once installed, go back to the mouse settings in the Control Panel, where you will most likely available additional settings after the driver installed.  I hope that the "Tap-to-click" function will be available to turn on or off.

  • No error detected Microsoft Arc Touch mouse mice

Hello, I have trouble getting my new arc touch mouse to be detected.

I had an another arc touch mouse before, but after a few years, it has stopped working. I like the mouse so I decided to get a second. Unfortunately, when I go into the properties of the mouse, he tells me no. Microsoft mouse detected and I can't update my settings to match the way they were with my old arc touch mouse. The mouse is logged and can be used, but the properties and parameters cannot be changed. I tried deleting and reinstalling without success drivers. I read somewhere else that once you plug the USB receiver into a USB port a different Microsoft mouse cannot later be plugged into this port and be recognized? I don't know if that is right, but I just want to get this mouse works the same way the former did before it stopped working.

    Any ideas?

Thank you very much for your help.

  • Middle button of the mouse - dosen't work not at all.

So my action more used in Firefox was using the middle mouse button to open a new tab on a link. Suddenly after a format on my PC, the middle button of the mouse now refuses to be recognized by Firefox; He cannot even hold to auto-scroll or anything. I would like to confirm that the button works on other programs and games without any problem. Using using ctrl/shift + click is not perfect, but what I do until now. I use the latest version, here is a list of the things I've tried:

-Check all the related: config with the "middle" in the search field.

-Make a new profile and reset Firefox many times

    -Disabled people / removing addons/extensions

-Wiping and installed Firefox completely - tried with no addons

    -Options checked

Up here no luck at all, even no tried a few other browsers such as aurora & chrome with the same question basically.

I don't know if you have a whimsical mouse with his own custom driver software. If so, it would be interesting to try to update the drivers. Alternatively, Firefox sometimes works best when switch you to the standard Microsoft mouse driver instead.

  • Problem HP Pavilion 15 left button of the mouse

Something seems to have gone wrong or goes wrong with my HP Pavilion 15 laptop.

The left mouse button doesn't seem to be completely back to its normal position on the right side of the button. It seems to be about 1 mm below where it should return to.

The button is still fully functional, the left side of the button gets to his normal position of return but the right side is certainly a little weak - there is a separate step to the right button of the mouse that touches.

The laptop is less than a year and I am consideringing it let's get back to the where I bought it, even if the button still works.

Everyone had a problem like this with the muse... buttons?

    Thank you

    Hello Nigel_S

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I understand that you are concerned about the button to left click on the touchpad of your laptop.

There is a little spring under the buttons making the jump to the top, but over time, it can slide or wear out. This usually only happens on notebooks and is not exclusively limited to HP. In view of your product is still under warranty and it is definitely a hardware problem, I would suggest contacting a helpline for service options. You can contact HP Technical Support at 1-800-474-6836 in North America. For all other regions click here.

    Hope this helps!

  • Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse scrolling problem

I have a Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse.  My problem is that when scrolling in the way of my index finger on the metal band, the page scrolls down, as it should, but then maintains a 'click' - same supplement with my index finger lifted well clear of the Strip.   This makes the reading of documents and emails a total boredom.  You reach the next starting point and the cursed thing jumps on another paragraph or two.  The driver is up-to-date.  The mouse is absolutely clean and the dirt and dust are not issues.  It's time to take this mouse has a few miles of the coast to see if it floats?  If anyone else has experienced this?   It would be great to fix because it's an uncomfortable thing to hold and I really like the way that batteries are registered by "flattening" of the mouse after use in order to turn it off.   Any advice would be welcome.   Frustratedly, David, NZ
