  I worked on my calendar, creating several minutes of content.  In the background as well as media files import and transcoding, I noticed that all my stock options were grayed out.  I learned that I stumbled upon import of problems due to the lack of space on my external hard drive as they are for most of the 4K files.  I understand that when you work with 4K you can work, but you must wait until all transcoding of files before exporting a show.

  I also made the mistake to rename some of the clips in the bin case after being placed on the timeline (I think this might be part of my problem).

  This combination of import to a drive with enough space to allow the final transcoding with name change has created a lot of clips of CAMERA MISSING - so NO the ability to share.

  I bought a larger capacity drive and copied all the files in the new storage of 2 TB.

  One - I do an import/reimportation of camera/player.  (in some cases if it does not work - I am again an import - then try to link)

  I am finally able to exit then restart and see FCPX that my changes TAKE so I think I'm on the right track.  Sharing options are grayed out still, but I think that once all are properly reassociated on the timeline, I should be ok - right?

  Here are my questions:

  Why not see problems with my events (no yellow warning sign) everything seems fine - I can change but can not export?  Sharing options are still grayed out?

  Then if I stop/restart FCPX - all yellow and Red warnings lack of cameras back.  I thought I solved the problem, but sometimes getting rid of missing camera is a big chore.  I'm on the right track?

  It is important to allow the import of the whole process independently of the clips - not only 4 K resolution. And part of this process is transcoding if you choose optimize. So I think you're on the right track - you have files with incomplete optimized versions. Suggest that you select your clips in the browser, right-click > transcode media and create optimized media. Open the window of background tasks and monitor if transcoding is started and if it ends.

  Post back and let us know whether or not exporters continues to be a problem.

  I had the first items 10 (academic edition) for some time now, however, it's been a while since I've done a film.  I tried to create a short film using a range of pictures and a few videos.  Whatever it is, I can't export the animation.  'Export' is greyed out.  I'm on a Mac using 10.8.2.

  I am a novice with this software.  Therefore a clear explanation on what I can do to fix this would help greatly.

  From 7 PrE, the export function has been moved completely to the tab share. There, you will find many options, depending on how you want to export/Share.

  Try these:
  METHOD 1:
  Back up all the files on a USB Flash drive or an external hard drive and re - install Windows on the hard disk of laptop.

  METHOD 2:

  Try partitioning your hard drive and put your files there.

  1. Start menu search: 'drive '.
  2. click on create and format hard disk partitions
  3 right-click the Local Disk (C) and select shrink.
  4. According to the size of the files, we could save, choose the size you want to reduce (1000 MB = 1 GB)
  5. right click on the new "unallocated space" and create the Partition. (Name it BACKUP or something)
  6. place all your important files on the new partition, and then, when you reinstall Windows, select the Local Disk (C)
  DO NOT select the Partition you you saved on files.

• Cannot export completed projects

  I use CF Pro v 10.2.3 on my iMac with El Capitan 10.11.6.

  I use the FCP for years and have not encountered this problem until recently.

  I have just completed a project 50 minutes long and have attempted to export (share) for 1080 p Apple device. He goes through the motions of export and told me that sharing has been a success, but there is no output anywhere (I searched the entire computer). The same project, I exported successfully to 720 p Apple device, and it's hidden as usual in iTunes.

  OK the 750 p is good, DVDs, but not enough good for my Media Player.

  Any ideas as to why he is out to Apple 1080 p please?

  

  The above setting must send a copy to iTunes > Home Movies and items shared in the contents of the package.

  Note: After the closure of FCP X the shared file is automatically unloaded.

  You can export your IE Favorites and then import this file into Firefox. Works better than the 'import', IMO.

• Make the button "greyed" out / unclickable

  Ranking currently footage Prores422 HQ in SG CC 15 which will just be made out in the same format so I can still change at the FCC. In the last two weeks, I found the button "made" on the software greyed out or unclickable, regardless of changes in the format, sizing, etc. for rendering. He was able to render well before been there before and I did not any changes to my preferences or program during this period. Uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times, and the problem persists.

  Just do a simple ranking for Uni, films of 15 minutes work max, 25 fps, all were made well in advance during the rough edit, but now to the fine / final cut of the program failed.

  Final cuts have been classified as a new project, stage detected, and then graded accordingly.

  Looks like stored in specific folders and never move.

  There was a thread here not long ago on render-out grey problems. If SpeedGrade has any problem with any information you have entered, it will not export... but does not TELL you what he dislikes. If you need start to change what we both and see which parameter you entered is the 'wrong' to Sg.

  The problem is probably it does not find your codec instructions set up correctly OR not that the codec you chose it is quite 'there '. Right now, my machine is the thought that things DNxHD is not usable... even if it is all "loaded" and appears on the options within the Sg. But as soon as I chose a different codec that he thinks is ready, 'Render' text becomes white and makes it now. Working in the codec options a little more, all my DNxHD codecs now work that they just took some fiddling.

  Flash uses the Adobe Media Converter to create the video output. If you select the option "Use Media Converter" after selecting out of Quicktime, and, if your computer has the AVI codec installed, you should be able to export to an AVI file.

  File > export is used only for export title files. Everything is in the tab share. Go to share > computer.

  I just opened my first jpg in Photoshop CS5 and tried to use 'Image-> auto contrast', but all the Auto (tone, contrast, color) are greyed out. Image-> Mode is set to "RGB color".
