Cannot find audio visual demonstration that is part of Windows XP Home Edition (Service Pack 3)
I used to use it to check how to do various tasks, and he gives a demonstration with an audio explanation of any topic.
How can I find it please?
You can also try clicking Start > search, then search the SBSI (the last character is a letter from 'the eye' as Interactive).
Search for 'all files and folders ".
Look in 'drive Local (c :)) '.
Click on the 'Advanced Options' button and select "Search system folders," "Find the hidden files and folders" and "Search subfolders".
Based on what you said, I don't think you'll find something, but if you do, post back with the details.
I did a quick search on Google for "Microsoft Step By Step Interactive Training" including different variations of this and couldn't find a few security updates, but not the base application download.
You could try to contact Asus and see if they will do anything for you (I don't see a download on the Asus site, either): http://support.asus.com/contactus.aspx?SLanguage=en

Cannot run Mechwarrior 4: vengeance on a Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 3
Original title: cannot run Mechwarrior 4: vengeance on a XP machine.
I installed my copy of Mechwarrior 4: vengeance on a machine with Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 3. The game seems to install properly, no error, but when I try to run the game it just splashes image loading on the screen and then does nothing. I have tried to install the latest patch/update from the site Web of MW4, tried running in compatibility mode, and nothing seems to work. Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

All this is very confusing. I don't understand this.
"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click on continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click on exit, the application closes immediately. There is no application associated with the file specified for this operation. »
However, when I click on continue, nothing happens! Under the 'Détails' button, I get the following message:

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

The application must also be compiled with debugging

For example:

Could you please direct me to the Microsoft Documents where I can find detailed specifications and characteristics of the two operating systems:
(1) Windows XP Home Edition
(2) Windows XP Professional Edition
Thank you
Hello Roman
Thanks for the clarification on the "new computer".
If, as you say, the card mother and any other material is compatible XP then by all means install Windows XP on this machine. As you said you "my idea is to get the XP and keep as long as possible, even after support ceased in 2014, because I like it better than any other operating system." You have been made aware of possible problems concerning the lack of support and you are ready to accept those. The only problem is to get a copy of Windows XP from a reliable source. Unfortunately, I can't help you with that. Personally, I prefer to get my software direct from the manufacturer or by a reliable retailer. As no other retailer has copies of Windows XP you are, unfortunately, has left the search for credible resource on the web.
My note to the subject of sticking with Windows 7 or 8 on your new computer has been in regards to your initial comment to a "new computer". I have two computers that are running Windows 7 and Windows 8, but then again maybe I need the additional machines and you do not have.
I have to admit that Windows XP is a great operating system, and to be honest, I also use it on a virtual machine on one of my PC. However it is more for support reasons than the generalization on my part.
Windows 7 get some getting used to, but I found it a usable operating system. Windows 8, however, is an altogether different beast. You love or hate it and judging by the comments on the Microsoft forums many people hate everything simply. Yet once I used it since the first beta of the operating system, so I'm used to it.
I agree with voluntary J on Windows XP Mode. This is useful if you have applications that are not compatible with Windows 7. However, as you said in your reply to J to volunteer, you must upgrade to Windows 7 Professional. You can run Windows XP on a virtual machine, with, say, Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 (as a free option); However, you should always buy a copy of XP and new Virtual Machines have some restrictions, especially when it comes to certain types of hardware connected to your PC. Maybe your best bet, if you prefer to upgrade would be to use Windows XP from Windows 7 mode.
I hope that you succeed in your quest for a reliable copy of Windows XP

Where can I find the download of Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 1?
I did a full restore in Win Vista Home Premium from recovery disks. When you set the computer, I enabled Windows Update before remembered me that I had to also download Vista Service Pack 1 and Service Pack 2. Windows Update had already downloaded and installed 100 updates before I remembered.
Now, I can't find a download site for Vista Service Pack 1 and 2 on the Windows site. Every link I click on that is inactive.
Can someone tell me where to go for Vista SP1 and SP2 downloads now that Vista is no longer supported?
Any other ideas?
Should I still SP1 and SP2? This computer will serve as my husband for basic e-mail, IE8 and preparation of simple Word documents. He'll have Norton 360 installed.
Thank you very much in advance for any suggestions or advice. Rookie mistake - I knew that Vista is no longer supported, but I never imagined that I could not download as basic as the SP1 and SP2 to Windows. I hope that I simply found the location of the 'magic' yet.

Please, please install all service packs. Ignore all, messages of "DO NOT click DOWNLOAD if YOU ARE UPDATING a SINGLE computer" read you. It works very well.
Also - please please install something other than Norton 360 AV.

I have a PC Emachine that I bought with Windows XP Home Edition loaded on it, hard drive went bad and had to be replaced, I don't have a CD to reload my Windows, still have the product key sticker on the PC to save it. Is there a way I can download it? I have XP Pro on another PC, thought I could load and use the product key for my original PC, but who doesn't. Any ideas on what I can do
Borrow an OEM Windows CD (it must be OEM) and install it using your product key. (You can make a copy of it for your future use - this isn't the CD you pay because it's the product key). A generic OEM CD maybe not some or all the drivers you need you would be safe to download from the website of the provider first.

Under hardware and Sound/devices and printers, I have a yellow triangle with my 6910p icon. Right click on the "hardware" tab States "this device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12).
I've recently upgraded the operating system to Windows 7 Professional. Everything works ok but I show this yellow triangle where the devices are displayed. When I look in Device Manager/Mobile Intel (r) 965, I get a window saying 'Problem detected with Mobile Intel (r) 965 Express Chipset Family'. The next window States: "the device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12). If you want to use this device, you have to disable other devices on the system once".
How can I go about doing so, the yellow triangle disappears?
I tried to reinstall device Base system SP46972 and SP45738 of the video driver.
Not sure if this is related, but I also have a black screen with a 1 in. border on the left and the right, which was not the case when Windows XP is the operating system. I also need to solve this problem as well. Searches on Google did not find the solution, so I hope someone can provide the answers to these two questions.
Glad to hear that you would have recommended as the next step. It has proved to be a challenge, but one that we have managed to find solutions for. Thanks again for all your help and patients. Carl

Reinstalled Vista, now it cannot find a system volume that meets the criteria for installation
OK, I caught a virus really bad and had to reinstall vista. I have 4 hard drives on my computer. When I was going to do a fresh stall of my cd of Vista 64-bit, the first thing I did was to reformatt all my hard drives but the one with the files I wanted to save on this. Now, the problem comes when I try to select a hard drive to install vista, I get a message that says "windows cannot find a system volume that meets its criteria for installation"! I get this message on each of the hard drives that I tried to install it. These are the same drives exact I had at first and installed vista on several times before with no problems. I even deleted the drives and tried repartioning them and always got the same message. Help, please!
OK, for anyone else who might encounter this problem, the solution is to disconnect all but one of the drives that you want on your computer. Make sure you leave the one you want installed on connected windows and then do the installation. Subsequently, you can reconnect to the rest of your hard drives. !

I know what this means, but do not know how to fix it! What other device safely disable to make this work? Any help will be appreciated. Thank you!
See this:
Code 12: This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use
http://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc732199 (v = ws.10) .aspxTry running the Fixit mentioned on the link under "additional information."
If this does not work, try this:
Go to Device Manager, under the display adapter, double-click on your Mobile Intel (r) Express Chipset Family 995 to see its properties. Click on the 'Resources' tab, under "Conflicting device list" note the device in conflict. Look for the device in Device Manager, if its listed under "other devices" right click and uninstall the device. Alternatively, you can "update driver software... ' or 'Disable' the device.

Guys, I have a problem. So, my laptop has 2 graphics cards, an integrated course of the Intel HD graphics (which works perfectly) and the other being the dedicated Nvidia graphics (Nvidia GeForce 940 m). Until 2 days ago, everything was going well and running.
I have the application experience GeForce and it prompted me that there is a new driver update should I download. He started to install then after rebooting to complete the installation, it failed. I checked my device manager and saw a yellow exclamation under under my Nvidia graphics card (remember, my laptop has two graphics cards: Nvidia graphics card and Intel HD graphics that works correctly). I immediately checked the details, and he said:
"This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12) »
"If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system."
This seemed very strange, because it was LITERALLY working properly before I was invited about update driver I got, so I don't know what to do - as a matter of fact, literally, I finished this game, Deadpool, with my Nvidia card that I put as the default graphics card, a few hours before , so I don't know why this happened. Any help? I'm looking for a logical answer to this, guys!
Additional information:
A few days before this happened, I went to my store local pc and installed an extra 4 gigs of ram on my 4 existing to make 8. Don't know if it's useful, but anyway
If I pick up my laptop and shake it side by side, I hear a slight rattling noise, and it seems a little loose (I found this out after seeing the error message). The noise seems to come from just below the middle of my keyboard (I'm using a laptop). If for some reason, my Nvidia card is loose? Is this possible?
I am quite technologically inclined, but not to the extent of removing components and reconstruction cell phones / pc and access the bios and what not. I can only remove/add ram.
I want to know if its something I am able to fix it because I do not necessarily want to go running and sending my laptop places - only my pc up shop.
Here is the location of my Nvidia card: PCI Slot 4 (PCI bus 4, device 0, function 0)
My specs:
Acer TravelMate p257-MG
Windows 7 business
Intel core i5-5200u 2.20 GHz 2.20 Ghz processor
8.00 GB of ram
64-bit operating system
1 t hard drive
940 m Intel HD graphics 5500 & Nvidia Geforce card
Just to recap, I get the error on my Nvidia graphics card code, "this device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12) ""If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system. »
Thanks in advance!
