Cannot find secpol.msc

When I installed windows 7 Home premium x 64 on my desktop the secpol.msc file was not found in the control run or search for what's happened that's on my laptop. has accrued more research question says MMC could not create snap?

I'm sorry, but isn't Windows 7 Home Premium secpol.msc (local security policy editor).  This requires the complete edition or professional version.

What settings do you have?  There could be another way to do it.

Happy New Year to you, I wanted to know why I can not ge in "Computer Configuration", when you type "gpedit.msc"
He gave you an error message "Windows cannot find gpedit.msc"

Another thing when I used "regedit" and navigate from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\WindowsNT\SystemRestore,.
to remove the Configuration value 'disable', will I double click to remove the value or right-click then delete?

    Best wishes

gpedit.msc is located in windows\system32 and memory that it doesn't come with Vista Business they don't think Vista Home or Premium gpedit users need.

and on the deletion you simply right click and delete or just left click and use the keyboard not the BACKSPACE Delete key. Double click on the button simply you can edit the value contained by the key

If you have Windows 7 Home Premium then it didn't GOT secpol.

Why do you feel the need to turn off UAC on a computer at home? You should not really, you know, and in fact there is absolutely no need to do.

  • Cannot find gpedit.msc in Windows 8

Hello. I did the following steps:
    Windows key + R
    Type "gpedit.msc".
    Press enter
I get a message that Windows can not find.
I have privileges to administrator and only one account on the computer.
I would like to know how to get to gpedit.msc so I can't disable the daily boredom "Reboot now or reboot later" I get constant windows updates.

I suspect that unless you have Windows Pro 8, then gpedit is not here - as it was not in Windows 7 Home Premium or Starter.

  • Windows cannot find 'C:\WINDOWS\system32\services.msc/s '.

My laptop broke down. I had to restart from my CD. But I have a problem with connecting to an existing wireless network. When you try to configure the automatic configuration service, I followed the steps as suggested. 1. click on start, then run 2. In the box, type C:/Windows\system32\services.msc/s. After this point, a message board appears saying that "Windows cannot find 'C:\WINDOWS\system32\services.msc/s'. Where can I get it?

    Thank you very much.

  • Satellite A665 - 12K: BT does not work - cannot find the remote service

    Hello!

    Help solve the problem,

Computer laptop A665 - 12 k connected via bluetooth devices, bluetooth Manager finds the device, but do not connect it gives an error 'Cannot find the remote service' before you reinstall windiws solved similar problems 7. Did you reinstall driver broadcom, resettlement (ver.8, ver.9) bluetooth stack, clean the registry, windows 7 the relocation does not contribute to what either.. .Please help!

    Hello

I recommend you to check the services that are running in the background.
The point is that if BT service is not running or is not enabled, the BT connection cannot be established.

To check the service appointment on: Control Panel-> administration-> computer management tools
or you can directly open the Services' list by typing services.msc command in RUN or Start Menu search box.

No, you will get a list of available services. Search for services called Bluetooth and activate this service by double-click a service and select the option you want.

Then try to reactivate the BT using the FN + F8 key combination

What version of Windows, including service pack (right click on my computer > properties)

What past just before the problem arises?

    Click Start > run > services.msc > OK
    Scroll down to "Windows Audio"

The Windows Audio service must be started and its "Startup type" should be "automatic".  If it is not started, double-click the entry and click on the Start button.  If it is unable to start the service or instead generates an error message, the file for the Audio Service may have become corrupt or deleted (although this file has to be protected by Windows File Protection).

Search for your system (probably C :) drive

audiosrv. DL (it's only one L)

Make sure to look in the "system folders" "hidden files and folders," and "subfolders.

You should find the audiosrv.dll (with two Ls) in C:\Windows\system32.

If she is not there, it should be in C:\Windows\ServicePackFiles\i386

If it's not there either, you have a file named audiosrv.dl_ in C:\i386?

  • Scanner CanoScan 8400F cannot find the WIA driver in Win7 x 64

Scanner CanoScan 8400F was working on win7 x 64 Home Premium Office.

I use it every month. Last month it worked fine. Now stopped working - get message saying cannot find WIA driver. WIA service stisvc runs under services.

I tried driver/software updates from Canon support - no help.

Scanner works on laptop with win7 x 64 Professional with updated drivers/software.

I think that the scanner is not serious, that desktop usb ports are in agreement, that support of Canon software is correct.

What does not work in the operating system? Thank you.
