  Right click on the ATI radeon HD 5400Series... and select software update of the driver...

  Now select "Browse my computer for driver software".

  Click Browse and navigate to C:\swsetup\SP50640
  Make sure that you check (TICK) include subfolders

  Now click on next... your screen, flickers like a hell, and finally install your driver...

  Unplug the unit from the PC. Restart the power off PC. Check in Control Panel programs and features for any reference to the Lifacam. If it's there, highlight it and delete. Chweck for the reference to the Lifecam Device Manager. If there, remove it. Reset. Repeat the upgrade.

  I recently bought a HP Pavilion 15 - n214tu and clean installed Windows 7 64 bit on it.
  After I installed it, I noticed that most of the hardware have installed the drivers.
  I managed to find the majority of pilots, but there are some that I can't locate the names because in being very brief Device Manager.
  The other necessary drivers are:

  Ethernet controller
  PCI Simple Communications controller
  SM Bus controller
  (USB) Universal Serial Bus controller

  The only things I noticed that still does not work on the portable real are the Ethernet port and 2 usb 3.0 ports

  Any help would be greatly appreciated,

  Of course it isn't yet very difficult. You just need a BR drive or a drive? The replacement drive will be $80-120, or so, maybe a little less. You can find them on eBay. You can use a generic but that may require a redesign of the front or just get a car dv6-6000 BR on eBay. Trade on with a few screws on the bottom. Get out and drag the replacement. You will need new software to play BR movies, of course.

  If you can still access Windows, please go to your device manager. Click on the pointer little next to IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers and display the name of your controller SATA ACHI.

  I think that according to the manual, it takes the ICH 9 M.
