Cannot find the library of photos on iMovie sidebar
I work in iMovie and I can't find the photo library on my sidebar iMovie. How to retrieve
In the preferences of Photos make sure your library is the library system. It must be indicated as grey. Then open photos before opening iMovie and it should appear.
I have scoured the internet to find answers, but came up empty. I started a new project and was able to access the videos I have in my library of photos and drag them all right in my project. The process of video editing coming along the wonder. But when I got back to my project, I couldn't find any way to access the videos in Photos. I have no idea where the ability to access the Photos went. I'm still relatively new to iMovie and Mac in general. I have iMovie version 10.1. I tried to do the things suggested by others. I checked to see if the photo library is the system and it is. I created a new album for videos in the Photos. I restarted my computer and iMovie. Still, I can't find a way to get my videos in iMovie. The only thing I could think to do would then copy all of the videos on my desk and import one by one but I have a lot of sequences and import has been so slow that it was no progress at all.
Here is a screenshot of what I had dealt with.
Please help if anyone has the answers!
Posters have had success by opening the pictures before launch iMovie. Then photo library appears in your library list. These positions are for most users of 10.1.1 so not sure about 10.1.
I'm going to re - build my iTunes files from scratch, a kind of decennial event 'spring clean '. I have created a new library by using the command, click on application startup, and then began to rebuild new reading lists in the application. I can see the folder newly created the library that contains the new "iTunes Library.itl" file BUT I don't see that the iTunes Music Library.xml file. " There certainly must be one to save the data of the playlist, and probably "Get Info" should reflect today date' today... I don't see older versions.
Although everything seems to work perfectly I don't want to have to re - visit the construction of Playlists from scratch for the next ten years! Can anyone suggest what happened to the .xml file?
Thanks and greetings
You can create an .xml on iTunes/file/library/Export library file and gives you the opportunity to put the Library.xml file in your iTunes Media folder - or anywhere you like.
If you need to rebuild your playlists, you can go to iTunes, file, library, import playlist and select the .xml file.
Normally, you do not see the .xml file in your iTunes folder.
In the sources of importation on LR6, there no pictures option to select. I had the opening, then imported this photo library a few weeks back. Hated the photo and now wants to use LR6. But no Photos available for import library... Any ideas?
You can export your photos from the Photos app. There is a point under file - export - export original unmodified. After that you can import them from the file system in LR.

I'm trying to use the function I build in a C++ of Labview "Call library function" dll, but it cannot find the name of the function "Add" or "divide". Attached my .dll, file .cpp and screws, could you help me to find out where is the problem?
The only function exported in your original of the CPP file is the
function. Declare the object as static methods does not export them. It just creates methods of objects that do not have an implicit object as the first parameter pointer and so these functions cannot reference the data object members (but your class has none yet).
Essentially if you intend to do all your static class methods, using a class is actually pretty meaningless. You would be better with simple standard C functions as your add_num() function is.

Original title: laptop won't read the music files stored on external hard drive
I have an old Compaq laptop Windows XP, so it was out of memory I transferred everything on a Portable Seagate (500 GB) hard drive and started to access it. It's worked well for over a year, but lately, began to stop playing my music files. Absolutely everything on the hard drive opens, however, images, files and folders, but when I go into Windows Media Player, it pops up with this error message:Windows Media Player cannot find the file. If you try to read, burn or sync an item that is in your library, the element can point to a file that has been moved, renamed, or deleted.I have not modified parameters or anything that moved. I used to be just able to restart the laptop, or disconnect and reconnect the hard drive and it works again, but now it or not will be not at all, or it will cut off half way through a song and then not to play anything more.I can't find any support for this problem because the phone reads that the hard drive is there, and everything else works. Only the music doesn't. I tried to play music on a connected USB and it works fine. I'm so confused!Hi lkm0293,Here are some articles that you might find useful:

If you try to read, burn or sync an item that is in your library, the element can point to a file that has been moved, renamed, or deleted.
Does anyone have an idea on how I can display these attachments?
Thanks for your help.
· What is the email client or webmail you are using?
· What is the attachment file extension?
· How do you open the attachment?
· Is it by double-clicking or you choose open with option.
a. save the attachment to the office,
b. right-click on the file and select open with the option to open the attachment according to their file extension.
Example: If the .docx file extension, then it is word document or .pdf, it's Adobe.
You can get the extension of a file by right clicking on the file and go to properties

With my Documents folder open, go to Toolsand then click on Options files . On the general tab, tasks section, choose Show tasks in folders.
I would like to know if it works. Thank you.

Windows will not open photos says windows cannot find the file (photos have been saved he previously said)
I imagine the inconvenience that you are experiencing and will certainly help you in the right direction to solve the problem. However, I would be grateful if you could answer a few questions to refine the question in order to provide you with better assistance.
- Form when you try to open pictures? Is it in Photo Viewer?
- What type of files you are trying to open?
- You are able to open the photos in the Photos App?
- What is the brand and model of the computer?
- You did changes to the computer before this problem?
I suggest you to try the steps below and see if it helps you to solve the problem.
Method 1: Run the utility to search and index and check.
a. press the Windows key + X and click on Control Panel.
b. click on Troubleshooting.
c. Select display all on the upper left corner.
d. perform research and solving problems of indexing.
Method 2: Restart the Windows Search service and check.
(a) press Windows + R key and type "services.msc" and press ENTER.
(b) locate the Windows Search service and right-click on it.
(c) click Properties and check that the start option has been activated.
Method 3: If the problem persists, I suggest you to run a full scan using the Microsoft Safety Scanner (MSS) to ensure that the computer is virus-free.
The Microsoft Safety Scanner free is a downloadable security tool that allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malicious software. It works with your current antivirus software.
Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.
Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

I've seen several references to the requirement that a hard drive be formatted to Mac OS... but here's my situation... I back up my everyday Mac files and folders (with commands simple copy/paste) on a 2 TB disk that has been formatted for a pc. It seems to work fine for me.
MY QUESTION - can I copy the photo library (mine is now 15G) of this same drive (even once... it is NOT formatted in OS) to provide care? Yes, I'm not going to try to "open" here but I can copy it on the Mac and do work properly. im just trying to be able to recover from a crash of my Mac. If my Mac crashed, I won't be able to backup the library of Photos of this PC drive formatted to my new Mac, and then open it as usual.
extra credit question: what exactly is a "library" file I see that it shows with another icon in the finder, compared to a folder or a file. im guessing that it is some kind of package that has the hierarchy within this user every day didn't need to dive in...? but in the context of my Q... can I copy this library (from 1 location 2 location) as if it was a garden variety file?
1. no outside a Mac OS Extended format disk image. Note that if the drive is formatted FAT32, the file size of the image must be less than 4 GB.
2. Yes, it is.
I have an IMac with OS El Capitan 10.11.2 & want to save the files & photos on an external HD. I can drag 7 drop files to HD, but where do I find the folder of photos to do what I can't do drag & drop those. Grateful for the help here.
Drag, or export them to Magnatune or choose homepage from the Finder Go menu, double click on photos and drag the library as a unit of a volume format Mac OS extended.
