Cannot get HP Scan Pro to see my Photosmart 6180 printer for scanning

I would like to be able to scan documents to PDF files, but HP Scan Pro does not see my scanner. Several times, I get the error message:
Error:
Sorry, scanner could not be initialized.
(Scanner not found.)
I tried all the steps suggested in your troubleshooting guide, including to repair my disk
permissions, uninstall and reinstall the HP software via software update, but nothing helped.
I was able to scan to jpg files via System Preferences/Print & scan/open Scanner and also analysis of the printer to a flash drive, but it would be much more convenient scan documents directly to PDF on Mac format!
This feature is used to work when I had this printer connected to a PC. I am now trying to run on a new Mac Mini running OSX 10.7.3 Lion. The printer is connected directly to a USB 2.0 on the Mac.
I feel of ben with her already and it seems to work fine with this computer for printing.
Any help you could offer would be appreciated.

The complete functionality (including the HP scanning software) HP software is not compatible with Lion.
The driver for your operating system available via update of the Apple software and not on the HP site.
Be sure to remove completely any HP software installed as follows:
* Please note that the following steps will delete all HP software installed.
1. click on menu go (click the desktop, then watch the menu in the bar at the top of the page)
2. Select Applications
3 select the Hewlett-Packard folder
4. double-click on the HP uninstaller application
5 follow the uninstall to prompt to select a device to uninstall
6. press and hold the keys Ctrl + Alt + Cmd on the keyboard at the same time as you click on Uninstall
7 approve any prompt to uninstall all HP software.

The printer software is available via Apple Software Update and not as an executable from HP site.

Cannot get online after installing windows XP Edition family on my laptop which was origally XP PRO
I have a laptop HP Compaq 6830 s that had xp professional did not get a disc of bone with it when buying. The system crashed 0x0000007B error code. I installed OS XP Home version Pro Version and now I't does not recognize my modem or ethernet. Cannot get online. I'll tho the HP site and they don't have that driver for XP Pro Downloads Home Version. I go to the Device Manager and have question marks on the following - ethernet controller (PCI bus 134, device 0, function 0), network controller (bus PCI 3, device 0, function 0), PCI Device (device function 27 of the PCI bus 0 0), Universal serial bus (PCI bus 0, device 29, function 7) (USB) Universal Serial Bus controller (bus PCI 0) (, 26, function 7 device), unknown device (on PCI bus) properties, the properties of the unknown device (on system compatible ACPI Microsoft) and the properties of video controller (VGA Compatible) (bus PCI 1, device 0, function 0) all the points mark have (Code 28). Is there any wat I can fix this or should I install OS XP PRO?

You're right; There are a large number of items on this page. You may be able to refine things if you enter your full product number, but if not, here are some general indications:

Satellite Pro P300-19 q - cannot get the Wlan to work

Ive just bought the PRO P300-19 q and as many other people cannot get wifi to register even less to connect to any network. I will say that I am under XP Pro. I've updated all the drivers and everything is enabled.
If anyone can help with this problem it would be greatly appreciated. It seems absurd that Toshiba or Intel have not resolved that, as the problem is ongoing since 2005 - announcement earlier I found.

Installed Trial Version of Acrobat Pro XI, now the day 30 trial is over maintaining the pop-up box that appears and cannot get rid of it. I don't want to license or install the product - just stop the box pop up! Certainly a way to put people out of future trials of download.

Hello.
I am unable to get my Macbook pro to detect devices, that it has never been previously connected.
The Macbook pro is detectable by the Bluetooth devices, but I don't seem to have an option to be able to detect the client devices.
My macbook pro gives the possibility to be discoverable - mode client for example, I want to discover clients for example, speakers, headphones.
My bluetooth speakers or headphones work fine on my Ipad so I know the beat headphones works well.
The pro macbbook is detectable and I can connect by Ipad or phone for her, so I don't know the bluetooth on the Macbook works fine.
