  Three weeks ago, I got a Dell PC with Windows Vista and a card Hauppauge WinTV HVR-1250 TV that was installed at the factory.

  I spent about 2 hours with assistance from Hauppauge reinstall all the Hauppauge software, drivers, etc..  I receive the Hauppauge WinTV live TV but still not be able to get live TV on Media Center (the same error as above - "Tuner not installed.').  The aid office in Hauppauge said that they handled several requests like mine, but not can not solve the solution must be found in Vista.

  I receive TV on the Hauppauge WinTV software, but I prefer using Media Center.

• AnyConnect 4.1 - cannot get the secure gateway configuration

  So I AnyConnect working on one SAA however, ASA another located in another country, I get the following error:

  "Unable to get the secure gateway configuration.

  I get a prompt for the username and password seems to be authentication very well however in step 'check' the profile updates this error.

  I was comparing my two setups and they look identical.

  Working ASA model: 5512 worm 9.1 (4)

  Does not not ASA: 5510 worm 9.1 (4)

  Client version: 4.1.02011

  I know, if there is no customer profile configured on ASA, the software Anyconnect client will use the client profile by default, which is placed on the local computer (C:\ProgramData\Cisco\Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client\Profile) when installing Anyconnect software.

  Using the windows tool "FixIt" on a blank DVD got all green ticks OK but when I went to play DVDs ~ nothing!

  So OK, where from here.

  Nearest service center is a 5 hour drive, and I will send this laptop for my financial and other stuff done busy resourses is more allow me to simply replace this system and start from scratch.

  To be honest, the situation is strange to me, and I think that you spent too long with all this.

  In my opinion, you have to manage fast. The fist issue is: either defective or not ODD?
  The reasons why it doesn't work with a Toshiba DVD player is not relevant at all. You can test it with VLC media player to see how it works.

  So I recommend you to follow:
  You should not change your preinstalled operating system that you use for work or anything else. Try to get another HARD drive. Swap and install the OS by using recovery disc. Test the functionality of the WEIRD with the settings to be sure that the problem persists or not.

  In the end, if you are willing to trade the player s check Manual of use and you will be find the list of all compatible optical disc readers you can use with your model of laptop.

  I can't have the CD/DVD writer to work well. I looked on the downloads page, but there seems to be nothing. It reads the CD/dvd, but allow me to write to them. If I put a blank CD in nothing happens.

  Someone has ideas how to get this working again?

  Maybe you should install like Nero burning software. Original Toshiba image (WXP MCE) it was an engraving Sonic RecordNow software pre-installed.

• Satellite M200 - cannot get card memory SD camera to work

  I have a Toshiba Satellite M200 and tried to download photos from a memory card from my digital camera on it using the multimedia slot on the front of the laptop, however nothing happens when I put the memory card.

  It is a SanDisk Ultra II 2. 0 GB, and I tried to look on the user manual to find if the media slot will take this card but can't seem to find anything - even impossible to find the manual on this Web site.

  Do I need software for this multimedia property work?

  I checked the European Toshiba support page and this model of laptop is not here but on support US page it has listed two portable Satellite M200.

  If your laptop model is listed you will find s manual user with the exact specification for laptop and the list of all supported cards that can be used with multimedia slot.

  For 3 days I was not able to go on some secure sites on Internet Explorer, I can't what whether Msn, Msn explore. I get her "cannot display this webpage". says it's my firewall is blocking https. I can get on these sites of foxfire, but I can't use any messengers, Yahoo or Msn Windows live. I tried to disable the firewall and still no luck. I also can't update windows and fear my page, that it will not update my computer, I ran anti spy and my anti virus. • Cannot get Nik Software Plug-ins to work in CS5 Extended

  Has anyone else had a problem to get CS5 and CS5 Extended to recognize the Nik Software Plug-ins? I tried to install as they recommend, I tried to choose the location in the folder of Plun-ins and I even put the files in manually and not always no chance. I've never had a problem on my windows machines, but has decided to move all Adobe for Mac products.

  More old plugins works only in 32 bits.

  If you can not get the card reader to work, it can be replaced and/or an external card reader is not expensive.

  They go bad sometimes. Try these:

  / Settings (BIOS/CMOS) often F2 when you start then look at the screen - make sure that the USB port is enabled.

  Control Panel - device - hard drives - SD card Manager or similar - double click - Driver tab - click on update drivers (this will likely do nothing that MS is far behind the certification of drivers) then right clicked UNINSTALL.

  Now get to the USB controllers - right click - UNINSTALL everything in the category at the moment, EXCEPT the category itself - REBOOT. This will refresh the USB driver stack.

  Here is the similar procedure under XP, Vista is the same, except that we need to clear the specific device if present.

  USBDeview is a small utility that lists all USB devices currently connected to your computer, as well as all USB devices that you previously used. Run Options and check the 1st three choices to see if one is there. You can remove all instances of the drive and restart again.

  Start - type in search box - Windows disk - find Windows Disk Management on the list at the top - right click - RUN AS ADMIN search to see if there is a drive letter assigned or a conflict.

  As you can hear clearly through the laptop. It seems that the connection on the speakers are not appropriate. Make sure all agreements fully connected without any loose connections.

  It could be a problem with the docking station. Try to connect the speakers directly to the laptop without using the docking station and check if it works very well.

  If the problem persists, then I suggest you to check with the speakers. You can also contact the manufacturer of your docking station or with dell and check with them if this is of any help

• Cannot get the PDF2ID plug-in to work.

  I bought the PDF2ID add-on for Mac and installed using the InDesign extensions Manager.

  It's in the Extensions listed as PDF2ID Lite 4.0.1 Recosoft Corp. Manager.

  InDesign Recosoft has among the drop down menus. I clicked and I get the following error message:

  PDF2ID can not detect the PDF2ID folder. The folder was moved from its previous loacation.
  PDF2ID requires that the files in the folder to use. Navigate to the folder PDF2ID from dialogue that appears. (2002)

  I haven't moved all folders. This dialogue is displayed, locate the PDF2ID application folder.

  I did a search, there is a folder PDF2ID. A InDesignPlugin that contains versions and resources as well as a "grayed out" Unix executable files. Which satisfies this request either.

  And now I'm stuck.

  I got instructions from Recosoft and the plugin works fine.

  The problem was that I had used the trial version was that collide with the PDF2ID plug-in.

  If anyone has this same problem, please email Recosoft to [email protected].

  I must say, the plug-in has been spare me steps.

  I created a blog through Adobe Muse and Business Catalyst customized instructions, I found in a video.

  Seems like everything works most of the time with the addition of styles custom to modulestylesheets.css however, not for the life of me I can get the text of the

• Tecra S1: Cannot get battery bluetooth or wireless to work

  Hello. I have a tecra S1. I bought a friend and don't have is not the original cd. After a fresh install of xp sp2, I followed the order of installation of the drivers from the toshiba site. I tried several drivers for the wireless card, but it is still yellow in the devices. I'm confused as to why there are so many drivers for the wireless card (intel, toshiba, atheros, cisco, etc.), none of them work well? Can anyone help?

  In addition, as a result of the bulletin tec on the toshiba site I installed the toshiba bluetooth stack. Whenever I try to open the bluetooth Manager, it does not. Nothing will come up on the taskbar. Can anyone help?

  The fact is that these devices are optional on this unit. The laptop also has 4 different wireless network cards. You should be sure that you are using the correct driver.
  You suggested that the Bluetooth mouse is connected to the unit. Well, it seems that the Bluetooth works fine, but you have not enabled this feature.
  Try using the FN + F8 key combination to activate the WiFi and Bluetooth.
