Cannot get Satellite A300 works well

I've had many, many problems with my computer brothers laptop for a while now. It is a Satellite A300 (PSAGCA-06P01Q), and initially the laptop worked quite well.

However, he started a lot of freezing. Whenever we wanted to install a program, (on this occasion AVG 8.0) or go into Control Panel, computer or documents it would freeze, pretending because the computer was not enough performance to do the job. The green roof bar where it says computer near the top of the pop up computer would charge right at the end, as to say he had finished loading, and then it would freeze.

CTRL + Alt + Del will not work, so the only solution was to hold the power button. However, after a reboot is exactly the same thing. So I decided to return to the widget factory settings recovery, and who went all well, until exactly the same thing happened again. If Vista can't be the problem. I also tried the system repair, (continuously pressing F8 at the beginning of boot), but who gave no positive results.

However, I had a module of RAM Kingston 2 GB provided with the laptop, and because of the slowness of the computer, I decided to install the RAM. Everything is perfect to the BIOS screen saying it had 4096 MB of RAM (with 2GB) before, which went well. However, try so that it starts properly, after that the green bar under icon Windows finishes loading, a blue screen appears saying something (he went to fast to know what it says), then restarted the laptop.

Laptop recommended to go to the repair of the system so see if there was any problem with the Vista boot but he came to nothing. So I decided to make aging system recovery to factory settings, but know that I can't do anything because a box comes up saying what operating system to correct, but there is no edition of Vista Home in the box. It says load drivers, but I cannot locate and files.

This looks like a hardware problem, because you have already tried to recover the laptop using the Toshiba recovery disc.
So I think it might be a problem of a RAM or HARD drive, but I do not know Mr. in your case, I'll try the gear tests posted by Akuma. I know that two tests and they are very useful to identify an error RAM or HARD drive.

In addition, I think that the new RAM is not compatible with the laptop or it s faulty. Have you tried to recover the laptop using the old RAM?

    Have you installed original image recovery or your own version of the OS?
    After clean OS installation Windows Update set to automatic so downloading updates runs in background and it slows down laptop performance quickly, especially if you need internet connection.

    Change windows update settings and set it to check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them.
    When you have finished your work, you can start update installation.

    Hi, I have a Qosmio F10 but can't seem to use the bluetooth devices. When I went in the bluetooth devices Manager and tried to add a new device, said bluetooth was off and then I went in an another bluetooth application and who says it could not load the bluetooth startup file (although when I checked, it was on the computer).

    Stupidly, I then installed something called Bluetooth Monitor 2 but this actually took away all bluetooth files and I could not find the bluetooth manager plus. I uninstalled this Bluetooth Monitor 2 but still can't find the old files.

    I was wondering if someone could help? I realize it's a guy very newbie Q but I hardly ever use my laptop and can get the bluetooth works fine on my desktop.

    Your Satellite Pro A300-1DZ belongs to the series of PSAG1E and this series was equipped with Realtek 802.11(b/g) 13ch-RTL8187B WLan card!

    I installed XP pro since the XP downgrade Cd included and wireless drivers wasn't on that CD so I downloaded them. (And Yes. "This is the correct drivers.)
    After that I installed the driver and restart my computer, I could not find wireless networks. Kind of weird because I have 4 routers/points of WLAN on my company with the range 60-100% and about 3 other public routers without security. I tried to update the drivers to windows update, and WU has found an update for me. I installed driver and the wireless highlight function. I scream YES and restart the computer. Then it stopped working. N° !!!
    I was a little tired on the problem and began installing some other computers that I bought and when I looked the Toshiba computer that I saw that it was connected to my WLAN. Weird, but I thought it worked then I restart the computer again and then his does not work... again! Now, I have analyzedthe problem and it's like that.

    When I start the computer the my WNIC does not any WLAN.
    About 10 min (10m32s) after starting the wireless started working.
    I am able to disconnect and change the user and it still works, but as soon as I restart the computer it stops and I have to wait another 10 minutes. And so on.

    Anyone been trough something like this even if it is not not toshiba or my model?

    You will never get Bluetooth works on Satellite L300 - 22 X because it s not equipped with Bluetooth. I put t know who told you this information, but it s wrong.
    A friend told Satellite L300 it s not equipped with Bluetooth too.

    But it uses an external USB Bluetooth dongle which bought in a store of the computer. It wasn't expensive t, but he can use Bluetooth! :)

    I have connected my laptop to my TV via TV-out and a cable to S-video 4 pin. I turned on the TV as output in the advanced settings of my graphics card. I chose the TV via the Fn + F5 keys and I get nothing on my television.

    Can anyone suggest what I might have left out to make it work?

    The S-video cable is new and connect it to the TV is made by a Joytech AV Control Center 2.
    The Joytech unit is operational and the video cable seems OK as the Fn + F5 key indicates that a TV is available - this disappears as an option if I unplug the video cable from the unit of Joytech.

    I doubt that you have downloaded from the Toshiba site, otherwise your FN keys work correctly! ;)

    In any case, for the FN keys, you need to install Toshiba Value added Package. With this package it is also possible to enable/disable the touchpad. It brings all the FN keys to work.

    As far as I know recovery disk can not be downloaded so I t understand what you did exactly.
    Anyway if material s notebook is OK you can install OS using original recovery DVD disc or install the OS by using the original installation disc for Microsoft.
    If you have the original recovery DVD (ask your friend if he or she has a) use it for installing the OS.

    (The name says it all) port replicator replicates the available ports on the laptop.
    If your laptop does not have this port, then you cannot use it with Port Replicator.
