Cannot install add-ons

I can't install add-ons. When I click on 'Install now' I get a message that reads "Stumbleupon could not be installed because Firefox is unable to modify the file necessary.".

I can not install additional modules.

12 Firefox is not the reset button.

You will need to upgrade to Firefox 13 if you want to use that button instead of the Terminal method to create a new profile to reset.

  • Cannot install add-ons for Firefox for Android

I have some add-ons installed. However, lately, when I try to install an add-on for Firefox for Android, I get an error message indicating that I have to install Firefox first.

Only, I use Firefox on my Samsung Galaxy S5 and would like to install more modules. Is there a setting that might make it appear the error message?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

  • Cannot install add ons os 6

    Nice day.

just bought the RN516 running OS6.4. everything looks OK so far. But while installing the module, I have noticed that it is never possible to install one of the Add-ons pre-registered through the want of the NAS page. I have always download and install manually. However, it has worked so far.

I do not think that the download/install treated well the websi NAS is supposed to "does not work.

Here, I have an idea or a genuine reason for it?

Thanks for the suggestions or recommendations.

    Thanks for the suggestions.

Network and DNS settings of course is the 1st thing to check and there is / was no issue. Incidentally OpenDNS (208.67.222.222/202) is just fine and preferred on Google's servers at this time.

I opened a support case, and it seemed a file permission / access right issue. Factory reset & new configuration user solved the problem. Fortunately, I was just at the beginning of the installation.

    What a relief :-)

Once again thanks for the help.

  • the pages won't load does not correctly and cannot install add ons

After installing Firefox on Windows 7, mozilla site and the addons page 29 does not load correctly. Some such problem indicated in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/992362 and I tried all the steps but still does not work.

OK Jefferson: did so. For those interested, my response on the other thread was:

«After stared grumpily the computer screen for a while after you posted my message, I suddenly realized that, although it checked twice, the date was in fact erroneous.» For some reason, the date to yesterday - which is obviously where my mind was still, because when I saw the date I thought Yes, "it is the right date." After that I put today's date, the problem disappeared. Curious that this one small issue should cause such a problem "profound." Anyway, all sorted. »

With Extension manager CC cannot install add-ons on Lightroom

    Help, please

    Dear Alexander

Please tell us the name of the product you are trying to install Lightroom. Most Lightroom products install in the folder downloads to your computer. Please search for a ZIP file in the folder downloads to your computer.

Have you checked the section "where to Find It' page of the product on the site of Adobe modules? This should give full instructions on installing your new product in Lightroom. If it's not, and you still have problems, please let us know.

    Kind regards

  • Unable to install add-ons

When you try to install a new Add On I get message "You need Firefox to install add-ons." and add to the occult Firefox button. Frustrating, because it is already installed of course to access the page in the first place!

You can enter Subject: config in the address bar, locate all preferences starting from general.useragent and ensure that they are in their default state (otherwise, a reset button will appear when you select them)?

  • Am not able to install add-ons in Firefox 11 as well as the fixes suggested here doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions?

Installed Firefox without add-on to display and 11. Tried to install Autofill Forms and I get the message "there was an error to install AutoFill Forms. Try Again"even for any other add-on. In addition, running Norton 360V6 and can't even see Norton Toolbar. Have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and 360 (the latter using Norton Removal Tool). Do not have this problem with Internet Explorer or Firefox 11 on my other computers. Just this one. An earlier version of Firefox plugins appears, but not no matter what Add-ons.

It is possible that there is a problem with the files that store the registry extensions.

Delete the files (extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini, extensions.cache) extensions.* and compatibility.ini in the profile folder of Firefox to reset the extensions registry.

New files will be created if necessary.

    See "extension corrupted files:

If you see disabled extensions, is not compatible, in "tools > Modules > Extensions ' and then click the Tools button, on the left side of the search bar (or click on the"Find updates"button in older versions of Firefox) to do a check of compatibility or to see if there is an available update compatibility.

  • Firefox ask me to install add ons evertime the opening... I disabled all of the updates.

now I use the latest version of Firefox (10.0). AprΦs the dΘmarrage, I open the Firefox browser. He always asks me to install the Add-ons that is already, I added to the browser.

    Ex:

I installed the firebug add-on. When I open a browser he asks me to install firebug again. After installing the browser must be restarted to activate firebug

So please reply me for this problem

    My guess:

You get a prompt to confirm what modules you have installed. There used to be a problem with other programs to install add-ons without your permission, and so many people knew they had these add-ons installed. Sometimes, these modules caused Firefox slow or unstable. However, there are some cases where people are aware of these modules being installed by third parties and they really want.

So in a Firefox update has a few months ago, a single confirmation prompt was added to ensure that you are aware of all add-ons that are already installed and allow you to select those that you want to keep.

Here is a blog about the feature: http://blog.mozilla.com/addons/2011/08/11/strengthening-user-control-of-add-ons/

    What do you see?

  • Firefox 4 is unable to install add-ons. After download the 'installation' bar stuck in the beginning and never ends.

Firefox 4 is unable to install add-ons. After download the 'installation' bar stuck in the beginning and never ends.
After that I updated to 3.6, FF4 to see any of my previous modules.
When you try to install the new, I see no error dialog box or message, just install bar is not going anywhere.

To anyone out there yet with this issue.
The solution that worked for me was to create a new user profile.
Give it a try, if it works you can just move your settings and other things more.

  • Cannot install add-on/extension

Guys, I am unable to install add-ons/extensions in Photoshop.

I recently bought the add-on "Jury of TKActions V4" and no matter what I do, I can't see in Photoshop. I followed the line advice to ensure creative cloud sync are lit and even resorted to install it manually via the extensions Manager. However, nothing seems to work. Someone at - it ideas?

This was solved by Adobe support and is a known issue for the moment. To get around it, I had to install Photoshop CC 2014 and then manually install the add-on - she then appeared in my version of 2015 (as well as my version of 2014).

  • Add - ons Manager pages appear as "text only"; Cannot download add-ons.

Just installed Firefox v28 on new computer running Windows 7 Home. Installation went well and my browsing experience was as expected. Then I open the Add-ons Manager to install the same extensions that I used on the old machine, but something is wrong.

The pages appear in a 'text only' weird format... scroll down and down... and down (screenshots). Navigation has been frustrating because all the following pages have been in the same weird format.

Then I went to the box 'search all add-ons' top right of the screen and registered the names of the extensions that I wanted. The search results page was text only but easier to navigate. However, no matter what extension I have
selected for install failed during download (screenshot).

What I've tried so far: deleted all the history, cookies, cache, etc, closed Firefox, then rebooted the machine. But the problem persists.

UPDATE: the problem resolved itself on its own. I left the machine in pure frustration. Returned two days later, and everything has worked well. Have a little problem with the site.

  • Do not click on to install add-ons

I've had the cameras installed at my place of work. Earlier, I had no problems with the download of the plugin and the opening of the site to see all the cameras. However yesterday I reinstall windows and firefox again. Now I try clicking on the link to download the plug-in but will pass nothing at all. (From the image below, normally when I click on "click here to download and install the plug-in. close the browser during the installation of the plug-in. ("the plug-in must be downloaded)

    However anything happen now.

I try to use another browser to download and install, then in 'Plugin', choose 'install add on file', he says "this addon can be installed because she seems to be corrupted," here's the photo of the addon, I downloaded (I try twice)

What should I do? PS. I try to use 'add images' below but it kept loading non-stop for more than 15 minutes already, so I try to display image in image hosting instead.

    Hi ironbear,.

If no shortcut for the 32-bit version is added automatically, you should be able to find it in a new entry for all programs menu, or you can create a shortcut from a file Explorer. The exe file for the 32-bit version of Firefox is here:

    "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla.

Right-click on the firefox.exe file and select "create shortcut". You will probably be asked to create on the desktop instead of in the current folder. If this isn't the case, you can move there manually.

The cameras are working now and if your issue is resolved?
