Hello Viposhan,

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple!

Looks like you want to reinstall OS X on your computer.  I will try to help you with this.

MacBooks 2007 came with OS X 10.4 (Tiger) or OS X 10.5 (Leopard) installed.  To reinstall the OS X on a Mac 2007 you need discs that came with the computer or the discs for any version of Mac OS X upgrade you bought.  Place the disc in the disc drive, hold the C key and turn on the computer.  It should boot from the disc.  Follow the prompts from there.  Recovery of the Internet did not become available until that models Mac later.

If you don't have the original disks, OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) would work for a computer in 2007 and is available on the Apple Store online here:

Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard

Have a great day!

  • Cannot install windows after reset of the partition

I've literally been sitting to my macbook for the last 10 hours trying to get my bootcamp at work, however after tons of things difficult and research I found online I'm always at a loss. Initially, I had installed windows 7 a few weeks ago for the second time (after that yosemite deleted my previous one during the upgrade) and everything was fine. Then, I took the decision to uninstall my windows because I really wanted to expand the size of my partition, then backed up all my files and used bootcamp to delete windows and re partitioning my hard drive to a single volume. However after this, and then following the same exact steps as before (running bootcamp and sharing in a larger space) once the restarts my laptop that it comes up with the message "No boot device - insert boot disk and press any key" instead start windows automatically load (as it did before). I've repeated several times in the hope that it would work once however I can't help but feel that there is a problem with my hard drive and when I try to check my hard drive (not the 'Macintosh HD' a top one) sometimes - (I say sometimes because it does not say this error when you try to check) said this :

I'm really not good when it comes to such things, so this information can be totally irrelevant, sorry! I had originally check my volumes a recovery when yosemite initially deleted to repartition my hard drive and reinstall windows. I really don't know what to do, any help would be appreciated. I have no knowledge in this subject what so ever but I feel that my hard drive is damaged somewhere (even if yosemite still works perfectly and all my files appear to be intact) or for some reason my boot loaders do not work...

I can provide more information if necessary, but quite frankly, I have no idea what I'm doing.

Thank you for taking the time to read this if you have!

    Hello

I recommend you contact the retailer that the information provided is false.

The product requires Mac OS X 10.5 or higher, as you can find the system requirements specified below:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02907978

One of the latest models requires Mac OS X 10.5 and above, however I think that you can always find some models of last year as 4500 Officejet, Photosmart C410 for example who make compatible with your operating system.

Keep in mind that I just bought this computer no drive at all, not video card and ram.  Since then, I've added a Virgin SSD, 24 GB of ram from database SYSTEMS of MEMORY and set in a Mac 7200LE GeForce GT 120. I tried to get all kinds of passwords, none doesn't work, but why should a password to get to the selection screen of startup by holding down the option key? It starts either DVD, the disc spins, but I just get the flashing icon with an exclamation mark.

Because the computer has a firmware password; This also disables the shortcut C. ask the seller the password, or if you have proof of ownership, contact Apple.

  • Cannot install OSX!

    Hello

Earlier today, I accidentally erased my drive HARD integer (own diskpart). It's true: no more side MAC and no recovery partition. I have a Macbook Pro mid-2009 which was given to me a month ago. I don't have the Mac OS x installation disc.

I tried to install Windows 8 and 10, but two installers stuck to the Windows Logo. I made a Yosemite OSX (from the Macbook Air of friend) bootable USB. Which stalls too. I tried two different usbs. At the present time, my hard drive 120 GB SSD is configured for Windows. It is empty because windows install has failed.

I'm at a loss to know what to do. What is going on?

Given that your Mac is too old to use Internet retrieval, you must boot from the installation for you DVD Mac and reformat the drive HFS + and partition GUID mapping.

Once you get this system reinstalled, you will need to upgrade the operating system from there.

If you do not have a valid backup, all your data will be lost by reformatting.

chipset drivers, device/video card drivers, sound card / drivers
and the credit card network / device drivers?  You can do now.
The easiest way is to visit the website of your computer manufacturer
If it's something like Dell, HP, Lenovo, gateway, etc.  There, you can
Find the support/downloads/drivers section and look for the drivers
for your computer model.  I suggest you obtain these updates.

Uninstall applications from any third party firewall (ZoneAlarm, etc.)
and use the built-in firewall of Windows only.

Log in as a user with administrative rights and open Internet Explorer
and visit http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ and select to make a
    CUSTOM scan...

Whenever you are about to click on something in these pages - web
first of all, press on and hold down the CTRL key while you click on it.  You can
release the CTRL key after clicking on each time.

Once the scan is complete, select that ONLY updates of high priority
(deselect all others) and install it.

    Reboot again.

If it worked - try the web page - selection not more than 3-5 a
    time.  Reboot as needed.

The optional software updates are generally safe - although I recommend
against the 'Windows Search' one and all of the "Office Live" those or
"Windows Live" which for the moment.  I would like to avoid completely the
    Optional hardware updates.

Seriously - do these things.  It's like antibiotics - do not skip a single
step, don't leave because you think it will be ok now - review
until the end, until you have done all given in the order shown.  If
you have a problem with a step to ask and let someone here, you get
Thanks to this step.  If you do not understand how to bring one back
and ask here on this step and let someone guide you through it.

Then - actually - that everyone here knows if it worked for you - or if
    you have more questions.

  • Cannot install C4780 printer on Mac

I'm trying to install my new printer Photosmart C4780 on my MacBook Pro, OX 10.6.  I downloaded the software for this version of Mac OS X (the CD has no support for 10.6).  At the beginning of the installation, I wonder for the device to install - but it cannot be found.  The instructions say DO NOT attach the cable USB front said to do, but even if I do that I can't find the device.  In addition, paper installation instructions say to follow the guide of Installer for easy wireless installation animation a button - but all this guide says is how to install printer cartridges.  I tried to reach the telephone technical support without result - especially get cut off by the system, but if I do not reach a real person, they tell me that they don't support Macs (even if I take the Mac option when selecting meny).  So, I can not install the printer (and scan) and can get no information on what to do. And, oh, the results of chat option online in an error message and the option to email "we will get back to you in an hour" did not place to answer in more than 12 hours.  It looks like a total collapse in the HP-land.  Anyone know how to install this printer on my Mac?

Your printer has WPS (Wi - Fi Protected Setup) in there.  This allows a very simple method to connect your HP printer wireless to your network Apple Airport Extreme Wi - Fi.

It's very simple: starting method WPS push button (printer menu the printer wireless), then proceed as follows:

    1. Open the utility (utility Applications) Apple's Airport
    2. Select your wireless router
    3. Select Manual Configuration
    4. choose Add Wireless Clients... in the menu of the Base Station
    5. Select the first attempt, and then press to continue.

You must begin the process of Apple Add Wireless customer within 2 minutes of starting the printer WPS push button method.  In fact, the order doesn't matter; You can start the process of adding customers wireless on the Apple router first and then start push-button WPS printer method.

With Snow Leopard, then all that's left to do is to install the printer.  Open the applet Print & Fax under system preferences, and then press the [+] sign.  Highlight your printer and click Add.

    You're done!

Print using the normal commands.  Scan using Image Capture or preview applications.
