Cannot install service packs for windows vista

I realized that my computer has never been able to install the service pack for vista. I bought the computer with vista installed. He was able to install all other updates except for service packs. When I try, I go to windows update and click start installation. It will appear to work for a while and he will say "Installing updates... 1 installation of 1... Office XP service pack 3. The green line will move along the line and then a box pops up saying '

The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or another removable disk that is not available. Insert the microsoft office XP Professional disk "and click OK."

Because I do not have a disk, I click on 'Cancel' and then I get the error 8024002D code.

Please help me! Thanks :)

    What should I do?

    Hello

    ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

    ·         You get the error message?

    ·         You are able to install other updates successfully?

    Follow these methods.

Method 1: Temporarily disable the security software .

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Method 2: Put the computer in a clean boot State to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow step 7 the link to start the computer to a Normal startupmode.

Method 3: You can also manually install updates (KB number) by downloading from the Microsoft Download Center.

If you would like more information, please proceed as follows:

1 display the full text, without paraphrasing, of any error message you get when you try to install a software of your choice.

    2. after the URL (link) of the Web site from which you downloaded the antivirus installation package.

    3. click on start, then run, then type the following command in the "Open" box and click OK

    Msinfo32.exe

When the windows of Information System fills, click on edit, and then click Select all. Click on edit, then click on copy.  Then paste (CTRL + V), the copied data in your response here.
