  I read your post about your graphics drivers installation problems and wanted to help.

  Some laptop models come with switchable graphics, i.e. the graphics chips Intel and AMD.  This is to open the Device Manager and see if there are two graphics cards.

  The drivers you need are under driver-graphics.

  IF you have switchable graphics, you need one; If not, you need the other.

• Studio 1735 and Adobe first Elements - error CODEC Audio IDT high definition

  Receive the error code in Adobe first Elements on my Studio 1735 trying to read the video capture.  Error is FFA-8-000 D; also says "failed to read.  The audio system does not appear to meet.  Maybe the card does not support full duplex mode.

  Any ideas or suggestions?  My sound card does not "full duplex"?  And if not, should I all options to update so it will be?

  I found a solution to our problem! I installed this driver Windows 7 in compatibility mode. You must remove this one for Windows 8.1 in programs and features, then download this version I have already mentioned, sole extract in a place where you want and install with compatibility mode. To do this, you must enter the configuration properties, then compatibility mode and select Windows 7, also check "Run this program as Administrator". This driver works fine for me.   I recently installed successfully IDT - Audio - IDT High Definition Audio CODEC and after that none of my audio worked. Everything indicates that the audio is working as usual, but no sound. Also, when I did a test "sound" in the control panel > sound, it is said "the test could not be played. (Translated from Finnish Windows Vista, but anyway). I went to IDT Audio settings (from the bottom right icon) and noticed that my headphones and speakers had been cut so I removed the 'secret' of these two, but nothing happened. I tried to restart the computer several times and recheck the IDT Audio settings but nothing found which could cause the problem.

  My HP Support Assistant tried to make me update this driver I have the computer in mid-August.  Same thing; whenever I have install the driver, there is no sound either - I have not known what you mentioned above on the sound slowly disappears.  Thahaseena, good to have you hear.  I am running Windows 7 family on a HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC.  After installation, there is no request to restart or stop to install updates; my sound card lists an error and I have to roll back the driver to make it work again.

  My driver date is January 13, 2010, version 6.10.6265.0.  It's one that I continue to back and it works.  I will install the update now and tell you what I get for audio driver is not working.

  Okay, that's a very clear answer. And im not happy with this. Not all providers do it as you say it's a lie. Why realtec comes with Manager audio soft preistalled? He never comes withuot it doesn't matter it is desctop or laptop. I think it's a thing of HP company to save money on low end pc parts, as a sound card as the card wifi and must be others (ralink, idt, terrible cooling system). As I said I saw on idt hd audio Manager google exist. So it must be pristalled with all the pc hp usess idt hd audio. Like to see HP began selling horses with 2 legs if understand you what I mean.

I have sloved my problem myself. thirst first I uninstalled the idt with whole software drivers, restarted the pc, windows has istalled base hd, form downloaded audio drivers drivers HP again, he unpacked in my chosen and installed foldger. Went through Control Panel and found ""Dolby advanced audio v2 " it wasn't there until I checked several times." So now I have full control of my sound card or let as much as it good for my needs. I hope that this will help others to slove the same problem if they have.

  Looking at the page "Download drivers and software" HP ENVY 23 - d000el TouchSmart all-in-One desktop PC , I see that there are no specific drivers available for Windows 10.

  Why did you reformat the system?

  What method did you use to install Windows 10?

  If you check in Device Manager, which appears in your sound devices?

  Have you tried to remove any audio device and then searching for the hardware changes?

  Please let me know.

• Lost SP2 driver audio IDT high definition Audio CODEC 1.0.5713 worm - 6

  After update to SP2, my audio driver was lost.  I tried to update/reload but who have not as well.  I then did a restore of the system for just after the update, but the driver was still missing.  I then resatored date back to before the update and the driver returned. Any ideas?

  I give up!  My driver is not restored after the SP2 update.  I'll do a system restore and go back to normal.  MS doesn't have a handle on this problem yet.
