  When I try to install the flash player to my windows vista, it appears to download but never works.  always get the message that I need to download it.  check the file I see is entered but not show

  Depends on what "type of plugin" you talk

  (1) If you are referring to NPAPI or PPAPI then it can be relatively simple.

  I try to install the newest Flash Player for 64-bit Firefox (it's actually a customized version called BlazingFast built on firefox 12.0). It is 100%, freezes, and then tells me that the ActiveX control cannot be saved. I'm running no antivirus (as my favorite is not yet compatible with Windows 8) and am using an administrator account. I tried running in compatibility mode for Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows XP, but nothing works.
