  At first, I must say that your laptop is designed for Win7 and maybe you should continue to use Win7. Problem is that laptop with the factory settings is quite slow but it can be changed.   (1) check if your CD has no scratches.
  (2) make sure that the DVD player lens is clean (dust). Otherwise, perform a cleaning operation using the stick of hydrophilic cotton and alcohol (make it very accurate and avoid making any what micro scratches).
  (3) back up all data from all partitions. Then start a new installation of Windows XP. In the settings, delete all your existing partitions (make sure, after that you have ONLY space unpartitioned) and then create new partitions to default size. Format these partitions in NTFS (fast) mode. Finally, install the system on the C partition.

  You will not be the drivers because this Vista designed for laptop is not supported by this old operating system. Maybe you can find the drivers for Windows XP Home edition, but not for W2000.
