  Hey, I think I found the cause! When I zoom the pages to a small enough size, I am able to connect to my account.some how the buttons do not work at higher levels of zoom page.

  Hi, help please. All of a sudden I couldn't login to my Vista Home Premium edition. I haven't forgotten my password, tried to use an id that has no password and it still does not work. No error messages, just does nothing when I enter my password.

  Thanks for the suggestions. t-4-2, I've already done this before, turned on the admin account and created a new user account. The two did not work. However, I managed to solve my problem. I used to restore the system (several times) and finally managed to find out what the problem was. Sound this update Windows Vista (KB973917) which is supposed to strengthen authentication.   The verification code required when you connect from an unknown location or machine is a feature of security relating to your account. This is to ensure that no one can easily connect to an account other than the account owner.

  If you travel very often so I suggest you to generate the recovery code.

  This recovery code can be used to validate your account whenever you connect from another location instead of validate by email address or phone number.

  To generate a recovery, please follow the steps below.
  1. go to Account.live.com with your email address and password.
  2. click on Security and password in the menu on the left side.
  3. once validate the account, click on generate recovery code .
  4. it will provide you with a 16 or 20-digit code which can be used the N number of times to access your
  account.

  Note: It is necessary to have an e-mail address and updated phone number when a security information, you can change or update the information at any time by connect you to account.live.com.

  I have currently an incredibly frustrating problem with the service that I can't go beyond.

  I have a Windows Live account I can sign by using live.com

  I picked up Batman Arkham City on Steam and at the start of the game, it requires that I connect to a Live! account. I select "use an existing account" and enter my details. The game then presents the key to game, I accept and then goes to tell me that the Windows Live account I gave cannot be connected to LIVE. There may be a network problem or the Windows Live ID service may not be available.

  Can you please tell me what I'm supposed to do here because I'm incredibly embarrassed for this service at the moment. Every time I try and play a game using LIVE, I have a problem, regardless of the computer that I use. If I try to play my game without signature then I tells me I can't save my progress! This poorly built and poorly managed service has cost me more than two hours of frustration tonight and many hours in the past.

  I tried everything I found on Google about this problem without success. Discover, this problem has been around for YEARS! How is that even possible?

• Cannot log into iMessage on desktop

  All of a sudden I can't connect to my office iMessage. Can connect to my office iCloud and this forum which has the same id and PW. Can also connect to App Store.

  iMessage works fine on my iPhone.

  I tried to reset my account PW and that did not help.

  It happened to me also when using El Capitan. I have never really thought about it, however, I noticed that it seems to be a timeout when I ping latency or there is a slowdown in the network. It doesn't seem to work the same on my iPhone but on the same network environment. I won't insult your intelligence here, but have you tried simply reset your mac? Maybe restart your router as well, or renew the lease. I'm curious to know how make you out with this...

  I went back outside and connected to my Mac to find that I had been signed out iMessage for some reason any.  Every time I try to sign get 1 of a few errors:

  1. an error occurred during authentication.

  2. check your connection.

  Yes, I use this form instead of the normal screen preferably.  This is because I did everything what I found on all posts about it.

  -Connection via my phone; I'm on wifi work and thought, they can block something.

  -Added a public DNS

  -Remove the plists

  -Start safe

  -Reset PRAM/NVRAM

  -Reinstall operating system

  It comes to my work computer.  I can't drop off at the Apple store for an indefinite period.  Please help me!

  I have also tried signing off iCloud and folder in.

  I just signed up an additional email address. I tried first hotmail, gmail now. Still get the same problems with a completely separate record. Can someone else please try to make a new record and see if you get the same problem. I can't work on my java application until this so fixed because I can not install the component package 5 without it, and I need stuff that has only been around for 5.

  After several days, which has elapsed, connect you using my email address as my user name now works.

• 8.1 Windows Mail app cannot connect into account
