Cannot make calls via laptop
I can't make a call via Skype on laptop, but works well for the iphone (even Skype account for both devices).
Every time I tried to make a call (after reinstall many times), it will close by saying "Skype has stopped working".
And the message in the box said "a problem caused blocking the program works correctly. Windows program and you warn if a solution is not available"(but the solution will never come).
Note that I use Windows 8.1 and I already set the compatibility mode...
Update your Intel video display driver compatible Windows 8.1 version. The currently installed version (9.18.10.3234) is designed for Windows 8.

Be sure to select the option Windows 8.1.
Also look at the other driver available for your laptop updates.

I try to have calls using my iPhone connected to my MacBook Air, but I have this message "your iPhone should use the same iCloud and FaceTime account.". This is something that surprises me because I can receive calls from my MacBook, but I can't make calls from my MacBook. There's someone who have / had the same problem?

I just bought Defy and I think that it is large, has many interesting features, but it does not call...
About 10 minutes after it's turned on, I can't make all the calls (from widgets, dialer, contacts...). As soon as I press the dial button, a pop-up says "call time 00:00. And then the call is terminated.
So I decided to 'factory reset '. But even after factory reset, this question is reproduced.
I have attached two files: one is the journal when I can make a call and the other is there is not possible to make calls.
A fact interesting, is that each time I start up (or factory reset) the phone, I can make calls for 10 minutes (approximately). After this time, if I want to call again, I have to start up the phone once more.
To receive calls/SMS, it works fine.
I think this phone is great, and I don't want to give it up.
Can someone help me please?

I just found the answer.
The problem is how Android deals with 'Blocking' and 'call forwarding '. If you try to change the settings, you can never reset these settings again...
I tried to use my SIM card from mobile phones very simple, and all show me the message "you can not call so that the call blocking is active... ». But I never changed the settings...
This also occurs with other suppliers of Android.
The only solution is: go to your company and ask them to change your current SIM card to a new (not your line number, just the SIM card). And do not use the "call forwarding" and "call blocking" in Android

I'm sorry, I'm so much distress that I want to cry. I just got my phone on April 4. Initiall, I have no problem receiving calls and shouting. All of a sudden, I'm not able to scream. However, I am able to receive calls. What do I do? Can someone please please help me? T ^ T
Yes, try airplane mode and the thing.
If it does not try to restart your machine in safe mode.
Press and hold the power botton > press and hold Power Off a message "Restart in safe mode" press Ok and then try to make a call. Just restart your device, and I will come back to normall.
If this does not work then try
1. turn off your device. Then remove the sim card (try cleaning the sim card) and leaving the powerd device off wirhout a sim card inserted for about 20 mins.then put the sim inside and power and then try to make a call.
2. If nothing works, try to download PC companion on your computer or your laptop and do a repair software

First of all, try to force reboot the phone by holding down the button sleep and home for 10 seconds, until the call logo comes back again. You won't lose data, but it can cure a few glitches.
If this does not work, set it back to factory settings and restore it again form backup, explained in this article:

If it does not, you will get the phone repaired.

Cannot make calls to the cell, only Skype
Everytime I try to dial a number, Skype appears as the default. I could not find the settings to change the phone back on to cell, seems that Skype just took over the phone. For crying out loud on cell phone I had to uninstall Skype. Help! I want Skype WiFi finally.

I just got a new laptop with the latest softwear Microsoft and McAfee. Everything works fine EXCEPT when I try to make a video call via Skype. I can see and hear the people on the other end, but they cannot hear me. The microphone settings seem to be OK. the antivirus that was installed would cause the problem? Sierra of MacOS - Siri cannot make voice calls.

Siri is supposed to be able to make phone calls via the iPhone, the Mac, in the Sierra de MacOS?
Cause I can make phone calls (not the Facetime calls) fine if I use the Facetime on Mac app and click on the phone number, I want to call, or if I take a certain number of Contacts. But if I try to open Siri and make a voice command to "call X", he always tries to do through Facetime. Which means he's trying to make a Facetime call instead of a voice call normal.
Is this a bug or missing feature? Is there a fix or a workaround for it? I wish I could use Siri on my Mac, just as I do on the iPhone.
I observed the same behavior, so I think it's a missing feature.
And page (below) which deals with Siri on Mac shows a command "FaceTime", but not a "Call" command (As I say, I used the "Call" command and observed the same behavior you did.)

The iPad can't make a phone call because it is not a phone. But there is a choice of applications such as Skype to make calls over the internet. The SIM card in an iPad has data only.

Sunday night my friend tried to call me, but my phone never rang, and when he sent me a text message telling me that I called my phone from the home line. SX20 Quick Set registered but can not make calls
We have several new SX20 units, two of which I installed and registered via SIP with UCM (v8.6.2, required a pack of devices). I can make a call to the SX20 since a regular IP phone (7961 - SCCP), answering the call to unity of telepresence and continue a conversation only one voice. However what composition of the SX20 the other SX20 or any other IP phone it briefly displays "call for binding", then it goes immediately to the "call was disconnected. I tried just the DN 4-digit, as well as the SIP URI of numbering. Here is a part of the log output of command line for the sx20 indicating the call SIP is rejected with a 403 forbidden message.
It is worth noting that before these devices, we have had no recorded via SIP, SCCP phone only. At this point, these devices don't need to dial outside of our network. I had a case open for two weeks and keep TAC is passed between the teams of telepresence and the AAU. I told them we have never had a SIP device registered with our University Complutense of MADRID before and if there is nothing else to be configured, the answer was nothing more for internal calls only. I'm trying to get escalated now, but thought I'd give forums a go. Any help is greatly appreciated, and I apologize if this question is that something is ridiculously simple.

A look at the logs on your case - looks like there is no number to call in the header AMATURES or Contact, so CUCM rejects the appeal and sends the 403 forbidden. Note the field 'From' below - should be sip:[email protected] / * /. What you configured as your SIP URI in your SX20? Not that familiar with the SX20, but on my EX90 in the laboratory, there is a field of a SIP URI for that I had to enter the DN @ address >. Anything on CUCM that would block the DN to be passed to the SX call to IP phone?
