  First post on this forum - so please, be gentle.

  I have a scanner HP Scanjet 6250 (the label on the back actually says "HP6270A"), and I used to use Windows XP.  The software didn't like Vista and HP does not publish a driver for Vista - so it sat on my desk for n years, simply too much room.

  I suddenly had the idea of using program compatibility Windows 7 to install the old software XP - I can't find the drivers/software disc.

  Went to the HP Web site but the only thing he could get to was an office a6270 or telling me that the material was is longer supported by HP.

  I'm surprised that seems to mean same legacy hardware use drivers removed servers!

  Any help with the drivers for this scanner and/or greatly appreciated precision Scan Pro software.

• Cannot resize Scrapbook - please help

  This is so it is, I wanted to print in shutterfly, an album that my grilfriend done in photoshop element, but does all this in a strange dimension that shutterfly don't wear, 9 x 10.25.   So I would like to change the size of the book to 8 x 8 or 8 x 11.  However, I have tried everything and have not been able to do.  I tried certainly going in the image menu and then doing a resize, but everything in the image menu is dimmed, with the exception of rotation.  FYI, everything in the menu layers is also grayed out.  Please can someone help resize this book.  Thank you very much

  If you open a page in the editor, you say that when you go Image > resize > Image size, it is grayed out? (I mean the ESP, not the PDF).

  I suggest you follow the given steps and later a update on the State of the question.

  a. Open advanced by clicking the Start button, then on sharing settings Control Panel. In the search box, type network, click network and sharing Center, and then in the left pane, click change advanced sharing settings.

  b. expand the home or work network profile.

  c. under the password protected sharing, click turn off password protected sharing, and then click save changes.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

• AIP-SSM20: cannot change password - please help

  Reset the password using the hw-module command.  But now I can't change the default password of cisco.  she rejects any combination of password that I tried, uppercase, lowercase, numbers and the characters not alphanumeric.  It's probably requrement of password policy that I put forward.  How can I work around this problem and restore default setting?

  What? AErender is not located on your desktop, you know. There is nothing to do with the AE, it's basic stuff Windows. Navigate to the folder AE or add AErender to your system variables, so it can be called from anywhere.

  In your efforts, you mention in step #6 you save the file as a PDF secure. Applied security files cannot be previewed to the customer, that's why you get the message "cannot preview filetype please download the file for display. This message preview complete and preview the hover. After downloading the file, you should be able to access it without error (within the limits of the guarantee applied).

  The hover behavior you report is expected. If you hover over a file name, you will see "hover" noticed after a few seconds, that will get you a small preview of the file (rather than having to open it in the overview).
