Hi Emma,
Welcome and thank you for visiting Microsoft Answers forum.
To change the folder in which Windows Photo Gallery stores your photos click on file > options > go to the Import tab, and where it says register to select the folder you want to save to.
I hope this helps you.
Thank you

After that I bought my Time Capsule I set up and connected to the internet. Problem is that I have 2 networks who I can connect it is: GMZ - 83313 and Daniel Wi - Fi network (finally...) I have three really because I started to play with it more and I have network of Wi - Fi for the 3rd networkDaniel 5 GHz ;(

I just want to add that yesterday I was able to transfer photos from my time capsule and it showed here where you can see GMZ-83313. Yesterday, it was Ant Time Capsule of Daniel it was working fine.

I'm lost please help. I have attached a shot of my airport utility screen:

Click gmz-83313 under the Shared heading in the Finder window

A folder that represents the Time Capsule... hard drive that is named 'Data', unless you have changed the name... appears in the window on the right

You can drag and drop the files to the disc on the desktop icon or the open window

  • Cannot move the window after resizing

    From: bronzefree

Resize the Media Center window and inadvertently it moved off the screen.  I tried using the 'move' tab bar tasks, does not.  The multi-directional arrow appears, but can not grasp anything.  My 'reduced' Media Center window seems permanently blocked off-screen!

I can only use enlarged, which is of course not what I want to do.

When I "minimize", I see "stolen" to the left of the screen of the monitor.

Someone at - it suggestions?  I'm listening, and I appreciate it!  Thank you.

It is always better if you include your question in the body of your message.

Try this... Go to your "Pictures" folder... Select the photos you want
Click on the memory card... right in the selected group, then in the menu...
Choose... Send to / removable disk (f) or (g) removable disk?

FWIW, the photos must be in a folder on the memory card or you will be

I am the administrator, but something is preventing me access to a large number of programs. Can someone please?

    Hello

Same thing happened to me. You can try to give the permissions for the given folder.

Try to follow the instructions below.

  • Cannot move the window or use Firebug

I can't resize or move my firefox browser window.

Fire bug does not respond when I try to click on anything in it, so can download windows (such as save or cancel not windows Explorer) with bonus dialog boxes often lose focus (while standing in front of) leading to unwanted click the web page behind them.

I FOUND THE SOLUTION, so I realized that my bar of charm windows 8 also did not work and thought that if I couldn't fix the browsers I would fix that.
Picture of example of charm Bar

This lead me to having to perform a safe boot to see if it worked, out of curiosity, I also tested fire fox and it did not work as well.

I disabled an apparently defective Trillian messenger and now everything works as if it were before (trillian uninstalled because I do not use it in any case).

    Hi kstormu812,

    Welcome to Microsoft answers forums!

I would like to know the following information to help focus in the right direction.

    a. don't you make changes to the computer before this problem?

    b. don't you make changes to the windows photo gallery settings?

    c. What is the exact error message and error code?

    d. you are able to see other images saved on the computer with no problems?

    e. What is the file format of the photos or videos?

If you have a third party photo editing software, try removing it and see if that will help.

Note: Please try this step only if you can recover the program.

Gallery Photo will show images with any of these file types:

    ·         BMP, JPEG, JFIF, TIFF, PNG, WDP

If Windows Movie Maker is installed, photo library will also play videos in these types of files:

    ·         ASF, AVI, MPEG, WMV.

If you view files, that are other than the files listed above, you will need to convert them to the format mentioned above.

  • PC control is no longer the printer to print in color from the windows photo gallery

printer will receive the photo of the Gallery, but will only print in black and white.  I printed a test page for my printer without going through the computer and it will print in color.  Also, if I scan a picture and print it, it is printed in color, so I don't think that my printer is the problem.  I think that my computer does not have my printer to print in color?

I think my problem is in the Windows Photo Gallery rather than on the computer that sends a command to the printer?

I recently had some viruses removed from the computer and I wonder if in the process of fixing that, the person at the other end may have changed the settings or something related to sending a command from the PC to the printer?  Is this possible?

    Hello

    1. what operating system is installed on your computer?

    2. What is the brand and model of the printer and the computer?

    3. have you made changes on your computer?

If you are using windows 7, I suggest you to see link and check.

    Choose printing options

    Assuming you are using Vista...
Windows Photo Gallery is just an 'intermediate '. Real images are stored in a folder. Usually, it is in the pictures folder.
Click the Start button > right side, click on the photos.

Now, the pictures that you received in the mail came as attachments?
If so, and assuming you are using Windows mail...
Right-click on the "trombone" (attachment) > click on save attachments > place you in the folder of your choice (the destination where the photos will be saved in) > click Save.

Photos are now saved in the folder you selected. For the benefits of others looking for answers, please mark as answer suggestion if it solves your problem.

  • Error unknown 0x88982F50 when you try to change the properties of a JPEG file in the Windows Photo Gallery

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack1 and use Windows Photo Gallery to managemy photos. I like the fact that I can integrate tags and ratings in JPEG files.

I just noticed though, that the tag is no longer to be stored in the JPEG file. I know because when I saw the properties of the file tag information I have in the Windows Photo Gallery is not present. If I try to change the properties directly, I get an error message stating:

An unexpected error prevented the operation. Make a note of this error code, which might be useful if you get additional help to resolve this problem: 0x88982F50 error: No. Error Description available.

    I checked the file isn't read-only etc.

I searched Microsoft.com for this error and have found no help. I searched the internet and have seen many forums to raise this issue, but I can't find a solution.

Note that when I try to fix an image in Windows (eye of harvest/red etc.) Photo Gallery, I also get an error that says I can't save the changes.

For me, it looks like a component is faulty or missing, but how is it resolved?

    Hi RealPaulus,

    Solution for error 0x88982F50:
1 open the Task Manager by right-clicking the taskbar

of the screen that says "show processes from all users".
and click on it. Click on 'Continue' in the UAC prompt that
    rises.

    4. the screen should turns off a moment, and then return with
many more listed processes. Click on the column "command."
Line"to sort the list and search for:

    "C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmpnetwk.exe"

Read the description in the next section on:

Windows Media Sharing Service reader network

    5. click on this process. Click the end «»
Treat button"at the bottom right of the screen.
    Confirm 'End process' if necessary.

6 perform the steps 1-5 before opening a Windows Explorer
window for the first time in the current session.

Eliminate that a will of the Task Manager process
Restore Windows Explorer ability to 'see' as well as
'Add', 'remove' or 'edit' Tags or other properties to a file to
    JPEG files.
