  If I read this correctly, you have a portable computer that do not have an operating system on it.  You try to install Vista and get the error.
  You've restarted the Vista installation?  So then you get the same error? If you have tried to install more than once and continue to receive this error, check that the laptop is capable of Vista?  You may need to check with the manufacturer of the laptop to see if it is able to support Vista.   So far I had worked on many projects with no problems and then a few weeks ago, project crashing non-stop. The problem has been resolved when I got rid of all the MP3s and diverted to RAM. Once again, it was a problem that I had not in the past and I don't remember changing anything whatsoever.

  Now, it seems that it is impossible for me to export/rendering a project in a Quick time or same AVI file. If its quick time, I get this message: unable to make failure of After Effects error one module output. The file may be damaged or corrupted -1610153464 and if I am trying to export with AVI I get this message: cannot open projects in the background AE 26: 142)

  What is happening with the various projects.

  I have read the forums on hearing that the problem may be a Bug with quicktime and H.264? I never had a problem with it before, but even once when I try to export AVI I get this error message:

  QuickTime H.264 is terrible. Do not use it.

  Use the AVI file, you have created in your Adobe Media Encoder and use the parameters of H.264 there.
