  Did you check help-> updates to see if they are available? You probably don't have the latest version of Camera Raw that was compatible with Photoshop elements 12 installed.

With the corrupted Inbox mail list, I could see that only important mail was missing, and I managed to recover the contents of the Inbox corrupted with Notepad ++.

  Finally, I changed my server access options so that messages will be deleted from the server of my ISP only 2 weeks after the download. Since I do weekly backups, it is more than enough.
