Cannot open COM1. Please check your port settings

I have some XP SP2 workstations that are used in the factory.  I use Clonezilla to reimage the workstations (Yes, we have valid licenses for all units) where you have to replace a hard drive or have warranty work that requires a new installation.  We have put arrangements in place on the specified comm ports.  The printer is connected to COM1.  When I test the appliance to make sure that all devices work, the test of the printer will not open COM1.  When I use Hyperterminal to test COM1, I get the message "cannot open COM1. Please check your port settings. "I checked the BIOS of a workstation and compare it to the non-working station.  Corresponding to all of the information correctly.  When I check property COM1 resources, the station problem looks identical to the right station and no conflicts.  IRQ 04 corresponds to the current setting.  To get the desktop put open COM1, I open COM1 properties, resource tab, uncheck and then re - check the box "Use automatic settings" without applying the Statute to uncheck.  After having double checked the "use automatic settings", I click OK.  I then go back to see what the parameters are.  He changed his IRQ 07.  This modification works until the computer has been restarted so the following steps must be applied again.  Also, if I perform these same steps on a workstation, I get the same results with the change IRQ.  I don't have the problem with comm except COM1 ports.  We use the software in a box.  Change to use a different comm port is not an option.

It seems that the cloning process is causing the problem.  Clonezilla is fast and reliable with the exception of what seems to be a problem of comm port.  I'm looking for someone who can tell me what settings can I change to make COM1 to work without having to go through additional steps after the workstation is restarted.

    Please make sure that there is no Proxy setting on your network and also check that you are logged into admin and not as mobile admin. You can also try to connect the MAC to a Wi - Fi network to different/open or Mobile Hotspot and disable all antivirus on MAC titles and try to check if the creative cloud app works.

    I'm launching the CC Office tab in the menu at the top of my macbook pro bar. The "CC" icon is grayed out now and the message I get when you click on ' impossible to get on the Adobe servers. Kaspersky was apparently the culpit. Dell Inspiron 32 now much faster but the printer will not work little matter what I do. I tried to reload with drivers & utility CD, drivers uninstalled & reinstalled on the site of all nothing is? Can someone help?

    "ADW_DEV_REP" scheme gave a grant to select this table in a role of selection (i.e. ' ADW_DEV_REP_SELECT') SELECT 'DEVETL_OAE' 'INFA8_INS_NEW'.

    I can run a query in sqlplus and I am able to access this table as "select * from ADW_DEV_REP." INFA8_INS_NEW'.

    But, SAQ, when I try to create the region and source, when I'm trying to ' select * from ADW_DEV_REP. INFA8_INS_NEW' sql, I get the error message like "Query cannot be parsed, please check the syntax of your query. (ORA-00942: table or view does not exist) »

    What should I give manual grant to the schema 'DEVETL_OAE' on ' ADW_DEV_REP. INFA8_INS_NEW' table?

    I have a workaround which is a little less boring that the patch "restart the PC": If you get the error where MYOB crashes when you try to send an e-mail, open Task Manager (ctrl-alt-del or right click on the start bar), then go to the "Processes" tab and close all instances of wlmail.exe using the button "complete the process".

    It seems that this error occurs if you have Windows Live Mail opened when you try and send emails of MYOB. If you then close WLMail after that get the error the process seems to never close, so you have to close it manually. If you send all your emails with closed WLMail MYOB it seems to be OK.
