    Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac. There is a third part of Firefox 4 version that works under OS X 10.4/10.5 and PPC Macs, for details, see http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox

    This problem can occur if the update was not able to update all the files.

    Do a clean install (re)-:

    • Uninstall your current version of Firefox and remove the Firefox program folder before installing this copy of the Firefox installer.
    • Do not erase personal data if you uninstall the current version.
    • It is important to remove the Firefox program folder to delete all the files and make sure that there is no problem with the files that were the remains after uninstallation.

    Your bookmarks and other profile data is stored elsewhere (not in the Firefox program folder) and will not be affected by a relocation, but make sure that you do not select delete data of a personal nature if you uninstall Firefox.

  • Computer startup that Firefox runs great. After the closure of this UO several times, the icon does not work anymore and you cannot restart Firefox without having to restart. Why?

    At the start of new computer, you can load Firefox OK. After closing repeatedly, the icon on the desktop won't open Firefox... or go to programs and click on Firefox. The only way you can get it working again is to restart the computer, but then you only bring up Firefox several times again without haviing to restart. I even tried to restore the computer to earlier dates without result. If I use Internet Explorer to open Firefox the same thing happens. I tried to remove Firefox and reinstall, but it tells me that Firefox must be closed to continue. I don't see where it is open. Advisor

    Try the pref gfx.content.azure.enabled set to false or if this does not help disable Direct2D by setting the pref gfx.direct2d.disabled true on the subject: config page and leave hardware acceleration enabled otherwise.

    This way you still have the advantage of hardware acceleration, but can not suffer rendering problems.

    Alternatively, you can try to uninstall the update of Windows KB2670838 if you have this update.

    Try disabling hardware acceleration in Firefox.

    Hi, spoke with 3 technicians today and not found any solution to the problem. I even went as far as buying the Malwareby Anti_malware and found NO problem. Again, I can not open firefox by clicking on the icon. It has been uninstalled and reinstalled.

    Operating system

    Vista

    COR - el has already given the path to the file (I pronounced cor - el noticed you are on Vista and it gave the correct path as on Windows XP;)

    C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox

    Now, download the profiles.ini file (if there is none, create a new text document and rename profiles.ini), open it with Notepad and put in lines

    [[General]
    StartWithLastProfile = 1

    [[Profile0]
    Name = default
    IsRelative = 1
    Path = Profiles / zft4mn0r.default
    Default = 1

    Create folders

    C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles

    and

    C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\zft4mn0r.default

    Now try running Firefox in Mode safe:

    There should be a shortcut:
    Start-> programs-> Mozilla Firefox-> Mozilla Firefox(Safe Mode)

    If this shortcut is missing, you can start safe mode by clicking on 'Search' and enter,
    one of them:

           * firefox -safe-mode
           * "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -safe-mode

    Anything help?

  • Cannot open Firefox on Yosemite

    I've updated to Yosemite Macintosh yesterday, and I can not open Firefox. I had 33.0.1 at the time and have since updated to 33.0.3, but this does not solve the problem.

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode to fix the problem and to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    When I try to open Firefox I get this message, the application could not start properly (0xc0000022). To open it, I have to do a restore to the previous version. A time to do an update and a reset, but neither helped. Once I close out I have to go the same way next time. I don't want to uninstall and reinstall because I don't want to lose my favorites. Someone has an idea?

    Some problems occurs when your Internet security program has been implemented.
    trust the previous version of Firefox, but not more acknowledges your
    update as being approved. Now how do I solve the problem: to allow
    Firefox to connect to the Internet

    • Make sure your Internet security software is up-to-date (for example, you are using the latest version)
    • Delete Firefox to list your program of trusted or recognized programs, then add it again. For detailed instructions, see

    If I'm not wring so I understand that you have a uninstalledalled of instOnce CC desktop application which asks you to purchase whenever you try to use CS6.

    If that's the case then you can use the cleanup tool to uninstall the desktop app CC as well as the CS6 use the Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool to solve installation problems

    Once uninstalled and then re install the CS6 from the disc or the direct download link. Other downloads
