Cannot open iTunes Store, but can play music in iTunes

iTunes opens normally. Plays music from my library without any problem. Access radio stations and 'my account' with no problems BUT the iTunes Store will be open.

This is true for my account and my wife. I can access iTunes and the iTunes Store without problems on other machines.

I started by reinstalling iTunes without result - and again with "revo uninstaller - clean the registry with CCleaner. No change
Disabled the firewall, but no difference.
Windows open in Mode safe mode (with networking) with everything accept turned off Apple programs. No luck.
Ran sfc/scannow - no problem.
Trouble Shooting compatibility - fair States "iTunes is incompatible" with no solution.
I tried iTunes support but is too slow
Tried to "Just Ask", who tried to solve it, but without success.
Has anyone out there had this problem.

Hi David, 65.

This looks like a problem with iTunes itself. You must follow with the help of iTunes for better assistance.

  • I use Windows XP SP3 and cannot open My Documents, my pictures, my music and my computer

Original title: can not open files

I use Windows XP SP3 and cannot open My Documents, my pictures, my music and my computer. I get no errors, but nothing happens when I click on one of them.

    Hello

Thanks for the reply. I managed to solve the problem before you receive your advice to defragment my hard drive. I had the problem on / off power for about six months and defragmentation has not always been successful success so when it happens then I will go through the procedures that you have listed. I have installed and uninstalled various applications in the last six months and suspect that the register is not in optimum condition... I have a problem during a shutdown or reboot stop where I get an error of tfswctrl.exe I close and the system then hangs and requires a medical examination. Is there, by chance, a Microsoft utility that cleans up the registry for applications that have been uninstalled, but be persistent pieces that shouldn't be there?

    Thanks again for your advice.

  • Why cannot open itunes with windows 10

Why cannot open iTunes with windows 10

For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.

The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. (Yes, I see that you've done that but maybe not the specific deletions which are mentioned).

Review the other boxes and other support documents list to the bottom of the page, in case one of them applies.

More information area has direct links with the current and recent buildings if you have problems to download, must revert to an older version or want to try the version of iTunes for Windows (64-bit-for old video cards) as a workaround for problems with installation or operation, or compatibility with QuickTime software or a third party.

Backups of your library and device should be affected by these measures but there are links to backup and recovery advice there.

  • Cannot connect to the App Store, but can connect to iTunes

    Hello

I just bought my 2011 macbook pro model and tent put up however when I log in my details for identification for apple Apple store the Dungeon of the wheel rotates forever beside the details of the account and the next screen is not coming. I skipped the whole upward and opened the Mac operating system and tried to open a session on apple store directly, but always the same wheel turns in an interesting way, I can connect to iTunes. What is the problem with my macbook?

    Thank you

    Firat

Note: I checked the internet connection and the software updates, and there is no problem with them.

I'm having a similar problem. The App Store icon shows that there is an update but when I open App Store I get the spinning wheel but nothing else. Any category I click (features, Top Charts, updates, etc.) I get the same. Help of the App Store is the same. I have not had problems before. This is on a Mac Mini (mid 2011) 10.11.3 running. App Store says Version 2.1 (459). Everything else seems to work very well. Anyone have any ideas?

  • On my work PC, I can play music stored on my Macbook at home

My son gave me a large USB hard drive on which he had copied all my CDs we have connected the HD to an old Mac laptop, we had at home and all those titles (titles only, file copy off) imported into my ITunes library, using my AppleID.

I thought it would be like a "music personal cloud Server" who would have access no matter where I was, at work or on the road.  But on my Windows PC at work, when I open the Windows of ITunes version and log with my AppleID, I don't see my music anywhere.  There is nothing in the recently added or recently played.

Is there a 'cloud' special feature that must be enabled in ITunes on the iBook?  Or do we use older equipment with older versions of the operating system? Or am I simply mistaken and operating under a misconception, that ITunes will allow me to create a personal music server for playing music on my CD imported into ITunes?

The last of them, you are wrong in how you think things are working.

If you want to have access to your music CD, while at work, you will need to subscribe to iTunes game or AppleMusic, so a copy of the articles on your drive home are transferred to iCloud. Logging in to your iTunes Store account, as you do now will show purchases you made on the iTunes Store, of which a copy is nominally kept permanently in iCloud for re - download.

Note that by using any of the subscription services may alter how your library because iCloud now becomes the center of your storage media, in particular with regard to all mobile devices that you own. People also the misadventures of report (of maybe their fault, maybe Apple) and lost points. I'll make sure you always have a solid backup or two before using any of the services.

  • Apple Watch quick game launch, but never plays music

I have a Apple Watch combined with an iPhone 6.  All software updates for watch OS and iOS are installed.  I also have an active subscription to Apple's music.

When I type on Quick Play on the watch, he started but he never plays music.  I tap on the play symbol and it turns the pause symbol as it is to start playing, but it goes back to the symbol of game.  Also, when I press play on the watch symbol, I can see a tab for Quick Play pop up on the iPhone music app, but it disappears after a second.

I tried the following, and no correction this problem:

    • Erase content and watch settings.
    • Reset the data synchronization on the watch.
    • Erase content and settings on the iPhone.
    • Synchronize the watch to another iPhone (5 s).

I don't know if this is a problem with the watch or music on the iPhone app. I suspect it is a problem with the iOS App music since this problem occurs even when I paired my watch to my other iPhone.

Everything else works like bat 1, my music and Playlists (I see that the watch as I have in the music library of iCloud).  This problem is only with Quick Play.

I just bought the Apple Watch 2 days and I don't think what the exchanged will solve this problem since it seems to be a software problem.  I Googled that everywhere and I have not found an article or a discussion with the same problem that I am experiencing.  I have a ticket open with Apple Support and she was refitted to the genius, but I can hardly believe I'm first since Apple Watch is out for quite awhile.

Does anyone have any ideas?  Thank you!

I have the same problem with my iPhone since the latest iOS updates and watch OS 5. It worked fine before.

  • Apple Watch can play music through its built-in speaker?

I do a decent amount of race and the latter I ran with my phone and just play music on the built-in speaker. It's nice to not have to helmet bouncing around and it feels safer because you can hear the traffic and so on.

When first announced, I was under the impression, given that a built-in speakerphone, you'd be able to play the music stored on the watch through said pregnant. I haven't seen all the posts about this and now think that it is false.

    So that you can?

Obviously, the quality and the volume would be questionable, but still, I feel that it would be nice to have the option. Thank you!

    Hello

It is not possible to play music from the playlist synchronized via the loudspeaker on Apple Watch.

On the contrary, your watch can be coupled with a Bluetooth headset to listen to music when you run.

    Hello

Uninstall everything according to the instructions from Apple:

«Remove and reinstall iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7»

    http://support.Apple.com/kb/HT1923

It is also the same list of what to remove what is in the link above from Apple:

    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/findbyerrormessage/a/MSVCR80-DLL-not-found-missing-error.htm

Or try this program to remove it:

    http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html

Then, download and save the iTunes on the desktop > then right click > select run as administrator to install.

If the advice already given does not, please contact Apple for assistance.
