  I'm having a lot of trouble trying to remove files from the Digital Image, Library 2006 Starter Edition.  It is in such a mess with files for all my music files, Readme files and many other files that have no photos or videos.  I tried everything to remove these including uninstalling and reinstalling without the time, but it keeps always pick up these files and is therefore very difficult to find the image or video file that you need.  I want to delete all the files in the library and implement only the image and video files, which I need.  Can anyone help please?

  Hi volunteer J - I found the POD PD3 file, but when I go to change the type of file to the FORMER, he said that changing a file extension can render the file unusable.  I have copied all the Microsoft file along with the POD file, but wonder whether he should actually do this.  Advice please. -Thank you

  It's just a standard message warning... If you renamed the file back to Pictures.pd3 all
  would be as it was before you it renamed to Pictures.OLD.

  Of course rename will make it unusable, but it's what you need to do if you want to delete the library.

  Renaming or deleting the file Pictures.pd3 will force the Digital Image to create a new Pictures.pd3 file.

  If the warning message affects you... try to rename this OLD_Pictures.pd3 way

  I guess that you know, that the Starter Edition is only a 60 day trial version?

  1. what happens when you try to open any .exe (executable) files? You get the error message?

  2. you remember to make changes to the computer, after which the issue started?

  I suggest trying the Microsoft Fixit and/or manual steps from the following links and check if it helps:

I went into the Control Panel, I removed & reinstalled the Digital Image, but all files keep coming back.  Digital Imaging tells me I have 4000 photos stored there!  If I do, where are they?  I can't find them!   Is there something else I can do?

  named Pictures.pd3 who is not deleted when the program is

  If you rename Pictures.pd3 to Pictures.OLD... the next time you
  Open the library, it will be because it was the first opening.

  Windows XP... the Pictures.pd3 database file is located at:

  POD\Pictures.Pd3

  If you can't find the file, open a file and
  Reach... Tools / Folder Options / View tab on...
  Tick... Display the hidden files and folders / apply / OK.

  I think the problem is that the path you specify is invalid for a goal of RT. On the RT, the 'path' should just be the name of the inspection. If you look at help for the VI open Inspection, it says to use the get target Inpections VI to see what paths for all controls are... sometimes the path is a name of numbers subsequent, though it may not be what you think.

  I recommend you completely configure the computer in a clean boot state by following the article provided in the previous post. Later, check to see if the problem persists.

  I use Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2 to manage my photos of 12'000 (with tags) and I'll switch to Lightroom. But I can't import the .psa catalog in Lr2.3.

  LR can read only catalog .lrcat, .lrdb and .aglib!

  I've renamed .psa catalog catalog .aglib etc but nothing happenend.

  My idea, I will:

  1. install PSE 7,

  2. read the .psa catalog (is it possible?)

  3. the export in the catalog .lrcat, .lrdb or .aglib (is it possible?)

  4. can import them with Lr with all tags

  Is there an easyer do?

  My brain is in turmoil:-------.

  PSE7 should be able to convert your catalog. I don't really know, I haven't tried and haven't read on the conversion of the catalogues of PSA Starter Edition, but I'm optimistic.

  The problem is that the latest version of Lightroom will not read the catalogs PSE7. Probably when Lightroom 3 comes out, it will read the catalogs PSE7. So, I search the Internet to see if there is somewhere to download the demo version of PSE6 or PSE5. If you do not have one of these versions, they are converted as well your PSA catalog. Lightroom converts certainly PSE5 and PSE6 catalogs.

  But there is definitely something strange happens with files PNG out of After Effects in Illustrator.

  I've done an export .png of AE CC2015 and place in Illustrator CC2015. The file was invisible. The transformation Panel X and Y as nan px and the W and H as nan px.

  The file opens correctly in Photoshop and can be used when re-recorded.

  1. are you aware of changes to the computer before the show?

  2. is it limited problem specifically with Microsoft Paint?

  I suggest you perform the steps:

  Method 1:

  Put the computer to boot and search for the issue.

  A few things to try...

  • Using Windows Explorer navigate to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader, and then double-click Eula.exe and accept the license agreement
  • You can open Adobe Reader by itself?  If so, try to disable the Protected Mode [Edit |] Preferences | (Improved) security].
  • If Reader opens in itself, try to disable the Safe_mode in the registry; Download, unzip, then run the attached registry script
  • It might even be a malware problem; See http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/reader-core-dll-error.html

  Since I purched Coolpix S9300, I cannot save pictures after I have change in Microsoft Digital Image Pro 10.  I have a new computer with Windows 8 and still the same problem (the old computer is Windows XP and could not save the edited either images).

  It's just ordinary .jpeg, not in read-only files and I have no other problems with previous cameras, just this one.

  I can, however, edit them on Photo Shop and then save them... but I don't like this show as I do Microsoft Digital Image Pro 10! I would rather work with this program.

  Has anyone ever got this message of particular error and, if so, what have you done about it; so that the DISAE open reliably EVERY TIME?  Thank you.

  Hi Ganesh, thanks for trying.  I tried a different approach.  I used a program uninstaller - Revo Uninstaller - completely uninstall MS DISAE, including all registry entries associated with it could find.  Then I reinstalled DISAE.  This seems to have fixed the problem, so maybe it was a registry entry that program uninstaller left behind.

  I still don't know why the EULA appears in Japanese characters... but if the program works, I guess it doesn't matter.

  What do you think average with "I tried with the restore CD but nothing '? Have you tried to completely format your HARD drive? I had a similar problem, but in my case it was because of the transplant of BONE... so I reinstalled the system from the beginning and it was ok.
  If you can not solve this problem with the cd supplied by the factory... I think it might be a hardware problem, probably due to the HARD drive. Your HARD drive makes strange noises, like "Click - Clack"?

• Cannot open files in Photoshop CS6 Extended MPEG-2

  I work in WINDOWS 7.  When I try to open the video files to edit in Photoshop CS6 Ext. I get the following message: "Could not complete your request because the video file could not be opened."

  I tried opening in bridge.  The videos will play Bridge but when I go to 'Open with' CS6 is not listed (but CC is - although I just got a trial at this stage).  If I open the demo version of CC and try to open the MPG/MPEG-2 file, I get the same message.

  I installed GSpot and it says that the CODEC is installed - see screenshot.

  Help would be sincerely appreciated!

  

  Cannot open DVD multiplexed files about any normal editing application. You have to convert / transcode using the brake hand or other tools.
