Reset IE as default value even if it already seems that is first, and then restart it.

Control Panel | Add/Remove programs. Set Program Access and Defaults. Custom + down arrow | Choose a default browser. Select the Internet Explorer radio button.

  • Cannot send the PDF with Outlook Express.

PROBLEM SENDING FILE PDF WITH OUTLOOK EXPRESS.

Here's what's happening.  I created a PDF file in adobe 4 pages, I can reach the PDF file to a mail sent in Outlook Express, but I see where he treats of it says part 1, part 2, part 3, all the way to part 7, when there are only four pages.  The recipient gets 7 different emails and cannot open an any of them.    I have a yahoo email and I can send the PDF file there.   Just frustrating.  I use Windows XP.  Not familiar with computers but I would like someone to tell me the problem.  It has worked before and I don't know what happened to create the question.  Thank you.

Tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Advanced. Uncheck the box: "Break apart messages...". ».

    General precautions for Outlook Express:

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

Information on the maximum size of the .dbx files that are used by Outlook Express:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/?kbid=903095

After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the processors and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs and account setting changes. Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:
    http://www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3

  • After the reinstallation of 9 cannot open the links included in my e-mails.

I contact your support staff of Microsoft, but since I can not open the thread, I can't keep going.

I had trouble with IE9 for about 16-18 months. Geek Squad has spent months trying to figure what was wrong with my computer, and they said many of their clients have the same problem. I was told to choose either Google or Firefox. I use Firefox for a few months, but I find that it is unstable.

My brother came home and rebuilt my computer. I have a new hard drive, video card, my processor Intel 7 handles documents and a new 250 Samsung SSD manages operating system, more he doubled the memory. I've been complaining about the Firefox, so he suggested since I was practically a set of new systems, reinstall IE9 I've done. Now, the problem is opening links in e-mail messages.

The error I get, it's something like 'operation cancelled due to new restrictions see your administrator'

I have no idea what has been changed. I am the administrator of my computer, but that did not help.

You don't mention what program you use for mail. By chance, it would be MS Outlook?

  • Cannot open the link to the catalogue EPUBreader (chrome: / / URL)

I have FF 16.0.2 and expansion EPUBreader installed and it works fine. When I click on a local .epub file, it opens in the browser.
Also have a local webserver (http://localhost) and a homepage with all my links the and external.
I would like to add a link to the Epub catalog like this:
    < a href = "chrome://epubreader/content/catalog.xul" target = _blank > < /a > BOOKS
The problem is that FF does not show anything, when the link is clicked. How should I do?

That an extension can open a URL chrome via this link on a web page.

You can see in the ' tools > error Console "a security error.

You can use a bookmark to the location defined in the URL chrome instead, if you want to open the catalog.xul page.

  • iOS 9.3 cannot open the links more on safari, mail, and other messengers

My Safari on iOS 9.2.1 (update: and now 9.3) will not open most of the links more, i.e. by typing on a link on a page does nothing. Worse, other applications like Messages, Chrome are problems when they try to open URL links.

The common question is breaks when you tapoterez links and even Mobile Safari press and hold (to get the app open a link in a new tab), the device will freeze and eventually crashes.

Unfortunately, this is a common problem.

Try turning off JavaScript under settings - Safari - Advanced.

  • Cannot open the link in a peer-to-peer network

I created a peer-to-peer network between two equipped PDA to Windows Mobile 5.0. It is shown that two of them were connected, and their IP addresses are assigned automatically.

But when I used the function of TCP/IP Open, it returns an error 10060 "cannot open connection". I miss something here? It should be a simple connection.

The IP address 169.254.x.x, this is what is called a "auto assigned IP.  Which means that the device is set to get an IP from a DHCP server, but when he cannot find a DHCP server, it takes an IP address.  This allows to have an address on the computer network, but likely to be on the same subnet are not likely.  Also, the 169.254.x.x will change each time the computer restarts, or the NIC decides to try to obtain an IP address again.  It is never a good idea to use an IP address auto assigned in the communication of data, because these problems undelining.  If you do not connect to a DHCP server, it is always better to set a static IP address.

  • Windows 7 (64 bit) cannot open the links in a Web site

I found the answer to this and I tried the solution, but maybe I am doing something wrong because it does not work for me.   I have Win 7 64 bit OS.  Internet Explorer is broken to 32-bit.  I tried to do IE (64-bit), the default value, but it wouldn't let me.    So I go to a website and if there is a link there I can't open it.  I have to right click then copy the shortcut and then paste and enter.     Is there another solution?   Is there a way to make 64-bit by default or should I just use firefox?   Thank you
