Cannot package HelloWorld

I'm trying to compile an application HelloWorl for BB10 or tablet. and I can't seem to work.

BB10 application, I try to compile from a nonadministrator account.  I get the "the system cannot find the path specified" after its generated zip file.

The SDK path is: C:\Program Research In Motion\BlackBerry WebWorks SDK 1.0.4.5 10

and bbwp.bat is there.   If I change the path to an existing but wrong way I get the same error, so it must be a mistake with this.

When I try to compile for Tablet I get the following error:

2013-01-07 02:34:19 GET/ripple/build_status/8645 200
out: [INFO]
out: compilation of application WebWorks

out: error loading: C:\Program Research In Motion\BlackBerry WebWorks SDK for Tablet 2.2.0.5\jre\bin\client\jvm.dll

out: [INFO] the file bar packaging

I'm really new to ripple and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you guys.   Looks like what I need is a reboot to get the permissions in effect.

  • native extension iOS - cannot package app

    I'm trying to integrate the SDK MixPanel as native extension of our project. I can compile the. ANE fine, but when I try to package my application I get the following error:

    Undefined symbols of armv7 architecture: utf8_nextCharSafeBody, referenced from: libPods - MixPanel.a (MPVWebSocket.o) _validate_dispatch_data_partial_string

    the library is open source, heres this file:

    mixpanel-iphone/MPWebSocket.m to master · mixpanel/mixpanel-iphone · GitHub

    The definition of this function comes from this import:

    #import < unicode/utf8.h >

    which comes from the usr/include-> unicode-> utf8.h according to XCode.

    How can I include this file? Do I need to include it at all?

    My platform.xml looks like this:

    < platform xmlns " ="http://ns.adobe.com/air/extension/15.0"" " >

    < sdkVersion >6.0< /sdkVersion>

    < linkerOptions >

    < option >- ios_version_min 6.0< /option>

    < option >- frame Accelerate< /option>

    < option >- setting CoreTelephony< /option>

    < option >- Framework security< /option>

    </ linkerOptions >

    </ platform >

    I just found what was wrong, I needed to add the unicode as a dynamic library lib to my project of LinkerOptions:

  • cannot package animation swf inside the AIR application with API-ad-hoc of the target

    I have included a small animation today in my AIR application using a clip from movie to swf as below

    private var myLoader:Loader = new Loader();  animation connection

    private var url: URLRequest = new URLRequest("..) /.. /.. (' / data / ConnectingAnim.swf ');

    ... code to add the loader and position

    It works fine when I deploy on my device via USB, but when I try to package for ad-hoc distribution, the ipa resulting isn't fair. The screen with the animation is broken.

    I'm guessing that the packaging for the app store is probably broken too.

    Am I missing something?

    Thank you!

    You must use a loader context, unless you use the interpreter mode. Read this article:

    http://help.Adobe.com/en_US/ActionScript/3.0_ProgrammingAS3/WS5b3ccc516d4fbf351e63e3d118a9 b90204 - 7de0.html

    You want the context.applicationDomain = ApplicationDomain.currentDomain;  variation.

    I downloaded the ALBUM here:

    http://subzero.EU/WP-content/uploads/2012/10/EU.subzero.SZJpegEncoder.ane_.zip

    It is a known problem in AIR3.4.

    Here are two solutions for you-

    1. use the latest version of laboratories AIR3.5 (http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/air3-5.html)

    2. or, if you want it to work with your current configuration, as a solution, please also use Add a finalizer to your DONKEY function and declare in your extension.xml. The finalizer can do nothing, but simply return.

  • How the packet data / * ($HOME /) files by using the bar - descriptor.xml

    Hi, using sdk native c / c ++ with playbook Simulator 1.0

    I want to distribute with my application some data files that likely should fall under the ' data /' ($HOME?)

    folder.

    (I've written / will update them sometimes, so app/native/does not appropriate I suppose.)

    in the bar - descriptor.xml, I tried adding them as an 'active '.

    who drops their bottom right in app/native / *.

    so I change the XML .bar to try to get them grounded in data.

    Here's what I found:

    by train: data/filename landed the file in app/native/data/filename

    try:... /... / Data/filename received the error

    by train: / data/filename received the error (hoping to slash leader was compared to the sandbox)

    I even on a lark tried: $HOME/filename, who literally created file app/native / $HOME!

    so he tried a ${HOME} with the curlies. I got an error saying unable to resolve the path variable.

    How can I get the data files in the folder/data ($HOME) using the .bar packaging?

    You cannot package the file into the data, you copy your files at startup, if they don't not exist your app/native/data for example

    Hello

    The blackberry-deploy tool needs the application BAR package on your host system to extract the details necessary to identify the application on the target of the PlayBook/Simulator, to uninstall.

    So, he needs to a path to an existing BAR (HelloWorld.bar in your example), which would be either an absolute path or a path relative to your working directory.

  • Question of Simulator: white screen off center instead of application

    Hello

    I'm new on the BlackBerry community, the development of BlackBerry et al. Today, I downloaded the SDK to test the Tablet Simulator 0.9.2 but I already spent several hours trying to get something to run without success.

    The Simulator is installed without any apparent problems. I have read the forums today and I had none of the problems that others have mentioned, as a screen freezes or problems during startup.

    I use a trial version of VMWare Fusion 3.1.2 on Mac OS X 10.6.6.

    I don't have Adobe Flash Builder, so I use TextWrangler. I wrote an applescript script which, during the recording of my actionscript file, called a perl script (I know, sounds redundant, but it works) and fact the compilation for me as posted by Taylor Byrnes (amxmlc, blackberry-airpackager). I'm able to talk to the simulator that my output from compilation shows any errors (as far as I know), but my application appear in the Simulator without the icon that I have provided.

    When the application is started, all I get is a white screen off-center without content about it.

    I've also compiled the HelloWorld example provided. What I received was another app in the Simulator with the default icon that does exactly the same thing: a biased white screen. Whenever I have recompile a script with minor changes, the icons in the Simulator flash for a millisecond, and then I get the same off white screen.

    Someone knows something like that? Clues?

    There is obviously something I have to hurt. I can put my arguments to command-line and script if that helps. I tested my swf file in the Flash Player application and it shows. All what I have there is a red dwarf with a TextField on the top.

    Sorry for the comments and thanks for any help, you can provide.

    Daniel

    Are there spaces in folder names anywhere in the path to your project on your computer?  If so try to migrate your development to a folder that has no space in any folder named everywhere in its path.  Maybe it's not the cause of the problem, but in all cases, you should remove it as a possibility.  Windows users are discouraged to use the directory C:\Documents and Settings typical for Playbook dirs project.

    The other thing that went off to the top of some people using versions of command line is picky how the tools are.  In your command line, try using the - C option, and make sure it's between - package .bar and installApp -:

    I.e. instead of:

    blackberry-airpackager -package HelloWorld.bar -installApp -launchApp HelloWorld-app.xml HelloWorld.swf [ICON FILE NAME] -device [PLAYBOOK IP ADDRESS] -password [SIMULATOR PASSWORD]

    follow these steps:

    blackberry-airpackager -package HelloWorld.bar -C [YOUR PROJECT WORKING DIR} -installApp -launchApp HelloWorld-app.xml HelloWorld.swf [ICON FILE NAME] -device [PLAYBOOK IP ADDRESS] -password [SIMULATOR PASSWORD]

    The airpackager in the SDK 0.9.1 was picky about the order of the command line options.  I'm still not on 0.9.2 but see nothing in the notes to having fixed them thereon.

    Edit: Note; I've never had a center off white screen w/all of my command line compiling adventures, but before I got the mantra of the 'proper' command line, I got apps that showed a splash screen and then just went.  I'm on Windows (XP SP3), btw.

  • Question related to the bays of transients

    Hello

    I have a memory error loading simple a helloworld applet that uses a transient 256bytes array in the constructor.

    I use a yubikey neo (atr FE: 3B FA 13 00 00 81 31 15 59 75 62 69 6 b 65 79 4th 45 4F A6), JCDK 2.2.2 and the Eclipse plugin. The PAC file is loaded using YPG.

    I can load only one instance of the applet (AA010203040506070809 help for example) correctly, but I get a memory error when I try to load a second copy (for example with the help of BB010203040506070809).

    Error message when loading the applet is: APDU response: 6 to 84.

    I'm sure that this error is due to the presence of an array of transitional: If this line is deleted, I can easily load multiple instance of the applet (the PAC file is only 3kbyte and I can easily load a cap of 30kbyte file).

    I don't understand why the memory error when loading of the applet (and not during execution) since the transient table is allocated in the RAM (as far as I understand).

    Secondly, two tables of 256 bytes doesn't seem much to me, since the yubikey has about 2915 byte memory transient available (depending on JavaCard support test).

    Obviously, I'm missing something but I don't know what.

    Here is the code of the applet (helloworld Sun modified with a line of the constructor):

    The limit could come from the yubikey itself, cards may have a limit on the number of instances they allow by the applet. I already saw this, and this info is rarely available until you have problems and ask the provider of card/object.

    It seems not to be the case because "it works" without the transient table.

    There are some things you can try:

    1)

    Very often the buffer APDU itself can be used volatile buffer, without transitional additional.

    2)

    I try to use JCSystem.CLEAR_ON_DESELECT instead of JCSystem.CLEAR_ON_RESET.

    These may not be implemented, or maybe a bug. The difference is that all CLEAR_ON_DESELECT references are "stacked" for each instance, instead of reserve more memory for each instance.

    3)

    Even if you create more than one instance, the PAC file is loaded only once, same as a class in a real JVM, and each instance uses only memory to store references and objects of "instance". However, static fields are (obviously) only stored as a single, shared by all instances.

    It is possible to declare your 'static' transitional object and return only once, as you would for a singleton object, when the reference is found to be "null". This is possible because usually, instance that a cmdlet is alive at a given time, and this memory is a buffer of time anyway, so we don't care if it belongs to the class or instance.

    There is a catch though, as the reference to that object is bound to the class (package) and not to the instance. If this object reference is retained even if you delete all instances (and you will find it again once you re - create another instance). It will be only deleted when you delete the package.

    If this is a problem, the solution is explicitly to count the number of instances created: increment a static field in the constructor and it decrement in uninstall() reminder provided by the AppletEvent of JC 2.2.x interface.

  • Plugin missing

    I have CS4 and try to open a file created in CS3 and receive the following missing plugin message:

    The document you are trying to open uses one or more plug-ins are currently not available on your system.  You want to open it anyway?

    IDToHttpMultiDocPersistance.pln

    I'm relatively new to create and edit design files.  Any help would be appreciated - how I acquire this plugin as I cannot package the document that I was prompted to change.

    Export your edited .inx file, then open and save as an .indd don't. That should remove the plugin info.

  • Hello world giving error

    Greeting to all.

    JDeveloper 11 g.

    Trying Hello world to work but in error.

    Here is the code:
    package helloworld;

    public class HelloWorld {
        public HelloWorld() {
        }
        public static void main(String[] args) {
            HelloWorld hello = new HelloWorld();
            String name = args[0];
            String greeting = "Hello";

            System.out.println(greeting + " " + name);
        }
    }
    Compiles correctly. But when I run it I get no entry at the bottom of the log window bar and I'm getting following error: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 0
    in helloworld. HelloWorld.main (HelloWorld.java:8)
    Process has finished with exit code 1.

    I'm puzzled. Any suggestion?

    Thank you

    Hello Raman,

    probably you run the main method where you found a few arguments (args [0]), and since you did not put everything you found the error.
    then right click on the project-> properties-> Run/Debug / Profile-> default-> Edit-> program arguments: insert an argument (for example, the word Raman)

    Kind regards

  • Re: Satellite U200 - 10K cannot send a single net package using Vista

    Hello.

    I'm sorry for the Crossposting, but I really need your help.

    My Satellite U200 - 10K cannot send a single net package. I have connected the laptop (Windows Vista Home Basic) with the other PC (Windows XP Professional SP2) and gave them the two static IP addresses. Then I ping my PC U200. Everything is Ok, the PC sends out packets and gets answers. After that, I try to do the same to the laptop. And in this case, the U200 cannot send anything on the PC, but can ping itself with its own IP address. All fire walls and anti-virus programms are closed.

    So, at least, I need to know, is this a problem of Windows Vista or of one of the network adapter, should I get the laptop to the service center?

    Thanks for help.

    Alexander.

    The connection to the LAN between Vista and XP computer should Hmm generally works without big problems.
    I wonder what TCP/IP protocol configured?  :|

    Vista uses the IPv4 and IPv6 protocols. I would recommend using the IP v4

    One question; did you install all the Vista patches and fixes? You should do this because of various bugs in Vista

  • "windows cannot find a driver" in the installation package?

    We have a file server and print XP on our network that has a printer Series PCL LaserJet 3330 installed 5th (using the original installation CD and prints from the XP Server). While trying to install the printer on a remote computer, I downloaded the driver package Windows 7 64 bit for the printer on the computer remote and got the error: «Windows cannot find a driver...» "(I don't understand why the pilot was not as it should be in the installation package.) After getting this error - several times, including the re - download the package and re - try - I downloaded the XP Server installation package and I changed the printer driver it as a package to install downloaded for XP. We always get the same error. The installation of the printer worked fine before having to redo our BONES. Anyone know this problem and can help with this?

    This issue is between 64 bit and 32 bit, and there is an easy solution. Once you get back to the way it was before you downloaded the 64-bit package that you go to the machine that you want to load the printer and the printer as a local printer using load say lpt1 port. Auto not detect or print a test page and just finished the installation. Now on the windows 7 computer to join devices and printers and right click on the printer icon and scroll the properties first and left click. Go to the ports, and then add the port and in the box that comes up to put in the name of printserver and the share name of the printer by using the syntax \\printserver\sharename how save and apply and this computer will now be able to print to the printer.
